Oh no, there’s a fight breaking out in the Pokemon Daycare Centre! What happened!?

Deadfox081: Puncha, why are you crying?

Puncha: Timburr *sniff burr :/

Deadfox081: What!? That’s outrageous! Frosty!

Frosty: What is it, Deadfox081?

Deadfox081: My little Puncha here tells me your Munchlax stole and ate his juicebox! He ate the whole box!

Frosty: No, Puncha must be mistaken. Hector would never do such a thing! Frankly, I’m offended that you would even accuse my baby Hector of anything! He’s so well behaved!

Deadfox081: That’s very unreasonable! Look at my poor Puncha, he’s so thirsty. Just have Hector apologize and we can get on home for supper.

Frosty: Never! He didn’t do anything wrong!

Hector: MmmmmmmUNCHLAX :D!

Frosty: See, Hector says he didn’t do it. So that’s that.

Deadfox081: Well then, we’ll just have to find another way to settle this [/controlled rage].
BATTLE ON!

Arena: The Pokemon Daycare Centre

That's right, a little fight has broken out in the garden of the day care centre. Of course only Little Cup eligible Pokemon are allowed to be in the garden, so every Pokemon in the battle must be able to evolve and must be first stage. There is a small pond in the garden, some short grass and the ground is soft and able to be dug. The rest of the centre's little Pokemon have gathered to watch but won't interfere in the match. That does mean that moves like Earthquake and Surf are banned so no one hurts the cute spectators.

Please don't shake the babies.

Puncha is still really upset about his juice box, so he's bringing his Guts with him to take on whatever you can throw at us!

I could send out Hector to solve this problem (...you crybaby), but it doesn't need to prove anything to the likes of you. So come out Saria with Poison Point.

Allrighty Saria, this mean guy is pestering your friend Hector, so let's teach it a lesson. Before anything disable poison point so the Timburr doesn't have another reason to whine. After that its NAP TIME, so put it to sleep with Sleep Powder. Then use Extrasensory to maybe put its head in the right place and finalize with Shadow Ball, because...you know, babies like to play with balls and trip and fall.

Oh and if it refuses to go on NAP TIME, force it to by using Sleep Powder repeatedly.

Disable Poison Point
Sleep Powder - Extrasensory/Sleep Powder - Shadow Ball/Sleep Powder

Ok Puncha, time to show these bullies that you're no push over.

If you can manage to avoid that Sleep Powder then I want you to Taunt her, saying anything as filthy as you like. If we can pull that off then she will be stuck trying (and failing) to put you to sleep for the whole round! Then you will be free to fire off your best Focus Punch, and finish off with a Bulk Up to get us ready for next round. It however she does put you to sleep, then just use Bulk Up if you wake up this round, and if we're really lucky and you still have another action left you should use Drain Punch. Give it your best and I will be sure to get you a brand new juice box when you win!

Summary
Taunt > Focus Punch > Bulk Up
IF the first Sleep Power works THEN Bulk Up > Drain Punch after you wake up.

Adults behaving like toddlers to solve their toddlers' problems? Something tells me we could've skipped a step! Anyway, the greatest mystery of our generation and quite possibly the next is underway! Saria looks to avenge her friend Hector's honor by putting Puncha down for a mandatory nap with Sleep Powder, which puts it into a Deep Sleep! Everything goes quiet for a second before, FWAP! The snoozing Timburr is send head-first into the ground by Saria's Extrasensory abilities! And Puncha slept right through it (what a toughie)! Finally, Puncha opens its eyes and lets out a huge yawn. It looks confused, like it doesn't know what's happening; however, a Shadow Ball to its face reminds it that it's still mid-battle, so it Bulks Up to prepare for the rest of the fight!

Ok Puncha, that round didn't go great for us but I'm sure we can pick it up from here.

I want you to start off with your Rock Slide attack. There should be enough little rocks lying around in the playpen for you to make use of. Then use your Dig attack to hit it hard, and finally finish off with a Rock Slide again!

If she tries to put you to sleep again then replace your current action with Detect, but whatever you do don't try and Detect on successive actions.

Actually, I am starting to think that putting an opponent to sleep is way too boring and kinda cheap, so I will go the other semi-stupid route.

Start by using Worry Seed to make it less gutsy and more worried, you know, like it should be considering the circunstances. After that, ITS TIME TO BE YUCKY!!

Saria and all the babies: YAAAY!!

