ivs: 3 HP

[Set Comments]

This set allows Houndour to attain the Speed of the Choice Scarf set while still having the ability to switch attacks, and when played in the right hands, it can be very destructive. Since Houndour's Speed is only decent at best, it appreciates the guaranteed boost from Flame Charge. In addition, Houndour still retains great coverage with just three moves. Fire Blast is a great STAB attack that does incredible amounts of damage to any Pokemon that doesn't resist or is immune to it. Hidden Power Ground pairs well with Fire Blast and stops other Houndour in their tracks. Dark Pulse allows Houndour to easily KO Slowpoke as well as give it a nice secondary STAB attack, while Sucker Punch grants Houndour a priority attack. A Timid nature is optimal but a Naive nature should be used if Sucker Punch is being used in the fourth slot. The EVs maximize Special Attack and Speed with the remainder boosting Attack and DefenseAlthough the 3 IVs in HP may look strange, they allow Houndour to hit 19 HP while retaining a full-power Hidden Power Ground.

[Additional Comments]

Because this set will easily lose to priority users such as Timburr and Croagunk, Misdreavus is a good partner. It can come in on a Mach Punch or Vacuum Wave without much trouble, and use Shadow Ball to destroy them (watch out for Croagunk's Sucker Punch) or begin to set up. Carvanha is another threat that will rain on Houndour's parade, so a Timburr or Croagunk of your own is a welcome addition. In addition to priority users, Pokemon with high Special Defense such as Mantyke and Munchlax stop this set in its tracks. For that reason, Meditite with ThunderPunch makes a good teammate, as it can handle both of the aforementioned Pokemon with relative ease.

Okay steal my set and put it up for QC lol
but in all seriousness, Naive sucks. You need Rash to OHKO Scraggy with with Flash Fire Fire Blast when you have Stealth Rock. 1 Speed point doesn't make as much of a difference.

Slash Dark Pulse first, allows you to kill shit like slowpoke and have a second stab etc.

Use +speed, since that really isn't THAT relevant of a calc and having 17 speed is nice for when you are unable to set up.

vanha can switch into anything and either aqua jet straight up or protect and speed tie/outspeed, add to counters.

Some parts were repetitive/duded here and there, but a nice job overall!
