177.png

Natu(*) X (F)

Nature: Mild (Adds * to Special Attack, Subtracts * from Defense)

Type: Psychic/Flying

Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:

Synchronize: (Innate) Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison types cannot be poisoned and Fire types cannot be burned in this manner.
Early Bird: (Innate) This Pokemon is used to waking up at early hours or operating in low-light conditions and subsequently suffers from sleep status for only half as much time as other Pokemon.
Magic Bounce (DW): (Innate) (Locked) This Pokemon has a Psychic sense that allows it to ward off non-damaging attacks as soon as they are launched, directing them back at the opponent.

Blazikenmaster-Zeo, your actions, please. Then Ziposaki's.

Lets get the Chinchou out of the way

Steelface- Taunt, Ice Fang, Shadow Strike
Zubat- Zen Headbutt- Giga Drain- Shadow ball

All 6 of these moves are directed at Chinchou

EDIT: My abilities are Cursed Body and Inner Focus

A white-cloaked girl steps into the arena. Her face is stoic, as are the Pokemon trailing her. One is a Psychic Pokemon with small wings, its steps synchronized with hers. It' s expression is identical with it's trainer. The other, an Angler Pokemon, is a lot more animated, absorbing all of the light and tiny electric charges and volts in the air. The girl steps to the trainer's section, her Pokemon scurrying ahead of her. Finally, she speaks.

"X, Psychic Zubat, then Confuse Ray the Kitsunoh the Psychic the Zubat." she says, her voice devoid of emotion. "L, Scald Kitsunoh, Thunderbolt Zubat, then Scald Kitsunoh."

In summary: Natu: Psychic (Zubat)>Confuse Ray (Kitsunoh)>Psychic (Zubat)
Chinchou: Scald (Kitsunoh)>Thunderbolt (Zubat)>Scald (Kitsunoh)

I'm assuming I should pick my ability.

Alright, Ziggy the Arcanine, it's good to go for walks every now and then. Yes, I know we're taking a walk to the ASB Tournament arena, where we lost thanks to untimely hax. I like to think of it as a reminder of how we need to improve. Hey, looks like a doubles match is about to take place, but I don't see an official to ref it. I'm sure they won't mind if I ref these guys...

Okay, so it's X the Natu and L the Chinchou going against Tabba the Zubat and Steelface the Kitsunoh. Ziggy growls, clearly thinking that she could roast all the combatants. As I remind her she isn't allowed to do that, Steelface starts throwing insults at L, Taunting her. She gets so enraged that she and X launch their special attacks at their opponents simultaneously, L Scalding Steelface, causing a burn, and X using Psychic on Tabba. Tabba retaliates by attempting to Zen Headbutt L, but misses.

Steelface, in hopes of cooling down his burn, leaps forward and bites down on L with Ice Fang, and it looks like the ice helped heal the burn just enough to do critical damage! X hopes to defend her partner by launching a Confuse Ray, enough to Severely Confuse Steelface! L then opts to go after Tabba this round, firing off a super-effective Thunderbolt, man, Tabba is being ganged up on! He responds by gaining some health back by means of Giga Draining L's health, restoring some back.

Steelface moves in one more time, hoping to use his signiture move on L, but he forgets how, and hurts himself in confusion, oh dear. That doesn't bode well for team BMZ. X and L take advantage of the situation, launching the same attacks from before, Psychic on Tabba, and Scald on Steelface, respectively. Tabba launches a Shadow Ball at L to finish off our first round of action.

Stay here, Ziggy. I'll check on the combatants, see how everything's going. You keep an eye out, make sure no arena officials get in our way.

The girl easily responds, "X, Psychic that Zubat, then put up a Reflect. Proceed to Confuse Ray that Kitsunoh once more. If Kitsunoh Taunts you, switch your moves to Night Shading twice. L, Thunderbolt Zubat, then Scald and Thunderbolt, both at Kitsunoh."

Alright, the officials are being kept at bay by my Arcanine Ziggy, so we can continue this match, but let's make it quick guys, before my fire dog seriously hurts someone!

Steelface continues the action by seemingly melting into the ground, reappearing in X's Shadow, and Striking at X, dealing some solid damage. X responds by firing another Psychic blast at Tabba. These repeated assaults are really taking their toll on the poor bat, but it looks like Tabba's troubles are far from over, and L shoots a Thunderbolt out of her antenae, which is more than enough to down the eyeless bat, Tabba has been KO'ed!

Steelface, now alone, makes an unusual choice in moves by Taunting X, enraging the bird. I'm not sure I would have done that, but Taunts are always fun to watch. X retaliates by Night Shading Steelface, taking off a good chunk of health. L finishes up the round by shooting more Scalding hot water at Steelface.

Steelface sees that he needs to deal more damage if he's gonna fight his way out of this predicament, and ShadowStrikes at X again, who can only just sit there and fire off another Night Shade at Steelface. L once again brings the round to a close, this time with a Thunderbolt.

While Ziggy is busy roasting park officials alive, let's see how the combatants are holding up;

The girl is already packing up. "X, Night Shade thrice. L, Thunderbolt thrice." She then leaves, not waiting for the match to end. Meanwhile a piece of paper flutters to the ground near her opponent. It reads:

...Do we really have to do this? The match isn't even over yet.Well dur! Of course we do! Doing it now just speeds up the process. So, good game, and sorry for Saki. X? ...Good game, I guess.

Okay guys, let's wrap this up. Ziggy kinda got overzealous and now the building is on fire.

Steelface goes in one more time for his signiture attack, ShadowStrike on X, hoping to bring the match down to a 1v1, but unfortunately he has no such luck. X survives, and Night Shades Steelface again. L then fires off yet another Thunderbolt (everyone likes spamming moves when I ref them) at Steelface, and the poor thing has simply taken too many hits, and he falls over, Steelface has been KO'ed! That means Blazikenmaster-Zeo is out of usalbe pokemon, Ziposaki wins!
