The World Cup of Pokemon - Round Three (Finals)
Congratulations to team Asia for winning the Second Annual World Cup of Pokemon.
The much anticipated finals are here, pitting Asia against USA Central. Best of luck to both, and thanks to everyone for a fun tournament. Without further ado... Rules -ADVANCED MODE -Single Elimination -No Ubers (No Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Wobbuffet/Wynaut, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys [All Forms]) -Sleep Clause -Freeze Clause -Species Clause -Self-KO Clause -No OHKO/Evasion based moves -XD moves will be allowed -Unrated/PP Ups optional -The new tour rules will NOT be in effect. You can use Celebi, Jirachi, Hidden Power etc Pairings Asia vs USA Central Cromat vs SSBM Roy MoP vs zfs Groudon80 vs Sanders husk vs Roy Vapicuno vs Nate goofball vs ToP VIL vs Lesm46 Council vs Aeolus Asia Subs: Anomalous, Raikou21 USA Central Subs: N/A I see some awesome matches, I look forward to seeing how this will play out. Secondly, I am firing Roy as captain as I feel Aeolus is more responsible and can make possible subs if needed. There is no deadline, but I hope this can be done within 2 weeks. PM YOUR OPPONENTS AND ARRANGE A TIME TO BATTLE. I trust you all to do so. Good luck. Feel free to post predictions/smack talk in this thread. Both of these guys are awesome battlers and I think this could go either way but I'm going to pick SSBM Roy for the upset here. MoP vs zfs Not like he doesn't already have more than enough support from himself, but yeah, MoP'll win this. Groudon80 vs Sanders He's been going hot for a while now and Sanders just hasn't been consistent and battled very often. husk vs Roy Could go either way but once again, I think husk has been more consistent and playing more often these days and he'll take this. Vapicuno vs Nate #ro love brother :*** goofball vs ToP Asian. VIL vs Lesm46 Yep, that's right, I predicted against VIL, oh my, I must be drunk or something. :rolleyes: I have faith in Lesm and I think he'll net the upset. Council vs Aeolus He's like my nigger brother except not, he'll take this one. This makes it 4-4 and I predict a Groudon80 or VIL vs. Aeolus tiebreaker where Aeolus wins it.

Okay, at first, I was skeptical at first, thinking Cromat never battles anymore so he might not fair well, however, he's been our MVP raping the other team's best battler constantly. Normally I'd pick SSBM Roy for his knack of random winning but Cromat is a monster during this tournament. MoP vs zfs I was told the next time I showed a condescending attitude I would be banned, so with that said in mind, me. Groudon80 vs Sanders Sanders prefer to forfeit rather then putting up with wasting his team playing Pokemon when he could be doing elsethings, i.e., eating. husk vs Roy I am the mastermind behind Roy's battling. Oh but not this time. Plus, I've built like Roy's last 3 teams, hehe. Vapicuno vs Nate Still sadly doubting Vapicuno as I have never seen him actually battle. However, if Nate uses a 70% power team, I sure as hell know what that team is! goofball vs ToP Asian. VIL vs Lesm46 Lesm is very good, and a partner of mine in another tournament, however given his past tournament streak against VIL, VIL always seems to win a lot more often, so going with VIL. Council vs Aeolus Oh the battle of the top gun at PR against the former top gun at PR, who will win?!?! I'm going with the PR Hall of Famer, hehe. There it is, I'm predicting a 7-1. |

Cromat vs SSBM Roy Cromat is my nigga taking on Conker R1 and Warthog R2, so going with him. MoP vs zfs well, I can't go wrong with picking ego boy there... Groudon80 vs Sanders Groudon80 is just uber sorry sanders. husk vs Roy Interesting match here but I have to go with my boy husk but we still homies roy. This match can really go either way ._. Vapicuno vs Nate Another interesting match up here which could prolly go either way too. goofball vs ToP I have an ego too xD VIL vs Lesm46 well VIL lost to hill in round 1 making us lose our undefeated record into a 12-1 and lesm is a mighty cheater, if VIL can overcome the luck ._. (another close match up I rather not call) Council vs Aeolus lol reading MoP's comment well aeolus and IPL whatever go Team Asia.

Both are good but going with Cromat here MoP vs zfs I never saw zfs battling so going with MoP Groudon80 vs Sanders G80 is the better battler i think... husk vs Roy husk is good Vapicuno vs Nate Vapicuno for the upset win goofball vs ToP .-. VIL vs Lesm46 Both are good, but i never saw any of them battling iirc ._. Random guess Council vs Aeolus ipl is just good at pokemon kinda hoping USA for the upset win :X |