...ahem. Uh, just use Sludge Bomb x2, k?.

Okay now that Puncha is rested up, it’s time to get some real daycare shenanigans going on. Saria starts the round by launching a strange Worry Seed at Puncha that explodes into a gross-smelling cloud of green dust! All the little baby Pokemon turn to each other and snigger, while Puncha gets a little red in the cheeks. Too embarrassed to sleep, Puncha’s ability changes to Insomnia somehow! Embarrassed by Saria’s prank, Puncha lays down a Rock Slide on Saria and frightens enough of the spectators to shut them up. Then Saria lets loose with a Sludge Bomb that Toxic Poisons Puncha before it Digs underground and pops back up moments later for a good amount of damage!

"Quit messin' around in my garden!" Yells the Daycare lady from the window, but she doesn't have a garden anymore, just a dirty trench, so no worries!

Saria, momentarily distracted, follows this up with another Sludge Bomb and eats another Rock Slide right back! What a high-octane little scuffle, huh?

Remember that when Poison Point is disabled, all poison attacks inflict toxic-poison, which starts at -1hp, k?

That being said:

Good job, Saria! As adorable as ever!

The garden is already ruined, and I know you still have some ammo, right? so keep going with Sludge Bomb. After that use Extrasensory to smash its head right on the toxic dirt. Finalize with another Sludge Bomb.

Nurse: "But...my garden!!"

"Bah, we promise to replant it after this is done with, right Saria? Besides, think of it as...fertilizer, ok?"

Oh I actually didn't know that, so thanks. I've edited the post to give Puncha those 2 HP back.

This is the opportunity we were waiting for Puncha, she's going all out offensive so I need you to just calm yourself and Bide. The energy we release on the third action is sure to gain you your first knock out.

"Just what in the world do you folks think you're doin' out here!?" wails the Daycare Lady as she slams her determined feet one-by-one across the lawn towards the garden-turned-battlefield.

"It's okay, ma'am," says Frosty, who is very polite, "We will replant your garden when I'm done teaching Deadfox081 a thing or two about character assassination."

"Oh so I guess it'll never get replanted, then!" shouts Deadfox081, who is bad at comebacks.

"Look, I know I'm old and frail and weak, and a pushover at times" says the Daycare Lady, "but if the lot of you don't clear out of here real soon, I'm calling Officer Jenny, and she'll put a real stop to you!" She storms off into the house, her cries remaining audible for quite some time.

Frosty breaks the silence: "Saria, keep going with a Sludge Bomb!"

The crowd of baby Pokemon cheer as they remember that they were watching a fun and exciting battle and not just getting yelled at by the Daycare Lady! Saria's Sludge Bomb connects and Puncha responds with... hmm he's just sitting there. Saria pauses, but when Puncha refuses to retaliate, Saria slams him into the grimy, poisony mud with an Extrasensory attack! Puncha unsticks his face from the mud and wipes it off. Ohh he must be mad now! He'll probably unleash some... he just sat down again. Has he given up? The smirk on Deadfox081's face would suggest not, but why is Puncha just taking this beating? Saria, not taking time to think too hard about it, strikes with another Sludge Bomb! Puncha looks real hurt now; he just took a beating while Toxic poison slowly chipped away at his health! He has to do something!

"Puncha!" yells Deadfox081, who then lowers his voice so as to sound really badass, "It is time."

With that, Puncha rises from the mud like in slow motion, with fists clenching, veins nearly bursting, its favorite wooden beam splintering under the intense energy emanating from its body. "What is this?" everyone collectively thinks. Several spectators run crying from the battlefield, others simply shield their eyes. A slight breeze breaks the silence of the aghast crowd when, all of a sudden, Puncha lets out a great yell and shoots an explosive beam of energy at Saria, Knocking her Out cold! Turns out Puncha was just Bide-ing its time for the right moment to strike and took out half the yard as well! Incredible! Uh oh, here comes the Daycare Lady again, and she looks off her rocker! The attack might've knocked out Saria, but it's left Puncha in dire straits and at very low health and may have put a whole business out of commission! How long can Puncha hold on after such a big move?

Daycare Lady: "And you,..and your sludge bombs what are they!?"

"Oh Shut up"

Okay Hector, apparently this Timburr really wants to get even with you, so let's give it what it wants.

Go Hector the Munchlax with Thick Fat

That's just the guy we wanted to see Puncha. I thought KOing Saria might have been a near suicidal effort but I know we can still do an awful lot of damage to Hector before you go down. I bet you'll be happy to get some payback on mean ol' Hector anyway, and having your guts back makes you even more powerful against him.

