WarioWare.jpg

An artificial environment with no external water source or natural grass. Digging and seismic moves are allowed. Weather is allowed.

At the beginning of each round, the ref will give a task to the participating pokemon to perform during the round. It can be anything as long as all active pokemon can feasibly accomplish it (eg, use non-STAB moves only). Any pokemon that fail to complete the task take damage equal to 1/4 of their max HP.

Here's the teams...

"Hmm, this is going to be interesting. I believe Lava Plume followed by Seed Bomb and another Lava Plume should do the trick. Oh, and if Whoosh gets tricky and tries to make us lose with its Confuse Ray and you hurt yourself on Action 1, change Action 3 to Leaf Blade. This should be fairly easy to complete."

Summary:
Lava Plume -> Seed Bomb -> Lava Plume; if hit by self in confusion on Action 1, change Action 3 to Leaf Blade

Hmm, I was looking for a way to both succeed and make you fail, but I don't know that it's quite possible. Might as well just make sure the task is accomplished.

ROUND ONE: Here We Go!

Opening Round, Whoosh vs. Septimus Heap. Let's see...

Septimus Heap opens the bout with a Lava Plume, blasting the whole area in a wave of fire which scorches Whoosh. Whoosh responds with a Brick Break, whacking Septimus Heap with a strike of his hand.
Not to be outdone, Septimus Heap goes for a Seed Bomb, firing a bomb of seed at Whoosh for more damage! Whoosh then strikes with Fury Swipes, slashing Septimus Heap twice with his claws.
Last action was a carbon copy of the first, Septimus Heap blasting the place with Lava Plume, & Whoosh striking with another Brick Break.

Both Pokemon pass the task with flying colours, as they get ready for the next round.

ROUND TWO: Well...

Well...Time for Round 2, is it? Okay.

Whoosh opens by using his Prankster skills to let off a quickfire Confuse Ray, firing a peculiar ray at Septimus Heap which hits & makes Septimus Heap look dazed, but not dazed enough to stop an Earth Power making a piece of earth detonate from under Whoosh for some damage & beginning to rack up what could be potentially a huge damage bill for the match. *Sigh*
Whoosh continues to be cursed by the No STAB restriction & uses Stealth Rock, being loaned some rocks from the reasonably big crowd that attended today's contest. Whoosh then infuses them with a mystical energy & chucks them over to Dummy007's side which then seem to wait...This goes without a hitch as Septimus Heap is too disorientated & whacks his head while trying to use Swords Dance.
Final Action of the round & Whoosh takes a temporary breather & Roosts off some damage as Septimus Heap snaps out of his confusion & goes for another Earth Power, dealing more damage to Whoosh through detonations.

Septimus Heap's Earth Power doesn't go well with the crowd as they start booing to the point where Wario himself has to temporarily vacate his seat & wallop Septimus Heap for some pretty hefty damage. Wario returns to his throne, as another spectator yells out a challenge.

You guys should know how a Switch Phase goes, so I won't bother with reminding you guys.

Ok, this is a great time to switch actually. Very happy with Woosh matching damage with a second stager AND getting rocks up. Time to let Splat get something done.

And I also get to act first for accepting the switch, so lets get down to it. The new weight class additions are going to be our friend here. These should do a nice truckload of damage without even thinking about SE attacks.

Yeah, it's been 5 days now so I think I'm gonna have to call DQ. If you could give the closing remarks when you're available IAR.

Bit of a shame, I'm a fan of the arena too.

Alright, calling DQ. Sucks, though, next time Dummy, just post in the thread if you're going to be unavailable; Not everyone pays attention to Signatures. deadfox081 wins by DQ.

PRIZES
I get 2 Ref Tokens
deadfox081 gets 3 TC
Whoosh & Splat gets 1 EC, 2 MC, & 1 DC
Dummy & Co. gets nothing.

That's all. Shame...
