I'll take you Solstice. I have some new Pokemon I'd like to level up. Switch = KO, No items, All abilities.
Arena: Aisenfield, Ivalice

Welcome to Ivalice! The sun is high over the Aisenfield, flat except for a few bumps and bushes. Prepare for a fun battle, but look now, we seem to have a Judge! The giant armoured knight shows up on his chocobo to wreak some havoc! We have some laws to be followed, but don't worry too much, there are some recommended actions as well!

Laws: No Mind Altering Effects (Confusion or Attraction)
No hurting the Judge
No healing allies (No Healing Wish, Wish, Heal Pulse, Heal Bell, or Aromatherapy)

Recommended Actions: Evasion Increasing Moves
Ghost Type Moves
Multi-Hit Moves

Whenever anyone breaks a law the judge will hit them for 10 damage! But whenever anyone uses a recommended action there is no energy penalty!

I send out Jormungandr the Magikarp and Astraea the Staryu, but unfortunately my computer doesn't want me to put sprites in.

Anyway, I want both of you two to just use Ice Beam (Starmie) and Bounce (Magikarp) on Shroomish, because I think it really needs to go soon because it looks quite dangerous. If it tries to use Spore against Magikarp, try to dodge it by Bouncing up over the spores, and if it tries to use it on Staryu, use Minimize to try to evade it. Hopefully we can be more strategic when we go second next round.
 
Ok this is going to take some timing folks! Bushido you need to first try and dodge the first Bounce and useSpore when he lands! If it doesn't work try again, but once it does just keep Seed Bombing on Astraea!

Fellow this is your first battle so just do your best! Start off with a Sand Attack on Astraea and then use Tackle twice on it!

Alright, welcome to Aisenfield, Ivalice, where two users, named Solstice & Athenodoros, go to war in a 4v4 Doubles. I am the Judge, Its_A_Random, & I am armed with my Gliscor. Break one of my laws & I will punish the offending Pokemon with my Gliscor. Shall we begin? Okay. Solstice opens out by summoning Bushido the Shroomish & Fellow the Eevee to the field in Attack mode! Athenodoros replies by summoning Jormungandr the Magikarp & Astraea the Staryu to the field in Attack mode as well! (Oh, sorry for the YGO reference...) Shall we go to the first actions that I'll judge? Yes, we shall.

Alrightio, Astraea opens the round with an Ice Beam, firing it at Bushido, & the beam of cold hits him in a weak spot! A Critical Hit already! That Shroomish must've come unprepared...Anyways, Jormungandr decides to flop about, gaining momentum before making one big Bounce into the air! He dodges Bushido's Spore with ease as Fellow concludes the round with a Sand Attack on Astraea, lowering his accuracy.

The second action begins with a blinded Astraea launching an Ice Beam at Bushido, & amazingly, Astraea hits the same weak spot on Bushido as before! It's 2 Critical Hits from 2 Actions for Astraea! It now feels as lucky as reyscarface after those two actions...bs hax...Moving on, & Jormungandr comes crashing back to Earth, Bouncing on Bushido & dealing a number to him. Fellow, in the meantime, continues his assault on Astraea, using Tackle to do a number on the lucky star, & Bushido rounds out the action by using Spore on the flopping Jormungandr, putting him to sleep & making him dream about his eventual evolution...

Now onto action three, & Astraea continues on its Ice Beam rampage, hitting Bushido again, despite the sand! And this time, it's not a Critical Hit! Jormungandr continues to dream about evolution, while Fellow Tackles Astraea for a number. Bushido caps off the round with a Seed Bomb on Astraea, dealing a number to it.

The four have done well to abide by my laws, & they're all near the centre of the arena, about 2 metres apart from each other. All four now await their next actions.

Solstice is next. A couple of notes: 1. You cannot dodge & use a move on the same action. Pick one or the other, & 2. I'm treating Bounce as a 2 action move after lurking around looking at battles where Bounce is used.
 
