Type: Steel / Psychic
Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Priority is applied to the summed Base Attack Power of a multi-hit move (e.g. Double Kick has priority at 6 BAP, Skill Link Bullet Seed doesn't at 15 BAP.)

The little night cat beings with a soothing Yawn, putting a timer on Beldum's ability to fight. Trying to exercise off the fatigue, Beldum Iron Heads Purrloin right where it hurts, scoring a Critical hit! Purrloin responds with a Night Slash, and almost manages to damage Beldum's skin. But the little iron missile had been preparing for this moment, and responds with a Zen Iron Head combo, dealing massive damage to the ferocious feline. It seems the effort tired him out, though, as Beldum now falls into a Deep Sleep. Purrlion responds with another Night Slash, finally scoring a Critical hit of her own. Beldum continue to rest off the damage, but its time in Dream Land is not over yet...

Beldum is still a sleeping target, so Purrlion takes the initiative and Night Slashes it. Just as Beldum is about to wake up, Purrlion Fake Outs Beldum, preventing it from moving, even though it woke up. Purrlion finishes the round with another Night Slash, pushing Beldum back. Beldum closes that distance in a split second with a Take Down, and even manages to hit. Not bad for a metal slug!

Purrlion beings with a flattering Encore. It seem that Beldum just can't help itself as it is forced to Take Down Purrlion. The black get gets right back up, however, and Slashes with a dark power. The hit doesn't even seem to daze Beldum, who bounces right back with another Take Down. It sure is lucky that all of its attacks are hitting! Purrlion finishes up with another Night Slash, but not before Beldum can pin Purrlion against a wall with Iron Head. It might have a difficult time moving next round if it can't get free!

Oh trust me, cats backed into a corner don't react well to this kind of thing.

Purrlion uses a lightning fast Combo Attack of Fake Out and Night Slash, trying to finish off Beldum before Beldum can knock Purrlion out. Unluckily for Alchemator, that Fake Out has a Set Combo Type, making the entire attack a normal move that easily bounces off of Beldum's hide. It does stall the inevitable with a flinch however. But the iron slug recovers next action, and Iron Head's Purrlioin for the win!
