open challenge
4v4 multi battle (2 per person)
This isn't some pussy "I want to train my Pokemon!" battle. Use your strongest Pokemon.
DQ: 3 days (1 day is stupid, ESPECIALLY for a multi battle)
2 recovery 5 chill
Will accept this. I'm assuming its 2 pokemon per person per side?
Accepting your challenge!
[/I]
Accepting this battle. PMing my my mon to Flora.

Uhh, okay, I'm assuming the arena is up to the ref (I don't see one made). I'll just make it interesting, but nothing that will make one side superior to the other (and that would make my mind more messed up than it is).

ARENA: Normandy

Basically D-day, post-war (because you don't want your Pokemon getting shot, right?). There's a body of water for your water needs, sand for your ground needs, and grass for your grassy needs. Oh, and there are some pretty busted bunkers lying around the grassy areas too, but don't count on them for proper protection! There are old gun turrets lying inside the bunkers without any ammo though... but MAYBE a Pokemon can fill them with ammo?

Summary: No move restrictions. Water available, sand available, grass available, and broken bunkers around with ammoless gun turrets within.

Oh, no switching, no items, and all abilities.

ALSO DEAD CORPSES AND BLOOD EVERYWHERE

(e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) damage, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2).

Light Metal: (Innate) The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Priority is applied to the summed Base Attack Power of a multi-hit move (e.g. Double Kick has priority at 6 BAP, Skill Link Bullet Seed doesn't at 15 BAP.)

He enjoys rainy days, and I've been dragged out more than once to chase him.

CHANGE OF PLANS! I completely misunderstand what Deck wrote lol. So... Multi Battles are essentially unaffected.

Here's what we're going to do:

Char posted (did)
Nyx posts his Pokemon
Lupus posts his Pokemon
Venser posts his Pokemon AND orders
Lupus orders
Nyx orders
Char orders

Okay, let's get it!

Okay let's get this under control. Go Swells! Let's do this!

All right. Start off by enabling Sheer Force! Then, target the Masquerain with an assault of Thunderbolt ~ Flamethrower ~ Thunderbolt! However, if rain is ever present, use Thunder instead of Thunderbolt and Gale instead of Flamethrower.

Thunderbolt / Thunder ~ Flamethrower / Gale ~ Thunderbolt / Thunder

Nidhogg, annoy that Cyclohm!
Taunt- Glare- Toxic. If you are targeted by a Gale or Flamethrower on the second or third action, Mirror Coat it back to the sender,ut only once, to save energy. Oh, and enable Contrarian for good measure.

Shit,Masquerain, sucks to be outclassed all the time :[
Go for a solid hit on Serperior with Signal Beam! Then attempt to negate that flamethrower from Cyclohm with a Hydro Pump! Turn it to steam!
Lastly, let's use Double Team to set up 3 clones for next round!
Signal Beam>Hydro Pump to negate Flamethrower> Double Team(3)

We're kind of screwed.
Serperior is annoying. Let's Flamethrower ~ Gale ~ Flamethrower it.

edit: What's this Mirror Coat thing with Serperior? It's faster than me, so you have to move first. How are you going to know my move before you use yours?

It's cause, you know, you're shouting your orders to the Pokemon and I guess it hears it? I'm pretty sure that's how it's implied.

---------------------------------------------------------

ROUND 1: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!

Action 1

So we got the Allies (-Charmander and NyxNocturne) and the Axis (LupusAter and Venser). No backup though; you guys are ON YOUR OWN! Let's see who's gonna get blasted first!

Before any actions are made, Nidhogg activates his lovely Contrary ability!

Nidhogg: From the grassland, Nidhogg gives Cloud a quick rant about how broken he is. That is, an intimidating Taunt!
Cloud: Wins the Speed tie with Swells. Stimulated from the cruel hate of being isolated, Cloud advances from the beach toward the grassland and shoots a Flamethrower right onto Nidhogg!
Swells: Ignoring competition with Cloud for now, Swells goes across the beach toward the grasslanded Dave for a Thunderbolt! What shocking damage!
Dave: Despite being electrocuted, Dave keeps on flying, stays at the grassland area, and fires a Signal Beam at Nidhogg! Looks like Nidhogg's getting picked on!

