This doubles battle is about to get underway, why the trainers chose a bedroom for the location I will never know though. Polonski the Voodoll starts us off by using his giant needle to apply some Acupressure to himself. He picks the right spot to hit too, because his Special Attack just rose a buttload. Molly the Zubat doesn't let the tight confines of the indoor arena stop her, as she swoops in nice and close to Kardel with a Hypnosis attack that puts the Embirch into an Intense Sleep! Beau the Ivysaur also likes this tactic and uses Sleep Poweder to put Polonski into a Deep Sleep of his own! Now would usually be Kardel's time to act but he's far too busy snoozing away in the corner.

Polonski likewise misses his next turn to act, but Molly takes full advantage. She swoops down on Kardel with a Brave Bird attack that does huge damage. The hit didn't come without its downsides though, not only did she damage herself a little in the process but it appears to have woken Kardel up a little. Beau thinks status is awesome, so he shoots some gunk at Polonski that causes him to come down with a case of Toxic Poison. Kardel might have been woken up slightly by the last attack, but hes definitely not lucid enough to atack yet.

Neither is Polonski, as he finishes off the round sleeping once more and having done no damage what so ever. Molly likes dealing big damage, and does so with another Brave Bird. Unfortunately for her this one wakes Kardel up completely. Beau also lauches a hard attack at Polonski. He uses a Venoshock to tap into the poison running through the Voodoll's veins, making the attack even stronger. It does huge damage but also manages to wake Polonski up in time to prepare himself for next round. Kardel takes the chance to finally do some damage for his team, and his Flame Charge not only hurts Beau but also acts to increase his own speed.

The battlers look to be getting down to business for this second round of the match, and it begins with Polonski unleashing his Psychic energy onto Beau, hitting him super effectively. Kardel likewise aims at Beau, this time with an Ember attack. Molly keeps on hitting super effectively, with his own Air Cutter on Kardel. Beau finally finishes off this highly damaging round with another Venoshock at Polonski. The attack does good damage but its repeated use may end up wearing on the Ivysaur.

Beau still wants to continue with his big guns, and begins the second action by opening the bulb on his back to absorb all the sunlight coming in the bedroom windows. Polonski shows off his Normalizing skills by somehow turning his Dark Pulse into nothing but neutral energy. It appears to have worked well however as it hits Beau critically. Kardel then launches Leech Seeds at Molly in an attempt to regain some of his dwindling HP. Molly immediately makes him require those seeds, with another huge Brave Bird hit. Finally Beau is able to release all the stored energy, with a Solarbeam aimed right at Polonski!

The Voodoll responds quickly, with another Psychic attack at Beau. Then Kardel decides to end all this messing about, and unleashes an Overheat at Beau and knocks him right out. The move seemed to have left him significantly weakened for further attacks though. Molly seems unmoved by her team mate going down, and lulls Polonski back to sleep with another Hypnosis that sends him into an intense sleep, aka the entirety of the next round.

Terrador wastes no time in thanking and recalling Beau, and sending out Nappa the Haunter to take his place for what should hopefully be a very good incoming round for his team.

Nappa joins the fray and he and Molly seem set to take control of this match. The Haunter kicks this off by aiming a Shadow Ball right at Kardel that hits with just enough force to knock him out. Polonski is too busy sleeping to be helpful, while Molly decides to make a Substitute to take damage for her. A smart tactic to prepare for the future rounds.

Terrador's team goes onto full offence come action two, and a combination of a ThunderBolt and an Air Cutter are enough to knock Polonski out too.

pimpgangster is forced to recall both of his Pokemon, before immediately sending out his last team member, Barbossa the Privatyke. He has a fearsome name but coming in on two confident and prepared opponents may be a little too much for him.

Certainly right about the sub, I always forget to take that out because I don't note it as damage in my summary. Also Molly is actually on 40 EN thanks to a miscalculation I made in the previous round, that I only just noticed.

Barbossa emerges from his Pokeball to start this round and he really doesn't like what he comes out to see. Nappa and Molly immediately gang up on him, and each unleash some super effectiveness. Nappa uses ThunderBolt while Molly does big damage with another Brave Bird, and in fact Nappa's hit has paralyzed the poor Privatyke. Barbossa tries to respond with a Rock Slide but he only manages to hit Nappa in his worried state.

The second action doesn't look any better for him, with Nappa using another ThunderBolt, and even Molly's weaker attacking option in Air Cutter is boosted thanks to a critical hit. Barbossa frantically tries to mount an offence, and this time his Rock Slide does hit both opponents but I'm afraid it may be too little too late.

Nappa fires off a fourth consecutive ThunderBolt, if it weren't for this match being at its pointy end the building energy cost could really have come back to bite him. Its a more than safe tactic this time around though, because Molly's next Brave Bird attack brings Barbossa down, and he had just about no impact on this match. This match, and pariticularly that last round, was a dominating display of sheer thuggery by Terrador's team.
