The Fastest Hitmon: Hitmonlee Discussion.

#106 Hitmonlee
Base Stats: 50 HP / 120 Atk / 53 Def / 35 SAtk / 110 SDef / 87 Spd
Ability: Limber (Hitmonlee cannot be paralyzed)
Ability: Body Risk (attacks with recoil do more recoil damage to the opponent)

Notable Physical Movepool
Double Kick
Hi Jump Kick
Brick Break
In Fight
Reversal
Mach Punch
Blaze Kick
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Rock Slide
Poison Stab
Fake Out
Rapid Spin
Feint

Notable Support Movepool
Bulk Up

The fastest Hitmon, but also it seems to be the least flexible. Its new ability is only good if you want to make a Staraptor kamikaze with Brave Bird or Double-Edge and its defense isn't good enough to survive recoil attacks really. He did get some notable improvements in his movepool in Hi Jump Kick's BP increase, In Fight, Stone Edge, and Poison Stab. Fake Out could be fun on a CB set. Maybe. Medicham does that better.

He also lost Hidden Power [Ghost] as a physical move, meaning his strongest option against Gengar and Mismagius is Stone Edge. The more I look at Hitmonlee the more I feel that he just isn't as good as before. Why couldn't he get more elemental kicks outside of Blaze Kick? If he had some kind of Freeze Kick or something he could be more useful.

Hitmonlee @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant (+Atk -SAtk)
Trait: Limber
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
-Hi Jump Kick / In Fight
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Blaze Kick

Eh, this seems to be about as good as Hitmonlee can do. It's just a damn shame that such a cool pose in his D/P artwork will go to waste with how much less flexible he is.

OK, First: Blaze Kick is superior to Poison STAB ALWAYS. PS is only SE against Grass, and BK has more power than PS. Although In-Fight does more to Ice and Steel, Blaze Kick hits the few off-type ones like Froslass and Skarmory harder(or just about in Skarm's case), and only Flash Fire pokemon are immune to it, most of which greatly dislike either Stone-Edge(not Heatran) or HJK(Heatran). Blaze Kick also does the most damage to Heracross out of Hitmonlee's moves.

Subversal is probably still the best set, just replacing a few moves.

Oh crap, I did put Poison Stab there, that was a major mistake. I'll edit it. Also, I don't like Subversal sets since sandstream is so prominent. If Hitmonlee's still in UU (which he probably would be) he'd have to worry about Sandstorm (should Abomasnow be there). Add to that Stealth Rock which messes up subversaling so you can't get down to 1HP for maximum Reversal power and I personally don't like its chances.

Subversal is complete suicide in D/P unless you're Lucario, with all the new priority moves and Abomasnow's new trait. I'd probably go with:
@CB
In Fight
Stone Edge
Fake Out
Mach/Pallete Punch/Blaze Kick
Blaze Kick if you're using it in standard play, but if in UU then it's pretty useless as Heracross is non-existent. Stone Edge+In Fight covers everything, Fake Out is nice for a free hit against something you'll switch out against anyway, and Mach/Palette Punch kills Endrevvers and can finish off fast Pokemon.

Awesome! Hitmonlee finally gets Blaze Kick? Needs more Bolt Kick/Frost Kick existing though. Hitmonlee would make a nice A-Scarf user due to para immune and his still decent attack movepool.

Hitmonlee @ Adherence Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP (there are no magic speeds in DP)
Nature: Adamant (Atk+/SAtk-)
- HJK
- Blaze Kick
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Stone Edge, In Fight, Mach Punch, Blaze Kick

Earthquake is sorta meh. Blaze Kick is meh as well but atleast it hits Celebi hard...Mach Punch is just oo good to pass up imo

This set is the one that would probably work the best with Hitmonlee. You need a Jolly Nature w/ MAX Attack, MAX Speed, and the rest in HP to pull the set off. Hitmonlee won't outspeed with Adamant.

"Willis used Nasty Plot!"

"What you plottin about Willis?"

Hitmonlee just reaches 300 Speed with a + nature, which IMO is good enough reason to consider using a Jolly nature on its sets.

The problem is that you'll need a 31 Speed IV and that's kinda hard :S, i like it as a CBander, that's the best it could do...

In Fight/Stone Edge/Mach Punch/Blaze Kick @CB seems the way to go; Hitmonlee doesn't really do much else worth noting.
