arena: The Temple of Crypt-Myth-Zoo

"Look at that Truffles! What could be up there?" Glacier upwards as they were trekking through a forest. The Mamoswine raised he head lazily, and grunted in reply. Glacier gave him a dirty look. "Be positive silly. It looks like an abandoned building on the side of a mountain. Maybe there's gold!" the teen exclaimed, and his pokemon just rolled his eyes. Glacier was always making his pokemon go to extremes just to find old junk. "Maaaaaaamo." Truffles whined, suggesting that they should just stick to the path. But Glacier had a one track mind at times, and this was one of them. "Let's roll!" He yelled, steering Truffles into a course that led them up the rocky slope.

"Mamo?" Truffles murmured as they got up to the top. Glacier got off of his mamowine in awe, never taking his eyes off the place. It wasn't an abonded building like he had thought, it was a ancient temple, forgotten but now found. Glacier gave a squeal of excitement. "Truffles look at this stuff!" he called to his buddy as he ran carelessly through the open temple field, poking and touching pillars, columns, and other things he shouldn't have poked. Truffles gave a sigh, and then stepped into the borders of the Temple.

It all happened in a flash, literally. A white light suddenly consumed the Mamowine, and the column across from where Glacier was started to glow. There were pictures on the column of pegasi, and half of them magically leapt off the column! Glacier watched in awe as the pictures floated gracefully thorugh the air, and merged with the light. as soon as they did though the light turned pale yellow, and a whinny of a horse could be heard from inside. "Truff-ff-l-les?" Glacier spoke in syllables, too nervous to talk correctly. another whinny was heard and suddenly two huge tan wings spurted from the top of the light orb. Then in another flash the light was gone.

"What?" was all Glacier could say. Truffles the Mamoswine looked perfectly fine- except now he had wings. "What is this!?!" the teen cried, touching the soft feathery down from one of the wings. "Mamo-neiiiiiigh!" the Pokemon called out, and with a look of glee took, soaring high around the temple. as if this was some movie Glacier started laughing, screaming, "He can fly! HE CAN FLLLLLLLLY!" and that was when he was interrupted.

"So thats what the Temple does." Another teen, though more built and stoic, commented from behind Glacier. Glacier turned aorund to see not only Travellog, the owner of the mysterioius voice, but Lyris as well! "What are you guys doing here? and what happened to Truffles?" the nervous teen asked, and Travellog gave a comforting smile. "No worries, Truffles will be fine. Ref our match and i can tell you everything." Glacier gave a grumble, but he nodded. "WELL GREAT LET'S GET TO IT." Lyris bellowed out in a volume that could even bust Mamoswine's ears (even though he was 200 feet in the air), and she grabbed Travellog and tossed him into place. "Jeez women." he murmured spitefully, and Glacier just shrugged his shoulders. "Alright guys, begin!"

Lyris has said one ability, and items are on.
Travellog gets to say if there is switch or not

Travellog will send out his first pokemon
Lyris will send her first pokemon out and give actions
Travellog will give actions
i will ref (and try to get truffles to stop flying)
etc etc etc

Good luck you two! (literally! i RNG which creature your pokemon will be mixed with, so i hope you have good luck!)

EDIT: you dont need to send in abilities. just do the other parts

2exoh.png

You're up Cid! (If abilities are needed, I'll be using Sheer Force).

Edit:
Alright: Switch=OK
Also, Cid will be using an Expert Belt.

You forgot switch method, TravelLog!
Go, Aquarai @Cheri Berry with Torrent!
Open with Taunt, then use Aerial Ace, and finally use Night Slash. If Protect is used A1, use Taunt A2.

2exoh.png

Let's teach this upstart some manners Cid.

Sheer Force is Enabled
Thunderbolt~Discharge~Thunderbolt

IF Aquarai would become a type not weak to Electric, change your actions to Power Gem~Hyper Beam~Signal Beam

um guys, i'm pretty sure the arena says this in its description, but each creature will give your pokemon an ability (e.g pegasus will give you serene grace). since lyris selected one ability cid will not have sheer force but will have the ability of whatever he is combined with. and "aquarai" will not have "torrent", but the ability of the creature she is combined with. thats why i edited myself and said you dont need to say abilities.

if that wasn't clear, i apologize for thats my fault and i need to make that more clear next time someone uses the arena. also, the round will be up shortly

Round 1: Transformations and Adaptations

The two Trainers simultaneously throw their poke balls into the air, and with a whoosh of air and red flash of light two daunting pokemon enter the battle field. a sneaky Zorroaaku and a stoic Cid! They look at each other and with a snarl and a roar they charge, but before they make contact two columns in the Temple bursts with light, and the pokemon become surrounded!

