#dreamworld, Smogon's official pokechat. **Important update, PLEASE READ POST #6/7**

#dreamworld is BW's version of #stark, with challenges (often held on a specific ladder), tournaments, cups, and pokemon-centric discussion. We welcome all to come by to chat, chill, and relax.

The standards for the channel are the following:

1.) It is irc, so we recognize social chatter will occur. This is fine, and we even encourage a light hearted environment. All we ask is that IF pokemon discussion is currently going on, don't sabotage it with non-related discussion. As it is irc, it will inevitably be social, but we ask that you try your best to keep at as focused on Pokemon as possible.

2.) Be civil, and use your common sense. Not much to explain here...just use common sense guys.

3.) Note that #dreamworld's authority is determined by active, intelligent discussion. It isn't determined solely by either, but some slightly arbitrary and mostly subjective combination of both.

Bloo: Just talk in the channel, remain active, and be both civil and intelligent, and you'll find yourself moving up the ranks in no time ^_^

Yea, there are always people ready to help you with whatever questions you have regarding Pokemon or Smogon. This is the best way for you to get to know other members of the community and a great way to contribute too. I recommend anyone that's interested in Pokemon or just want to have a good time to take part. If you have any problems using IRC or any other technical related problems, you can send me a message here on the forums or on Smogon server and I'll be happy to help. Hope to see everyone there!

Be aware that #dreamworld goes through periods of activity, and tends to be most active when it's evening in America, so timezones do matter. Don't be disheartened if you log on and nobody's talking, just lurk for a while until the chat picks up again.

This takes absolute priority over anything. I am looking for coders to help out #dreamworld. PM me here or on the forums for details. Coders are preferably experienced with either javascript or python. ~ Aldaron