Action 2

Swells: Wins the Speed tie with Cloud. With that in mind, Swells goes and gives Dave a toasty Flamethrower! He's burning! He's on fire! Wait, no he's not...
Cloud: Randomed 961/1000 for his Hurricane's accuracy. The Hurricane winds are summoned and they sweep across the deathfilled beach, but they were a bit lousy today, maybe due to the "bad" weather or because of God. Oops! That was a big miss! What a lucky Nidhogg...?
Dave: Too slow to Hydro Pump Swell's Flamethrower. Maybe if he was actually faster he would've been able to succeed at that! Since he's already been toasted, Dave shrugs off the hit and instead aims his Hydro Pump at Swells! This was a pretty light hit!
Nidhogg: Thinking the Hurricane was going to hit, Nidhogg attempts to put up a Mirror Coat! But alas, it was effortless!

Action 3

Nidhogg: Miserable about not doing much at all this round, Nidhogg Glares sharply at Cloud. The icy-cold glare deeply paralyzes the cloud dragon!
Swells: With Cloud paralyzed, Swell's always faster now! He electrifies his body into a extraordinary amount and Thunderbolts Dave into hell!
Dave: With burn marks scattered throughout his body and electric ringing through the wings, Dave knows he's in big trouble! He goes from air to ground to create three Double Team clones!
Cloud: Paralysis check: 319/1000. Safe! Cloud absorbs some fiery particles left from Dave's Flamethrower and makes his own Flamethrower that roams the air and scatters around Nidhogg! What an incinerating taste!

A3: Flamethrower (Nidhogg) > 10 + (5-3 x 1.5) x 1.5 = [20 Damage] [7 Energy]

Dave
A1: Signal Beam (Nidhogg) > 8 + 3 + (3-3 x 1.5) x 1.5 = [17 Damage] [5 Energy]
A2: Hydro Pump (Swells) > 12 + (3-3 x 1.5) x .67 = [8 Damage] [8 Energy]

A3: Thunderbolt (Dave) > 10 + (4-2 x 1.5) x 1.5 = [20 Damage] [6 Energy]

Sheer Force needs to be activated by words if you're wondering! (Just like with Contrary.)

Also, I "didn't allow" Hydro Pump to "cancel" Flamethrower mostly because Dave is just too slow. You're lucky I didn't just do "but Dave couldn't and did nothing!"

Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh; IDK how else to word it. Just... poor bug. =(

LupusAter
NyxNocturne
-Charmander-
Venser

Nidhogg, show the true Masquerain by hitting it with an Aerial Ace. Then Wring Out and Leech Seed Cyclohm. If a Flamethrower or Gale comes your way on the second or third action, Protect, but make sure you Leech Seed it.

Yeah, that was a total my bad :[
Poor Masquerain, why aren't you faster?
Anyways, let's go for another Signal Beam on Nidhogg! Then blast the enemy Cyclohm with an Ice Beam! And lastly, go for another Signal Beam on Nidhogg! There's not much we can do but try and provide some damage for Cloud to utilize!
Signal Beam Nidhogg>Ice Beam Swells> Signal Beam Nidhogg

Lupus, how can you sub Protect in? Serperior can't tell the future and has to move first, so you can't attack based on my attack.

Let's do Flamethrower, Gale, Flamethrower again.
If it's raining, use Gale on all actions.
All on Serperior.
If it's dead, use Twister instead.

I'll say it again, the Pokemon can probably hear your orders.

Let's get that Masquerain out of the way, eh? Make sure Sheer Force is still enabled first! Thunderbolt it, and follow it up with another. Then, if it's not dead, Flamethrower it, but if it is, Dragon Rush that Cloud.

Thunderbolt ~ Thunderbolt ~ Flamethrower / Dragon Rush

ROUND 2: Death... it comes to ALL!

Action 1

You hear that? It's the roaring voice of Venser's command! "ACTIVATE THAT SHEER FORCE, SWELLS!" And he does, with pleasure. He's shocking the arena now!

Nidhogg: With his swiftness, Nidhogg jumps right onto Dave for a slashing Aerial Ace! This hits the true one without any problems, making the clones dissipate into lost effort!
Swells: Swells joins in the fight against Dave and fires off an electrifying Thunderbolt! Dave is just getting screwed over and over again!
Dave: Look at him being a toughie! Dave absorbs ALL of the attacks and still lives on! With his limited time in the scene, Dave blasts a Signal Beam toward Nidhogg for quite some damage!
Cloud: AAAAAAARGH PARALYSIS! Blame the roll of 129/1000 man, not me! I DONT WANNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Action 2

Nidhogg: Sensing danger, Nidhogg puts up a quick Protect around himself for the action. How greedy! How selfish!
Swells: His eyes are only for you, dear Dave! Swells just constructs a Flamethrower that incinerates Dave into a fried bug! Now that he's fainted, I think I know what Swells is going to do next - EAT HIM!
Dave: too... strong... AAAAAAAAAARGH
Cloud: WTF PARALYSIS! Blame the roll of 67/1000 man, not me! Oh, I said that already... I mean, I would love to just crop out the text... but... I... am... a... RNG.... AAAAAAAAARGH!!!!

