1. You must get your battle done in time
2. Battle Timeout must be on
3. Generation must be Advance
4. Stadium Mode, Challenge Cup and Level Balance must be OFF

That's right, everything else goes. You can scout your opponent, use ubers, put everything to sleep, put 6 Mewtwo's on your team, force ties with last Pokemon Explosion...of course, you're not allowed to do shit like stalling your opponent or banning them. Because the Smogon server forces Sleep Clause to be on, I recommend using another server.
I will leave open sign-ups for quite a long while, and in the first round just kick anyone out who is inactive and so on. It's your fault if you sign up into this totally awesome kickass tournament and then don't battle at all.
That said, if you sign up and I feel you don't put enough effort in your battle I'm going to infract you. Other than that, GO!