Ok Bushido I need you alive for as long as possible! Start off with a Leech Seed on Jormungandr, and then Mega Drain him twice! If Leech Seed misses the first time try again and replace a Mega Drain!

Fellow you're doing great! Now what I need you to do is constantly attack Astraea with Tackle, but if it EVER tries to attack Bushido I need you to Quick Attack in front of the attack and take it!

Bushido: Leech Seed-Mega Drain/Leech Seed-Mega Drain
Fellow: Tackle-Tackle-Tackle (Replace any with blocking Quick Attack if Bushido is aimed at)
 
I'd really prefer if Bushido did not stay alive for too much longer. To start with, Staryu can run (?) over take the Leech Seed for Jormungandr, and make sure it hits so that it doesn't try it again. Then, use Rapid Spin on Bushido to spin off the seeds and stop Fellow from attacking anyone for a bit. Finally, finish up with a Hydro Pump against 'Bushido'.

Jormungandr, you can just use Bounce for as many actions as you can against Shroomish. You're not trying to dodge anything this time, so it is just a standard one-action attack. Also, you know Bounce is Super Effective against Shroomish?

Alright, the round begins with the sleeping beauty: Jormungandr...Continuing to sleep, dreaming about evolving or any other things Magikarps dream about. Then Fellow makes the next move, Tackling Astraea for a number. Bushido is third, firing a Leech Seed at Jormungandr, but...Astraea takes the seeds in place of Jormungandr, becoming seeded itself.

Astraea is first next action, & it decides to Rapid Spin the seeds off itself. Astraea spins towards Bushido...Only for Fellow to use Quick Attack...Only for the blinded Star to miss completely, but Astraea does get the seeds off itself, however. In the meantime, Jormungandr continues to sleep, while Bushido uses Leech Seed again, this time, successfully seeding Jormungandr & wastes no time sapping the Magikarp's health.

Third Action & Astraea fires a Hydro Pump at "Bushido", only for Fellow to use Quick Attack again to take the Hydro Pump, which hits for a number. Jormungandr in the meantime, wakes up & starts to flop about again before making a big Bounce into the air, dodging Bushido's incoming Mega Drain as the round draws to a close.

All four are in the same positions as before bar Jormungandr, who is in the air at the moment. All four now await their actions for Round Three.

Random, you know that Bounce is a one-turn attack in ASB right? All the charge-up attacks just have -1 priority in ASB unless the player asks them to stay up in the air.

Anyway, I think we really just need that Shroomish to die, now. Jorm can start off the round by coming down with Bounce on Shroomish, and Astraea can use Ice Beam on Shroomish as well. Next, Astraea can keep letting off Ice Beams until Shroomish has passed out, and Magikarp can keep using (hopefully one-action) Bounces on Shroomish for the same period. Then, Astraea can switch to using Recover to restore some help and Jormungandr can start using Reversal against Eevee.
 
Ok guys this one is going to be pretty simple! Bushido use Mega Drain-Seed Bomb-Mega Drain on Astraea and Fellow use keep Quick Attacking Astraea! Once it gets KOd attack Jormungandr with he same actions!

Alright, time for Round Three. Fellow opens the round with a Quick Attack, dealing a number to Astraea, who bites back with an Ice Beam to Bushido, hitting him in a weak spot! A Critical Hit! Talk about a lucky star...Jormungandr then comes down from the air, crashing into Bushido with Bounce & dealing a number to him. Bushido concludes the round by firing a Mega Drain at Astraea, dealing a number & recovering lost health, further replenished after Leech Seed.

On to Action Two, & Fellow launches another Quick Attack, as Astraea fires an Ice Beam at Bushido, dealing just enough damage to knock out Bushido! Following Bushido's demise, Jormungandr breathes a sigh of relief & starts to use Reversal, flopping his way to Fellow & whacking him with his tail, dealing a number. Now with Bushido gone, the seeds will disappear now, right? Wrong. After hitting Fellow with Reversal, the seeds reconnect themselves to Fellow & he is now recovering health from Leech Seed!