Nidhogg: Noticing his need and hunger for health, Nidhogg plops out some Leech Seeds from his mouth that connect onto the paralyzed Cloud. My goodness, isn't he plumped like the chickens nowadays?
Swells: With his dragon spirit, Swells rushes toward Cloud for hand-in-hand combat! POW! It hits pretty hard, but that's all it did really.
Dave: ded
Cloud: Cloud, you got 818/1000. Thank goodness! Let loose your mighty Flamethrower at the corrupted Nidhogg! BUUURN with all your strength! Too bad it didn't actually burn though...

At the end here, Cloud no longer fears Nidhogg's weak Taunt!

My sincerest apologies everyone :[
I'm here now though so no worries..
Anyways, I'm going to go with Sheldon, the Torterra!

Well attack with a powerful Earthquake! So look out Cloud!
Next we'll put up a Substitute(20 hp) and then spin up a Sand Tomb to trap up Swells!

Okay, sure. Enable Sheer Force, and then: Dragon Rush Cloud, and Gale that torterra. Then, if you broke the Substitute, Dragon Rush Cloud, but if you didn't, Flamethrower Torterra again.

Dragon Rush (cloud) ~ Gale (sheldon) ~ Dragon Rush (cloud) / Flamethrower (torterra)

First, regain health with a Overgrow-boosted combo of Mega Drain and Giga Drain on Torterra. Then, if you survive, Giga Drain Torterra if the sub is broken, or Aerial Ace him if it isn't.

Flora

Yep, that tasted purple!

ROUND 3: KILLING FIELDS

Action 1

*CLICK* *SHEER FORCE ACTIVATED*

And with that said, Cloud's ready to rumble!

Swells: Ready to battle, Swells gets in close combat with the other fierce dragon - Cloud! He rushes like a dragon and jumps onto Cloud madly! He rips cloud after cloud and soon enough, it seems Cloud just can't take it anymore! Still, with Sheer Force activated, there is NO flinching going on!
Sheldon: Not caring about anything, Sheldon just emits a large Earthquake that hits every Pokemon in the arena! Nidhogg takes some light damage while Swells and Cloud took some major damage! It also seems like parts of the bunkers broken down into... pieces! Looks like they'll never offer any proper protection ever!
Cloud: Thankful to not be haxed, Cloud whips up a nice draconish Twister from the ocean that eventually makes its way toward the arena and collects both Swells and Nidhogg into one! They swirl and swirl, until the Twister stops and suddenly, THWOMP! Both mons fell down right onto the beach! One mon was effectively destroyed by the twister - Nidhogg.
Nidhogg: Ultra Drain looks to be of ill effect, sadly, due to the negative priority that combos grant to balance them out. Oops!

Due to Nidhogg's fall, Leech Seed won't be sapping until LupusAter's next Pokemon is sent out!

Action 2

Swells: Swells is a bit too cool to not be effected from Nidhogg's disappearance! He calls upon the North Winds to grant him a nice, windy Hurricane! The winds sweep through the beach and smash onto Sheldon's hard shell with razor sharp blades! Aha, it looks like the volume of the winds dug deep enough to... wait, it can't confuse! Too much sheer force in here!
Sheldon: Being the uncaring dude he is, Sheldon just sets up a lovely 20% Substitute! How fitting for a big guy like him!
Cloud: Liking the Twister, Cloud begins another one! It looks the same. And it takes the same path! Swells goes awoawoowoo and drops down right on his three heads! That's gotta hurt!

Action 3

Swells: Seeing how the Substitute is there (mostly because he attacked first), Swells goes into a Dragon Rush against Cloud! Sadly, he was a bit too crazy here and hits a random tree instead! How was that for a miss? He breaks it down and it falls onto the ground! A new obstacle is thus created!
Sheldon: Laughing at Swell's move, Sheldon makes his way through the beach toward Swell's position and makes a Sand Tomb that wraps around poor Swells! Looks like he'll be taking constant damage for now on!
Cloud: Cloud attempts to move, but he feels the paralysis kicking in and is there fully paralyzed!