You're faster than him (then again who isn't?) so start off with a Drain Punch to heal off a little damage. Then use his massive bulk (or should we stop beating around the bush and just say fat) against him with a Low Kick. Finally, if you're still standing, hit him with another Drain Punch!

"Yes...fat...right. You are a bit naive, you know? Maybe that is why you believe in your Timburr so blindly"

Puncha gets off his knees and pulls back his fist, preparing for an oh-so-sweet, revenge-filled Drain Punch! He lunges at Hector with ferocity and thirstiness and overall Guts, like a true warrior, and launches a-- FWAP!

"In that case, Canas, remove the illusion. They have figured it out."

Start by using Protect to get a feeling of the opponent's strategy. In a match like this one, intel is everything. After that show the opponent your unholy cuteness with a couple Dark Pulses.

Also, if you hear Mr. Deadfox ordering the karrablast to use X-scissors, or if you see it shaping a X in any way, prepare yourself to counter it.

Hmm, if only we had a nice boosting move to take advantage of that premature Protect. You should just go ahead and aim your Bug Bite at the tricky one to begin with, that will at least force him to waste some energy. Then you can keep on slashing away with your Fury Cutter twice.

Chris Angel be damned, that was Canas the whole time (maybe Canas stole the juicebox?)! All the remaining spectators ooh and ahh in amazement, but then all sort of realize that the Puncha-Hector matchup won't be happening today and are a little disappointed. Oh well. Both trainers have now moved on to their second Pokemon and are ready to commence battling! The Daycare Lady is charging at the competitors, stereotypically, with a rolling pin, with white hot rage exploding from her eyeballs!

"DANGIT I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE!" she bellows. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A LAWN ANYMORE!"

"Uh-oh," says Frosty, "Looks like this match is going to be over real soon."

"Oh, wow, she is mad," responded Deadfox081. "I was really looking forward to getting you back for that lame Illusion move."

Fortunately for our competitors, a team of onlookers Bellsprout, Oddish, and Cottonee all Stun Spore the raging woman at once, causing her to fall motionless on the ground! Too bad they missed her mouth.

"YOU ROTTEN POKEMON I'MMA KICK YOU ALL OUTTA HERE MYSELF, I TELL YOU WHAT!"

Everyone shares a good laugh at the Daycare Lady's misfortune and the two trainers get right back into the swing of things. Canas, abandoning the Illusion that it was Hector, takes precautionary steps by Protecting itself behind a magic barrier just in time to block what would surely have been a devastating Bug Bite from Lanca. Chris Angel be damned again! With the protective barrier gone, Lanca lunges forward through Canas's Dark Pulse and nails it with a Fury Cutter! Canas, rattled a bit, scoots backward to gain some distance, but Lanca lunges forward again for another attack! Canas fires off another Dark Pulse to try and keep the little bug away, and it works! Lanca, unable to brush off the attack like last time, Flinches and forgets what it was doing!

Lanca tries to Leer at Canas to further frighten the injured fox, but he's just so darn upset after that Taunt that it can't do it! "we need to distract Officer Jenny....now where is Brock when you need him?"

"Oh well, Canas let's continue the battle. We'll figure out something for the officer when time comes".

Start with another Dark Pulse and go for the flinch. Your energy is very low and we can't afford too many counters. After that prepare yourself to counter the opponent's move. Even if he uses a weak one, its high attack should still make it sting a bit, so get ready! Finalize with another Dark Pulse. This will probably be your last round, so do your best, ok? You've done great so far.

Oh, and before I forget, If it uses X-Scissors on the first turn, use Counter instead of Dark Pulse and Dark Pulse instead of counter on the second turn. Like this: Counter - Dark Pulse - Dark Pulse.

so:

Dark Pulse - Counter - Dark Pulse
If X-Scissors is used on the first turn:
Counter - Dark Pulse - Dark Pulse

Hmm, I really need to get you a Special Attack Lanca. Oh well, we can work around this strategy for now though. Start off with a Bug Bite, because that still does huge damage to this frail illusionist. Then use Faint Attack to limit the damage he is able to Counter back at you. Finally finish off with your patented X-Scissor. By my quick calculations that one should be just enough to KO him, provided we can avoid a flinch that is.

Bug Bite > Faint Attack > X-Scissor