Last action of the round, & Fellow Quick Attacks Astraea for a number again! Boring...So Astraea undoes those Quick Attacks by using Recover, recovering some lost health. Jormungandr rounds out the round with another Reversal, dealing the same number as before.

The three are at close quarters, less than 2 metres separating either of the three as they await their trainers actions...

Ok I'll send out Bella Luna the Nohface. Now actions! What we really need to do is finish that stupid starfish! Fellow I want you to combine actions and use Shadow Ball+Hidden Power Fire to make a large flaming ball of dark energy an throwing it at Astraea and then finishing the round with a 10 HP Substitute!

Bella Luna start by using Faint Attack on Astraea to try an pin it on the floor, keep doing that until it's down, and then repeatedly use Lick while it's trapped!

Astraea, start off by letting off a Hydro Pump at Fellow's glorified Will-o-wisp to put it out and render it useless. Then, Chill once to get some energy back and then let off another Hydro Pump to blow Bella away with water from point blank range so it won't lick you.

Jormungadr, you can Take the first Faint Attack for Astrea, which should power up your Reversal attack a bit. Use Reversal twice afterward against Fellow to try to beat it away from Astraea.

Alright, we're back for Round 4, & it appears that user Athenodoros has the upper hand after an early knockout of Bushido & going up 4-3! What will Solstice do to get the advantage back? He sends out Bella Luna the Nohface to try & dispel the Water Type predominate team that Athenodoros has. On to the action, shall we? Will someone break one of my laws? Read on.

Alright, Astraea opens with a Hydro Pump directed at Fellow! Unluckily for the usually lucky star, Astraea's shot of water was rather inaccurate & it misses Fellow! Jormungandr decides to give up his move by flopping towards Astraea, looking like he's ready to bodyguard Astraea. Fellow then fires a Shadow Ball in the air, before firing HP Fire at it. Hmmm...A combo...What will it do? Fellow hits the Shadow Ball with HP Fire & makes it home in on Astraea, the combo seems to work, but the result is that Shadow Ball becomes a Fire Type move! The ball of fire hits Astraea & it doesn't do as much damage as anticipated! Wow, that was the result...Anyways, Bella Luna rounds out the action by using Faint Attack, tricking Astraea into one thing, before hitting Jormungandr, who seems to have taken the Faint Attack for Astraea! That's what Jormungandr was doing...To round out the action, Fellow recovers HP from the Leech Seed on Jormungandr, before the seeds wither & fall off him.

The next action begins with Astraea becoming tired after all that action, so it decides to chill off, restoring some of its energy. In the meantime, Jormungandr flops his way over to Fellow & smacks him with a Reversal, dealing a number. Fellow does nothing for the round after becoming exhausted from the Shadow Ball + HP Fire combo, while Bella Luna rounds out the action with a Faint Attack on Astraea, dealing a number & trapping it.

Action Three begins with a trapped Astraea, at point-blank range, fires off a Hydro Pump! The force of the rushing water sends Bella Luna flying through the air before crashing face-first into the ground, forcing her to take extra damage as a result. In the meantime, Jormungandr continues on his flopping Reversal stints, but this time, the Magikarp hits Fellow in a weak spot! A Critical Hit! It still doesn't do much, though...In response to the Critical Hit, Fellow retaliates by randomly grabbing a Smoke Bomb & setting it off. By the time the smoke had dissipated, where Fellow was is now what appears to be a Substitute decoy, which looks of a fairly poor quality. To finish off the round, Bella Luna, who's unhappy about losing her grip on Astraea, delivers another Faint Attack at it, dealing a number & trapping the star again.

Jormungandr is situated about 1 metre from the decoy, Bella Luna in on Astraea, & God knows where Fellow is, anyways, it is time for the four to get new actions to utilise.

