[Overview]

When people mention Ralts as one of the weakest pokemon in Little Cup it is not an overstatement. With pathetic stats the only role it can accomplish is to sacrifice itself. Even though it has a somewhat large movepool only some of those moves can actually be utilized in battle before it faints. Luckily, it can learn Destiny Bond which can take down its opponent with it while also setting up Trick Room quite nicely. It also has a handy ability that can be abused when it copies Water Absorb or Volt Abosrb giving it immunity to some attacks.

[Set]
name: Destiny Room
move 1: Trick Room
move 2: Memento
move 3: Destiny Bond
move 4: Protect
item: Focus Sash
ability: Trace
nature: Relaxed
evs: 212 HP / 76 Def / 156 SpDef
ivs: 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 0

[Set Comments]

This is the only set that Ralts can successfully accomplish without support from others. When leading with Ralts, Trick Room is the primary move that it should aim for before it faints from battle. After successfully activating Trick Room, Ralts can either choose Memento or Destiny Bond as it can't do anything else but sacrifice itself. With Memento, it hinders the opponent completely useless giving you a free turn since they would likely to switch out. Destiny Bond can be used effectively if the opponent uses an attacking move and takes down an important member of their team while you only have to sacrifice Ralts. Protect avoids the use of Fake Out from the opponent so Focus Sash can still be utilized or it can be used to get a glimpse on what set your opponent is using.

[Additional Comments]

Ralts is not able to achieve anything else except this. The EVs, IVs, and nature is to ensure that this set is used effectively with good results. Ralts can't function properly without Focus Sash so if your not leading with Ralts it is recommended that you lead with a taunter to prevent hazards. Although, this set would work best if Ralts was the lead. Trick Room abusers such as Munchlax, Makuhita, or Clamperl are obviously the appropriate teammates to take advantage of Trick Room.

[Other Options]

With most of its moves being completely useless, there isn't a lot of options to choose from for Ralts. Eviolite can significantly increase its defenses but even with one Bug Bite can annihilate Ralts. It is possbile to have Hypnosis in the set but due to the low accuracy the chances of actually making the opponent sleep is as near to slim to none. Pain Split can also be used but Destiny Bond is more suitable for Ralts.

[Checks and Counters]

Priority moves can eliminate Ralts before it uses Destiny Bond or Memento. Entry hazards such as Stealth Rock or Spikes hinders Focus Sash completely useless. Status effects like burn or poison can also hinder Focus Sash useless and weather changers such as Snover also adds more problems for Ralts. Taunters can completely ruin everything forcing Ralts to struggle or switch out.

212 HP / 76 Def / 156 SpD Relaxed 0Speed IVs is a better spread, because maximizing HP is much better than maximizing SpD, and the EVs in the defenses allow Ralts to take hts at elast somewhat better on both sides of the spectrum.

Also, Encore is a better option in the last slot, as Ralts, even with some defensive investment, is not going to be taking enough hits to make Pain Split worthwhile.

I'd slash in Memento before Hypnosis in the 2nd slot, as a 60% Hypnosis is not very reliable, and Pokemon such as Scraggy can circumvent the effect entirely and threaten Ralts with a STAB Crunch.

hngggg more work

Mention Protect to get around Fake Out, probably over Encore. Taunt could also go over it, since it prevents people from setting up just like Encore, but also forces them to attack, guaranteeing a Destiny Bond kill...as long as they don't switch.

Ralts gets Calm Mind, Psychic, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Ball, and Hidden Power, as well as Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Wish, Pain Split, but due to completely shit stats, it can't use any of them very effectively. Mention Eviolite, as Ralts can take SOME hits with it, and it makes it not auto-fucked by Weather/Hazards/weak attacks.

[Checks and Counters]
-Any pokemon can defeat Ralts
While this not an exaggeration, you can't actually say that. Priority users can get around Destiny Bond, and Fake Out especially can break sashes. Hippopotas and Snover break sashes with their weather, and hazards can do it too. Natu cockblocks Ralts very hard with Magic Mirror, and Taunt from Gligar/Misdreavus/etc does much the same.

Once that's done,

Encore+Destiny Bond+Memento is illegal, you're stuck with Protect in that last spot and having Destiny Bond and Memento is too good to give up.

That's pretty much it, Ralts can't do much else.

General Comments

1.
It could be because I like to use commas, but you should put more in,
and there were several spots where a comma was definitely needed, such as the sentence regarding Bug Bite.

2.
Hinder (v) - to obstruct ex. I hindered him by standing in front of him
Render (v) - to cause ex. Swords were rendered useless by guns.

3.
Regarding the set, I added Lead because I think you meant for the set to be played as a lead.
And I added a suggestion for another idea regarding teammates. Rephrase as you see fit.
