Building Process

Well I Started with my old Wi-Fi Ou Team (Mixed Scarftar, Band Scizor, FatChomp, Wish Bliss, Specially Defensive Forry, and RT Physically Defensive Gyarados).

Now as i'm building for post chomp i can't run Chomp myself and as i plan to keep tar and Bliss Dory is a non-option so that leaves Landorus as my new Abuser.

Next i needed something to protect my entry hazards and since i had Suddenly Developed a Weakness to Water Moves Jellicent does a Great Job of Fixing these issues sorry Dos.

Now I wanted something with offensive presence and an EdgeQuake resist there are 2 options while also Furthering type Synergy Virizion and Loom; Loom was my initial Choice Due to far better Power.

A few moveset tweaks later we have what you see in the following until as i feared loom was just too frail thus came Virizion.

However Credit here to Iconic For Helping Me with this Landorus was canned as to handle Excadrill, Terrakion, and Loom among other better using Gliscor.

@ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Taunt

Physically Defensive SD Gliscor. Gliscor checks/counters so many importiant pokes in this Present meta it is almost funny, Swords Dance is to allow for some Offense from this team slot (i can't lose too much momentum), EQ is the main and Reliable STAB move for Gliscor, Ice Fang allows Gliscor to hit grass and Flying types, Taunt is for stopping things from setting up against Gliscor. The EVs allow Gliscor to outspeed max+ tyranitar (tough why non-scarftar would have that much speed is beyond me) the rest goes into maximizing Physical bulk.

Optional Changes: Fling could be used over Taunt as to remove Toxic orb as a weapon to be used against this team, if Fling is used Acrobatics is also an option as if the user is without an item as Gliscor would be after fling its base power doubles from 55 to 110.

640.gif
@ Leftovers
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Leaf Blade
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Swords Dance Virizion my First Setup Sweeper and EdgeQuake resist. Swords Dance Provides a useful +2 Atk for a Sweep Close Combat (my main STAB move) + Leaf Blade (my secondary STAB) + Stone Edge (covers Flying types) provides excelent coverage and make it easier to break things like Zong who other wise could give Gliscor some issues. Also the IVs are 30 HP/30 Def.

Optional Changes: Bulky SubCM OVer The Present Sword Dance Set.

248.gif
@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 212 Atk / 44 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam

My Mixed Scarftar. Fire Blast with the Special Attack investment allows me to 2HKO specially Defensive Skarm, ice beam is for Dragons and Gliscor, Crunch is the more Reliable of tar's 2 main STAB options, Stone Edge is Because of hitting Tran, Gyrardos, and Thundurus, as well as just providing Excellent coverage alongside Crunch.

Optional Changes: Hippowdon though the Type Synergy would require a fair bit of reworking in which case.

593.gif
@ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Surf
- Recover
- Taunt

Physically Defensive Jelicent my spin blocker. The Speed EVs are to outspeed and burn then taunt SD Scizor, the rest went to physical bulk, Will-O-Wisp is great for Crippling physical attackers, Surf is for avoiding the dreaded Taunt, Recover is a reliable way to get HP back, and Taunt is to Keep Statupers art bay.

Optional Changes: None ATM.

242.gif
@ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Toxic
- Protect
- Seismic Toss

The Ultimate Special Sponge Blissey. Wish and Heal Bell keep my team hale and hardy, Protect allows Blissey to receive its own Wishes, S-Toss allows it to not become taunt Fodder. The EVs maximize Physical Bulk as its Special bulk is already amazing though if Rain returns Full Force (AKA the Swift Swimmers are retested and only with the intention of banning the broken ones only) i'll go over to the 252/80/176 bold Gen 4 Uber Spread that copes with that meta much better.

Optional Changes: Ice Beam over Seismic Toss.

205.gif
@ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Volt Switch
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock

Specially Defensive Forretress my Spinner/hazard platform/Scout. Toxic Spikes are Probably the most annoying Entry hazard in the game Poisoning its victims when there is one Layer badly Poisoning them When there is 2, Stealth Rock is the most used hazard in the game as it is so powerful and easy to setup, Rapid Spin keeps my field clear of hazards, and volt switch allows me to escape Magnezone and build momentum.

