The Courtroom-

The Courtroom is a rather large room inside the San Fransisco Court Offices. It is famous for having battles of the mind between attorneys like Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth. Due to it being a courtroom, while battling, either trainer get's a chance to use each of the various commands once.

To use the OBJECTION!!! command each trainer must post
games_pheonixWrightAceAttorney-objection.gif

If they do so, they will prevent one round's worth of actions for their opponent, at the cost of 10 Health and 15 Energy.

They can also yell the NOT SO FAST!!! command by posting
Not_so_fast--screenshot_small.jpg

If they do so, they will deal 10 damage at the cost of 10 Energy, regardless of what condition their Pokemon is in (so if the 'mon is statused, the command takes precedence).

Finally, a trainer can use the HOLD IT!!! command by posting
th_phoenix_wright_hold_it.png

In doing so, they will regenerate whatever Health and Energy they lost that round at the cost of not being able to use a round's worth of actions (so the opposite of the OBJECTION!!! command).

Be advised though, that this a match of wits, not brawn. Try to use Pokemon who can take advantage of this or else the Judge won't be happy!!

Alright, so p3 obviously has only 1 mon. Alch, if you would like to post your mons and actions, then we can have p3 follow up with his actions!

Ok I'll go with Dorothy, my new Misdreavus.

Start off with a Taunt, and then a Will-o-Wisp. Finish up with a Psybeam.

If, however, he chooses Prankster then attack thrice with Psybeam!

I'll be using Scrappy because I don't want to have to use Toxic/Confuse Ray damage to do anything

Alright, after discussing all this on IRC I think we've figured out how this stuff works

I'm going to start with an
games_pheonixWrightAceAttorney-objection.gif

OBJECTION!!!

(sorry Alch)

After that, based on what I've heard I apparently have 3 actions after that? If so, I'll use a Toxic to try to get a bit of damage. After that, I'll go for a Brick Break, but replace it with Toxic if the first one missed. Finally, use Taunt and hope Dorothy can't kill you too quickly with Psybeam!

If the command uses my first action, use Toxic - Taunt for the other two, regardless of if Toxic hits or not.

Alright, so finally after a long time of setting this round up, I finally got it finished.

HEY PALS!!! ROUND 1 IS STARTING!!

ani-gumshoe2.gif

My name's Detective Gumshoe, Dick Gumshoe. Tonight, I had decided to take a break to go get a donut, when a dame comes up to me and asks me about a murder that happened in a coffee shop. It looked like some crooks were up to no good. It seems like the suspect is on trial tonight and I think its time for me to check things out at the Courtroom. Let's see what is going on right now:

As I walk into the County Courtroom, I am greeted with a lively
games_pheonixWrightAceAttorney-objection.gif

It looks like a Prosecutor and Defense Attorney were in the midst of mental combat...wait what the heck are those weird animal things? They almost look like the Blue Panda that is standing outside the station...
Guess that the Prosecutor is having the advantage right now.

Pulling out a bunch of evidence, the Prosecutor has his animal show the Toxic poison that was found during the autopsy of the victim. Apparently there was a fight between the suspect and the victim, and during this fight, one of the two Broke a Brick, hurting the suspect. Finishing up his claims, the Prosecutor shows that the victim had originally Taunted the suspect into fighting him.

I see a lot of controversy going on in this trial. Let's see which side will be able to get to their objective. Will the suspect come out guilty or not guilty?

Alright, if he tries to use the Objection command, I want you to counter it with a HOLD IT! to restore any health he takes this round.

If he does not, I want you to start with a Confuse Ray, hoping to get some damage in. Then, go for another Brick Break. Finally, finish the round up by Yawning.

Hey Pals!!! Round 2 is Starting!!!

ani-gumshoe.gif

So I'm sitting in the courtroom. I recently finished eating my ramen that I worked sweat and blood to purchase. Good thing I brought it in my thermos to keep it hot. It was so hot when I ate it, that it reminded me about the heat that is going on between the Prosecutor and the Defense attorney.

Apparently, the Defense believes that the victim it was actually a Psybeam that killed the victim. He seems pretty insistent about it too.
He explained that because it was a very effective means of getting rid of the victim, it would obviously be the easiest way of doing so. His claim seems pretty solid too.
The Prosecution disagreed, though, saying that a Confuse Ray caused the victim to be confused, which allowed the killer to have enough time to attack him.
The Defense is still insistent that it was a Psybeam. I don't know what else to say about this guy, he's very insistent that this is what happened.
The Prosecution once again brings up evidence of a Brick Break. This seems like a pretty reasonable claim too.
It seems like this round of angry language is finishing up with another claim from the Defense that it was a Psybeam (man what is this guy thinking?).
The Prosecution Yawns. It seems like this is going to be a really boring trial after all...

<Acklow>: are you able to post in your match against p3?
<Alch>: Nope, browser is still messed up sorry :(
<Acklow>: want me to convey your actions anyhow?
<Alch>: If you can tell me the situation ?

-I PM him the info via IRC (i.e. Dorothy and Tom's Stats/Health/etc.)-

<Alch>: How about: Objection + Not so fast, Psybeam thrice. If he uses Hold it, then use my lowest-energy attack thrice
<Acklow>: instead of Objection and not so fast? (if he uses hold it that is)
<Alch>: Yes
<Acklow>: okay

So from what I could gather, Alch wants to use Objection and Not So Fast, along with Psybeam x3. If you use Hold It, he wants to abstain from Objection and Not so Fast and use a low-energy attack instead.

porygon3, your move.

Bumping.

If 9 hours (start of tomorrow for me) passes without actions being posted, I call on Acklow to DQ my opponent.

Regrettably calling the DQ for porygon3...

I get 2 RC for this.
Alch gets 2 TC and his Misdreavus gets 1 EC & 2 MC (I don't think she has a DW Ability, so...)
p3 gets 2 TC and his Scratchet gets 1 EC, 2 MC, & 1 DC.

Sorry Alch that it had to end this way.
