Arena: Lake of Rage
The Lake of Rage, in Johto. There are no real restrictions on moves, but there will be rain on every day except Wednesdays (determined by what day the ref refs) unless the players choose something different, and there are Gyarados in the lake. If the players disturb the Red Gyarados in the middle he will use Dragon Rage against everyone. It is also surrounded by trees, which Pokemon can hide in or use for whatever they want. You could even set them on fire.
Per the agreement of the battlers, Darkamber8828 will send first for picking the arena.
Then -Charmander- will send his Pokemon and attacks.
Darkamber8828 will respond with attacks.
I will ref.

The Lake of Rage, in Johto. If the players disturb the Red Gyarados in the middle he will use Dragon Rage against everyone. It is also surrounded by trees, which Pokemon can hide in or use for whatever they want. At the Lake of Rage it's a nice, stormy, terrifying Saturday full of angry Gyarados and maddening radio turnes. The two opponents, -Charmander- and Darkamber8828 face off. Both release their Pokemon, Syclar and Palpitoad. In what is surely a freak occurence, both evolve at the same time. The battle is matching up between Syclant and Seismitoad! Frostbite and Squashy take their positions at the edge of the lake before the battle, both winded from evolution. A Red Gyarados looks around from the center with an ugly grin. Or maybe that's just Gyarados' face. The Gyarados roars angrily upon hearing my sleight. "SORRY!"
Squashy feels the Rain energize her and feels grealtly at east as she directs a massive Hydro Pump at her opponent. The soaking Rain enhances the column of water, and it blasts Frostbite with full force. That's going to leave a mark, folks. Frostbite retaliates with a Taunt, insulting Squashy in a language of insectoid words that sound oddly like "Yo Mama" jokes. Squashy is not amused.
Squashy jumps into the lake and summons a massive wave to crash into Frostbite. Undaunted, Frostbite has a menacing smile as it prepares a massive Blizzard. The icy attack chills the Rain and collides with the uncoming Surf, freezing a section of it before it hits Frostbite. Squashy avoids being frozen in the wave, and the attack washes in behind Frostbite's giant wave icicle. Both Pokemon manage to avoid damage.
Squashy reverts to a tried and true method of attack, generating another Hydro Pump. Frostbite prepares another Blizzard, but Squashy's attack is too quick and brutal for the frosty insect to respond. It takes the full brunt of the boosted column. Frostbite, feeling waterlogged, followes through with a second Blizzard and uses its keen vision to strike a direct hit on Squashy. With no natural resistance to Ice, Squashy takes quite a hit.
Both Pokemon stare each other down on the shoreline, in the shadow of the giant icicle wave Frostbite created earlier. The intense battle is just getting heated up. But somebody will eventually have to chill out.
End Round 1!
Arena:
Lake of Rage:
Both Pokemon stand on the shoreline of the Lake of Rage, roughly 10 feet from the water's edge. Inbetween them is a giant wave of ice crafted from the collision of Frostbite's Blizzard and Squashy's Surf. It is Raining. Gyarados is angry. Water is wet.

It's Deja vu at the Lake of Rage as the battle continues. Squashy sends in more water from the lake to drown Frostbite in Surf. The towering frozen wave is washed over again and begins to crumble from the new force. It breaks out from underneath Squashy and makes the Surf highly unstable. For his part, Frostbite looks on in terror as the unstable Water and Ice crash over both opponents, who both get in a bloody mess of Ice dents. Frostbite returns fire (or ice as the case may be) with another frosty Blizzard, further draining his stock of energy. It's beginning to wear on him, but his opponent is showing signs of weakening.
Squashy next spurts out another Hydro Pump, which strikes Frostbite with force for a third time. Drenched and angry, Frostbite focuses and massively increases its Special Attack with Tail Glow. Charged up, Frostbite prepares to battle with new vigor.
The round ends as it begins, with Squashy bringing up another wave of Surf to erode the coastline of the lake. Frostbite is charged and ready now though, but is overzealous and its Blizzard completely misses the mark. Fortunately the attack is so widespread and powerful that although it can't break through to hit Squashy, it instead flings him off the Surf wave, which is now frozen solid! Squashy and Frostbite are now both stuck on one side of a titanic sheet of frozen water. Access to the lake will not be easy.
End Round 2!
Arena:
Lake of Rage:
Both Pokemon are now stuck between the entrance to Route 43 below and a titanic sheet of frozen water blocking access to the Lake of Rage. It is still Raining Hard, but the cold rain leaves little chance for the structure to melt.

Blizzard: 19 Damage, -15 Energy
Hydro Pump: 19 Damage, -7 Energy

Surf/Blizzard clash: Surf was nullified, Blizzard rolled a miss, and instead of penetrating and doing damage it froze Surf creating the wall. -6 Energy to Seismitoad, -7 Energy to Syclant

The battlers are tired and weary, and glare at each other for what looks like a final showdown. Gyarados meanwhile is long forgotten behind the thick sheet of ice.
Squashy begins with a familiar attack. Problem being, all the water is behind her in the Lake of Rage. Trying to summon that water forth causes Frostbite to back away. He's seen this movie before. The Rainwater that coats the arena allows Squashy to summon Surf. Unfortunately for her, much like the last time she used Surf with the remnants of a frozen wave on the field, it doesn't take well to the additional weight. Frostbite for his part stands back in sheer delight as the wave of Water and Ice smashes into Squashy. Frostbite stands at the ready, compounding the damage with another Blizzard. The Syclant is very weary, but very pleased.
Squashy has a dizzying headache from smashing itself with its own wave, but musters up a Hydro Pump once more. The column smashes into Frostbite, possibly for the last time, as he prepares his final Blizzard. The chilling attack overwhelms Squashy, who keels over. Unfiortunately, all of the repeated Blizzards deplete Frostbite's energy, and he too faints.
The match ends in a draw!