Athenodoros is next. A couple of things, As you might have noticed, I'm now referring to the stats as Ranks now as per policy changes & also, don't forget to check your speeds! If your Pokemon is faster, don't be afraid to make your Pokemon wait!
 
Okay, we're going to start off kind of unconventionally: Jormungandr can start off by flopping around in the water with Splash and combining it with the desperate blows of Reversal to knock Bella Luna off Astraea by desperatly attacing with the water you have thrown up. Then, Astraea can use the opportunity to Recover some health, before launching an Ice Beam at Fellow's Substitute to break it. Jormungandr can finish the round by using Reversal once more against Fellow once Astraea has destroyed the substitute.
 
Ok, I'm not very worried about the splash attempts because there's no water in Aisenfield and Reversal won't do anything! Bella Luna lead off with a powerful Meteor Mash in Astraea's crystal! Then repeatedly Lick it! If Astraea manages to get away use Faint Attack to pin it again!

Fellow you seem nice and comfortable behind your sub, start us off with a chill. Then Quick Attack right through Bella and smash Astraeadeeper into the ground! Finish with a strong Tackle on Astraea through Bella again!

Random remember that there's no energy penalty for using Ghost moves because it's one of the encouraged actions. Im not sure if you didn't count the combo because of it being fire, just double checking.

Hmmm...Shall we see what Round 5 has in store for us? Okay, let's see what happens. Anyways, Jormungandr opens the round with a combo of Splash & Reversal! By using some of the water left behind by Astraea's Hydro Pumps, Jormungandr bounces off the water, bouncing higher & higher, until he does a somersault & whacks Bella Luna, despite her Ghost-Type, the plucky Magikarp manages to hit a metal bit on Bella Luna, dealing quite a bit of damage! This forces the Nohface to lose her grip on Astraea as she stumbles back. Astraea takes advantage of this opportunity & uses Recover to restore its health. Meanwhile, somewhere in the distance, Fellow takes advantage of of the break he gets & chills off some health. To finish off the round, unhappy that her grip was lost, Bella Luna uses Faint Attack on Astraea, dealing a number & trapping the Staryu again!

Alright, on to action two, & Fellow gets the jump, coming from nowhere to use Quick Attack on the trapped Astraea before disappearing. Astraea feels this & figures out that what looks like Fellow is only a mere doppelganger! So it fores an Ice Beam at it, destroying the decoy, despite being in the clutches of Bella Luna! Jormungandr is resting from the combo & does nothing while Bella Luna Licks Astraea for a number! Good Action! I'll waive the Energy Cost for that move!

Now for the final action for the round, & Astraea, opens by using Ice Beam to escape from Bella Luna's clutches! Meanwhile, Jormungandr spots the real Fellow in the distance & flops his way over there to smack Fellow with Reversal! Fellow instantly runs away from Jormungandr & Tackles Astraea for further damage, while Bella Luna seals Astraea's fate, using Faint Attack to deliver the final blow to Astraea, knocking it out cold.

Bella Luna & Fellow are near the centre of the arena while Jormungandr is 10 metres away near his trainer: Athenodoros. Now to wait for the Round 6 actions...

Ok guys, good work so far! Bella Luna I want you to mix Meteor Mash+Shadow Sneak to accelerate into your smashing of Ao! Then once that's finished I want you to Rock Slide Jormungandr and try and trap him! Fellow you can't do much to Ao so start us off with a Helping Hand to boost Bella's combo! Then lead off with a Sand Attack on Jormungandr, followed by a Shadow Ball to conserve energy!

Ao, you can start off the round by using Bide, and unleashing energy against Eevee as the first attack in the third action. Jormungandr, you can start off by using Reversal against Eevee. Next, use Bounce to jump up into the air, and this time I want you to stay up there until next action, so at least there can be no argument. In your third action, come down on Eevee, hopefully knocking her out. If she is unconscious, come down on Nohface instead.