Optional Changes: Gyro Ball over Volt Switch (though i need to double Switch around Zone then).

Offensive Threats.
Ani286MS.png
Breloom - Can't touch Gliscor and dies to Ice Fang.
609.png
Chandelure - Blissey can take anything it can throw at it and stall it out with Toxic + Wish, tar can take it out with Stone Edge though it has to watch out for WOW.
638.png
Cobalion - Tyranitar's Fire Blast and Virizion's CC both Cleanly 2HKO.

Conkeldurr - Gliscor Beats it with Taunt + SD + EQ.

Landorus - Gliscor walls Rock Polish (non-HP ice) just as well as it does tearrakion and swords dance loses to tar's Ice Beam.

Latios - Tyranitar can come in on anything bar the odd surf (or trick specs though in the early going none is going to just toss their choice item) and 1HKO with Crunch, non Psyshock/LO CM sets get toxic Stalled by Blissey.

Coming Soon; Closing Comments and Progress on the Threat List.

Also remember any Additions to the Threat List will have to go without Pics and furthering the Building Process will also force me to remove pics from the Threat list as i'm at the 100 image limit as it stands.

also the threat lists are concealed within hide tags as to be merciful to people with poor internet connections.

I'm going to be super obvious here and say you should be using Gliscor over Landorus. Excadrill is going to absolutely tear you apart, especially Adamant LO versions, since you're just begging it to set up in front of Blissey or Forretress. After a Swords Dance, Landorus and Virizion fall to Frustration, and everything else gets boned by Earthquake. Breloom is another huge issue because you have absolutely nothing to switch into it, so it can Spore, Sub up and go to town against half your team. So yes definitely use 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe Impish Gliscor in Landorus's place since Poison Heal lets you stomp all over Breloom and you beat Excadrill quite handily with Ice Fang and Earthquake. If you want you can even use a Taunt / Swords Dance version to give you a somewhat similar offensive presence that Landorus provided.

You'll also probably make a lot more use out of Stone Edge instead of Superpower on Tyranitar. The reason being is that you're incredibly weak to Thundurus, and you can't be relying on Ice Beam (which does max 65%) to try and take it out. Superpower isn't necessary for other Tyranitar either especially if you have Virizion to take Crunches, Gliscor/Landorus to eat Superpowers, etc. Also, I'd suggest trying Toxic over Heal Bell on Blissey, since Blissey should be the only one on your team to take opposing status (so Heal Bell is really unneeded), while Toxic will help a lot against stuff like Roost Latios and Morning Sun Volcarona.

You're still kind of Terrakion weak. Gliscor helps a ton against Rock Polish variants, but if it has Swords Dance you're kind of screwed. I mean, Double Dance Terrakion screws over most Sandstorm teams, so if you find yourself losing against it too often, you could always try going back to Breloom and giving it Mach Punch. Even something like Conkledurr or Scizor can be used over Virizion, although personally I don't think it's worth losing your team's second fastest member. If you keep Virizion, you should probably use Hidden Power Ice over Stone Edge though, since Zapdos is quite rare and Thundurus won't like taking repeated Hidden Power Ices, and I think the ability to take out Gliscor is more useful than whatever Stone Edge is doing for you now.

i really need to start paying more attention to a threat list while i'm building and not just the synergy checker otherwise wouldn't leave these odd holes in my teams that really shouldn't be there. i'm likely going to end up using a bulky SD Gliscor set as i need some offensive presence out of that slot as i can't afford to lose too much momentum there, i'll test put toxic over heal bell (on top of those reasons it is kinda redundant with Poison heal Gliscor), i'll test HP Ice though i'm kinda concerned about losing the option to cripple Physically Defensive RT Gyarados and outright KO others, i'm not too concerned about double dance as it either gets RP where it loses to Gliscor or i just stall for LO and hopefully Toxic damage (if forry gets the job done or it comes in on Blissey).

well thanks for the rate i'll see what happens (this should help immensely).
