ROUND ONE:

Hello, and welcome to this exciting match between Rediamond and Terrador14! This match will take place in the.....ASB tournament Arena! Lately this arena has been swarmed with battles from trainers who are too lazy to come up with their own arenas. Since the Tournament Arena is so over-packed, we needed to move these pokemon to another arena. However, we found a battle to terminate, and now this battle can take place in Tournament Arena Z!

On the left, Rediamond sends out Gumshoe the Grimer, while Terrador sends out Cyndel the Stunky! Cyndel starts the battle by creating a Substitute to protect itself from the incoming attacks. The Substitute sits out in the open, baiting the Grimer, while Cyndel hides. While Cyndel was creating the Substitute, Grimer digs a small hole into the ground. His slimy body slides into the hole, and then comes popping back up, almost breaking the substitute.

Stunky then creates a dark aura between the two pokemon, and uses his dark nature to use Grimer's power against itself. The more slime thing is hit by its own, enormous power. it responds by covering the Substitue with its body, breaking it, and leaving Gumshoe in its place.

Stunky finishes by creating another dark aura, and slashing Gumshoe for significant damage. The slime thing recoils from the hit, and decides to stop some of Stunky's dark aura's. He enters Stunky's dark mind, and Disables him from using Foul Play. Now, Gumshoe doesn't have to worry about that anymore.

Good job, Grimer. Now that our only notable threat is out of the way, let's begin this for real.

Dig~Mud Bomb~Dig

If he is behind a Substitute on Action Two, switch Mud Bomb to pound.

I'm fairly sure that sub is legal. If it isn't, the original actions are fine.

Substitute (25 HP) ~ Dark Pulse ~ Night Slash

Apparently he forgot the very valid possibility of me having a sub that can withstand Dig + Pound...

ROUND TWO:

Welcome back to this exciting match in this not so exciting arena! Rediamond and Terrador14, masters of toxins and poisons, are battling in the Tournament Arena, training. Who is the superior Poison user, who's Poison pokemon will be intoxicated first? Let's find out in the exciting Round 2!

Stunky starts the battle by creating a 25 HP Sbustitute, which apparanetly, according to his calculations, is enough to survive the assualts of Gumshoe! Gumshoe decides to do the same thing as before, and slowly digs a ground into the hole. He slides his body into the hole, and soon he is under the Substitute. He pops up, and the Substitutes gets a bit rattled from the damage.

From his hiding spot, Cyndel fires a Dark Pulse through the air. It slams into Gumshoe, and sends the slime thing flying. Gumshoe responds like he did before, using Pound to break he Substitute. Happily, he jumps onto the Substitute, hoping for it to dissapate like before. However, it seems that this Substitute is stronger, and the poor Gumshoe must still destroy it.

Stunky attacks the Grimer once more, with a slash like the night, splitting the slime thing. He continues to dig a small hole in the ground, and then slides into it. He goes undergorund, and reaches the Substitute. He pops up, and the Substitute finally dissapates, revealing Cyndel. This is getting to be a close battle between the two Poison masters, now lets take a look at the stats!

It seems that Terrador has chosen to use much energy creating Substitutes. Although it has saved him some energy, I am questioning their value. Grimer has 8 less HP, but a whopping 30 more energy. It seems at this rate, Stunky is going to get pretty low on energy. Let's see what Terrador can do to make up for this, and how Rediamond can take advantage of it! Maybe, Stunky's Stench ability might even activate, saving the match.

If Grimer uses Disable, replace the Disabled move with Foul Play wherever applicable!

Dig times three. Provided no flinches occur, this is our battle for the taking due to one very large oversight on our opponent's part that means that close actually counts.

ROUND THREE:

Welcome back, to Round 3 of this match between Poison masters, Terrador14 and Rediamond. Let's continue our battle coverage.

It seems that this round, both trainers decided that they needed some major damage! Cyndel fires a pulse of darkness and Grimer, leaving him darkened. Gumshoe goes underground, and pops up directly below Cyndel, sending him to the other side of Tournament Arena. He slashes Gumshoe with the power of the night, and Gumshoe goes underground yet again. He pops up on the other side, and Cyndel goes flying. Once again, they switched sides. Now, Cyndel sends another pulse at Gumshoe, still failing to flinch him. He simply goes underground again, and pops back up on the other side. Now both pokemon are extremely low on HP, yet Cyndel is faster than Gumshoe. Does Rediamond have some secret plan, or will he lose his Grimer to the power of the night? Continue watching this exciting match to see it finish, and find out who is the true Poison master!!

Hmh. Grimer's going to be a serious consideration for my team when he evolves. Good game Terrador. And one definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result. With that, see you at the gym battle.