Okay, welcome back to Ivalice, where the score is set at 3-3 after Athenodoros lost Astraea at the end of last round. So what will he send out next? It's another Water Type, this one is known as Ao the Tirtouga. Will the ridiculously short name mean good luck for Atheno? Let's find out.

Alright & the round begins with Fellow lending out a Helping Hand to Bella Luna & what she plans to do next. Seeing this in caution, Ao decides to use Bide & starts to brace himself, readying himself by storing energy for the impact that's about to happen...And here it comes! Bella Luna goes for a Shadow Sneak + Meteor Mash combo! What will be the results? Well, all it seems to do is increase the velocity of the Meteor Mash, give it priority, & that's about it. However, the increased impact, combined with Helping Hand, results in a lot of damage to Ao! Ao doesn't seem to be bothered by this, however, as Jormungandr flops his way to Fellow & whacks him with a Reversal, dealing the same damage he's been doing for a while...

On to action two, & Ao continues to store energy, readying for a potential attack, while Jormungandr decides to Bounce into the air, dodging Fellow's Sand Attack. Bella Luna, on the other hand, takes time to recover from her combo & does nothing.

Last action, & Ao unleashes an almighty attack on Fellow, using all the energy he gained from Bide to deal massive damage to Fellow, leaving him in a critical condition! But for Fellow, things aren't done with yet...Until Jormungandr came crashing down, Bouncing on Fellow, dealing just enough to KO Fellow. The Magikarp is potentially closer to evolution! To round things off, Bella Luna fires off a Rock Slide at Jormungandr, but she misses the flopping fish, as the round ends.

Everyone's close to each other, only 2 metres separating each, as things get really interesting! What will happen next? Let's wait until actions are issued...

Anyway, I think that Larvesta seems the obvious target with a STAB Stone Edge on the team. Ao, you can start attacking her from up close where you all are now, by letting off two Stone Edges at her one after the other. Then, if they both hit Larvesta, then finish up with an Aqua Jet on Bella Luna. If not, use one final Stone Edge on Larvesta to try to actually hit it this time.

Jormungandr, you can use Bubble on Bella Luna to begin with. Then, Bounce up once more at the beginning of you second action, and don't come down until the last action, at which point you should go for Larvesta as well.
 
Ok Bella Luna what I need you to do is Shadow Sneak in front of the Stone Edges from Ao then hit Jormungandr with a Faint Attack! Equinox you're going to start us off with a Sunny Day and then double Solarbeam Ao!

Alright, so Athenodoros now leads 3-2 after taking out Fellow the Eevee in the previous round. Solstice sends out his final Pokemon: Equinox the Larvesta to try & take Athenodoros out. Will he succeed? Read on.

Jormungandr opens the round with a Bubble to Bella Luna! Bella Luna takes a number as Equinox uses Sunny Day to bring out the Sun! That's something Athenodoros didn't want...Ao is third & fires a Stone Edge at Equinox, only for Bella Luna to use Shadow Sneak to bodyguard Equinox, taking the damage for the Larvesta!

On to Action Two, & Jormungandr gains flopping momentum to Bounce into the air! He won't be coming down soon...In the meantime, Equinox absorbs Sunlight to launch an almighty Solarbeam at Ao, dealing massive damage! Ao launches another Stone Edge at Equinox, only for Bella Luna to use Shadow Sneak to bodyguard Equinox, only for the Stone Edge to miss completely.

Action Three, & Jormungandr comes down from the sky to make a big Bounce on Equinox, only to miss his target...So Equinox launches another Solarbeam at Ao, absorbing sunlight to deal another big chunk to Ao. Ao, who is tired of the Solarbeams, launches yet another Stone Edge at Equinox, this time hitting & dealing huge damage, over 40% of Equinox's HP to be exact. Rounding out the round, Bella Luna launches a Faint Attack at Jormungandr, whacking the Magikarp & dealing a number.

The four are reasonably close to each other near the centre of the arena. Bella Luna's 2 Shadow Sneaks were both very good moves, so I'll waive the energy fee for those two, as all four await their next set of actions...
