How will Weezing do in the new generation?

With the moves' phsyical/special attacks being different how will Weezing be affected? Weezing's my favorite pokemon, I hope he's still good.

He's still good. He counters Heracross, which is a major threat in this gen.

But he can no longer wall Medicham because Cham carries Psycho Cutter

He can force Cham to stick to Psycho Cutter getting a free Weavile/ Tar switch, maybe even a Cresselia Thunder Wave.

Haze also stops Ninjask, which is a plus. I long to see someone try to set up Rampard(os) only to eat Haze.

Edit for below: But one could still Haze on Ninjask. Worst case scenario, you haze the Rampard switch in.

Rampardos uses Earthquake on Weezing, which has its Levitate neutralized due to, and easily 2HKOs or OHKOs with a Swords Dance. Weezing just doesn't have enough to survive in this generation; it has neither super-great resistances nor overly high defenses.

Countering Gyarados and Heracross should be enough to get him moderate use. He does a good job against physical Lucario and Garchomp too. Although he can't really hurt Garchomp, but Will-O-Wisp and Haze are enough to shut him down.

That works both ways. Does Garchomp want to risk getting his attack crippled by a move that only has a 40% chance of missing? With Weezing vs. Garchomp both are taking massive risks.

Weezing is a nice Heracross counter and a nice Gyarados counter, and it doesn't fear Pursuit in the slightest (like Dusknoir does). Being able to mess up Garchomp is a plus, and Electivire isn't a major threat since it fears Wisp (useful, since Electivire would otherwise switch in when you bolt Gyarados). It's like Swampert - it doesn't do a whole lot on its own, but it handles some tough threats and really helps the team out.
