* Outclassed by Taillow except for Wish.
* Kind of sucks.
* Lickitung plays Wish support better anyway, it just doesn't get FeatherDance.

[SET COMMENTS]
* Taillow is better on the offensive, so Pidove can attempt to use a support set.
* Somewhat outclassed by Lickitung but it beats Scraggy.
* Okay defenses give it 21 / 18 with Eviolite.
* You can use Roost, but it makes Pidove unable to beat Scraggy or pass Wish.
* Big Pecks makes Pidove immune to Defense drops.
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
* Use something better.
* You can use Hidden Power Flying if you like the accuracy more than the flinch rate.
* You can use Aerial Ace which kind of sucks.
* Gets a ton of good support moves (Roost, Morning Sun, Toxic, U-turn, Lucky Chant, Taunt, Hypnosis, and Bestow (if you have Knock Off on your team you can use a Choice item))
* Ferroseed can set up hazards and take Ice / Rock / Electric moves.
* You can use Super Luck as your ability.

* Choice.
* Work Up.
* Tail Wind.
* A better Pokemon.
[Checks and Counters]
* Chinchou can hit it with Thunderbolt and resists Air Slash.
* Lileep can take any of its hits, set up on it, and use Toxic on it.
* Ferroseed and Dwebble completely set up on it. The latter can even hit it with Rock Blast.
* Staryu can come in on anything and hit it with Thunderbolt or Ice Beam.
* Anything that uses special attacks beats it.
* Anything that isn't hit super effectively beats it.
[Dream World]
* Rivalry is always risky and pretty bad. However, Pidove has two other terrible abilities, so it doesn't really matter what you use.