The mystical force of the arena is altering them like it did Mamoswine! The columns suddenly fizz out, smoking gently, and the light disperses to reveal- WOAH! The Pokemon look somewhat similar, but there are some obvious differences. For example, Zorroaaku now has wings! They are a dark blue-green, and they match her body which turned that color as well. Her fur is gone, now replaced with firm scales, and she seems a bit more refined! That's right folks, Zorroaaaku has been given the powers of the mighty Wyvern! (Her Typing is now Dark/Dragon, She now knows the moves dragon breath, dragon claw, and hone claws, her ability is cursed body, and she can fly)

Cid has changed as well! Instead of staying on all fours Cid has reared up like an attacking bear, and his two faces have taken on the appearnce of a twin headed bull! Yup, Cid is now part Minotaur! With his new bull vision he spies the dragon-fox and is suddenly filled with rage. he MUST rip this new enemy to shreds. (His Typing is now Electric/Fighting, He now knows brick break, head smash, and head charge, has rank 5 attack, and can only use attacking moves)

With a draconic cry Zorroaaku sticks out her now reptilian tongue and shakes her tail, Taunting the already hot-headed Cid! The act makes the beast even angrier than before, and he decides to use a Power Gem attack! light flies from Cid's source, and it crashes into Zorroaaku, making her release a bellow of pain.

Taunt: Zorroaaku -9 energy, Cid is taunted
Power Gem: Cid -5 energy, Zorroaaku -9HP

The dragon-fox launches herself into the air, and then with grace even pegasus-mamo didn't have she swooped down low, swiping Cid with an Aerial Ace! Cid however was ready though and as she was flying towards him he started charging his Hyper Beam! As soon as zorroaaku flew past Cid aimed and fired, taking the scaly pokemon by surprise with the powerful attack.

Aerial Ace: Zorroaaku -4 energy, Cid -8HP
Hyper Beam: Cid -10 energy, Zorroaaku -17HP

The chatty pokemon we know as Zorroaaku cries once again in fury, and then channels dark energy into her claws. with her wings gathering wind she glides across the field, gathering speed as she finally makes contact and gives Cid a nasty Night Slash. Cid however is unamused and launches a sheer powered Signal Beam! The hit does more damage than the others (minus the hyper beam), and Zorroaaaku crashes into a column, ironic enough its one covered in pictures of minotaurs. Will this dragon be able to keep up with the beast's strength?

Night Slash: Zorroaaku -4 energy, Cid -12HP
Signal Beam: Cid -6 energy, Zorroaaku -16HP

Travellog you're up!

Quick question, did you remember to add the +2 BP to Signal Beam (as an SE attack) due to Expert Belt?

Well now. Let's use that extra force of yours for some real fun.

IF Brick Break is disabled due to Cursed Body, use Dragon Tail A3 instead.

Now that it's the Fighting-type, let's play around with this Duclohm, shall we?

Round 2: Rage! Fury! Rage! Fury!

Cid starts this round by snorting and banging his fists together! Then with a battle cry he charges Zorroaaku, and slams her down into the stone floor with a brick break! Zorroaaku though has a trick up her wings, and she relaeses the Counter she was holding up, channeling all of the pain Cid brought into her attack!

Brick Break: Cid -5 energy, Zorroaaku -25HP
Counter: Zorroaaku -14 energy, Cid -38HP

Using her speed now Zorroaaku gives a wail, and her eyes glow purple! Cid feels a pain in the back of his head, and then suddenly WHAM! He falls forward from the mental blow, and he's a bit dazed! Not too dazed by the Extrasensory however to launch a deadly Signal Beam at the dragon, which hurts a lot!

Extrasensory: Zorroaaku -6 energy, Cid -17HP
Signal Beam: Cid -6 energy, Zorroaaku -16HP

Tired of the tom-foolery, Zorroaaku screeches and flings her tail with haste! She's whipping up quite a Torment, and Cid takes it! In fact, he's too outraged to attack!

Torment: Zorroaaku -9 energy, Cid is tormented
Brick Break: Fails
