DF44 vs Texas Cloverleaf

"This could take forever," Red said, shuffling through the cards that told him the competitiors in the battle.

It can't be that... oh. His Gardevoir glanced over his shoulder, quickly reaching the same conclusion.

"Well, more reason to get this going now I guess."

Magnemite [Paul] (N/A)
Nature: Sassy (+1 SpD, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)
Type:
Electric/Steel: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments. Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Abilities:
Magnet Pull (Can Be Activated): This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. The effect of both commands lasts for the following three (3) actions. Steel types cannot switch out in a Switch=OK battle while a Pokemon with Magnet Pull is on the field without the use of Baton Pass, U-turn, or Volt Switch.
Sturdy (Innate): This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
Analytic (DW) (Innate): If this Pokemon attacks after its target during an action, its attacks have two (2) more Base Attack Power.

As usual, I pledge plenty of sarcasm and pop culture references, and reliable speed. I might have to cut flavor once or twice to meet DQ, but I will try to avoid this whenever possible.

Texas, Dogfish, some "Rediamond" scrub.

Leech Seed, Ingrain, Swords Dance

If Magnemite uses Flash Cannon replace current action with Disable and scale remaining actions.

Round One: ZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPP

Magnemite starts off the round like any good sniper. He locks onto his target, figuring out any possible way he can take him down. He aims for the heart, head, stomach, throut, tonsils, and gall bladder of his foe. After all, he needs to be prepared for absolutely any clever evasive manuevers that his foe could possibly make in any circumstance. This list includes, but is not limited to, Dodge, Evasive Agility, Fly, Dive, Shenanigans, Tom-Foolery, Sand Attack, Double Team, Minimize, Teleport, and Barrel Rolls. Realising that he was living in the crosshairs, he does what any politician would do in this situation. He leeches onto Magnemite and starts to leech away all resources he has.

Magnemite is less than pleased, and lets Cacnea know his opinions in the only way possible. With a ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP. While the attack is normally slow moving and incaccurate, Magnemite is a trained sniper who had taken aim, allowing him to succesfully connect to Cacnea with over nine thousand Volts of energy, paralyzing him. Cacnea realizes that all attempts to run are futile, so he does the only sensible thing: dig into a hopeless position and fight! However, the voltage in the ground comes up to him hard, paralyzing him further even as it raises his health.

Magnemite is tired of these stall tactics, and creates a large shockwave of sound and energy that barely hits Cacnea. In fact, it would have missed if Cacnea hadn't been dug into one place, unable to dodge. However, the lose of ASB physics state that the move still does ten damage regardless. Cacnea doesn't seem too phazed, and lives out every boy scout's fantasy: playing with large, pointy, sharp objects.

EDIT: Heh. And you thought I was serious?

Cacnea

Great, stall "woo".

Pity I have 0 Recoveries due to the fact that 1v1's should be fast paced. That covers Ingrain and Leech Seed as well, sorry Rediamond :(

Those count as recoveries? Crap

At any rate our dq fails anyway as I'm going up to my cottage this weekend so I'm gone until Sunday night.

Round Two: And the cannons steel flare, the bombs bursting in air

After realising that the ref was trolling, Dogfish orders his Magnemite to go to a rather extreme length to harm his foes. He gets a cannon. After loading and aiming said cannon, it fires off a metallic orb that rams into Cacnea, doing a fair bit of damage. Cacnea doesn't like this, and causes vines to grow up into the cannon, effectively blocking the cannon from working.

Magnemite tries to fire. And tries again. And keeps trying. And then he rages. After all, it's a steel AND electric type. If IT can't get his tech to work, there is no hope in the world. The sheer volume of its RAGE deals some damage to Cacnea, sending it back a few feet where she does the only logical thing to do against someone with RAGE. She pulled out a sword, and performed some overly epic spinning thing with it, boosting her badass levels to over nine thousand.

Magnemite realises that he's going to need to make his next shot count, so he locks and loads, preparing a headshot like no other this forum has ever seen. Cacnea realises that the only good way to counter a gun is with a bomb. So, she spits out a seed that causes an awesome EXPLOSION that still deals good damage through the steel typing due to the sheer badassery she's built up.

Cacnea

Other: Paralyzed (15%), +3 attack

Round Three: Warning: Crazy Train references ahead

Magnemite abuses his epic aim to give Cacnea a heavy does of good ol' rock and roll!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ABOARD HA HA HA.

As the awesome guitar solo starts, Cacnea's mind is blown, forcing her to subcomb to the awesomeness and go CRAZY!!!

Ay ay ay.

Cacnea starts flailing on the ground, unable to comprehend what is going on. Her sharpened thorns deal a particularly large amount of damage as she starts to go completely insane.

Crazy. But that's how it goes.

Magnemite follows up his prior success by shooting off yet another blast of sound, further adding to the rock concert he's created and dealing more damage to Cacnea just by the earsplitting volume.

Millions of people living as foes.

Cacnea preforms the only move she seems capable of using: more power boosting with sharp, pointy objects and plenty of spinning. Because everything's cooler with spinning.

Maybe it's not too late.
To learn how to love
And forget how to hate

Magnemite begins to spin in sync with the music, growing more and more powerful as he shoots off electricity in response to the awesomeness in a series of powerful arcs as the music grows in intensity.

Mental wounds, not healing.
Life's a bitter shame.
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train.
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train.

As the guitar solo kicks back up, Cacnea snaps out of her madness, and shoots off a barrage of powerful seeds at the stereo system, smashing it into pieces and ending our brief entrance into the awesome dimention. Oh, and Magenemite took some damage in the explosion.

Round Four: TOO SOON!

Magnemite starts to chill out, relaxing after the crazy awesome rock of the last round. Cacnea isn't quite so chill and blasts out a powerful Seed Bomb at Magnemite, shouting loudly in Arabic. This is quickly followed by the ref calling about twenty thousand protesters to Texas' house for being insensitive. It's only been ten years. Can't you tell that it's TOO SOON to be joking about that. God, sometimes these politically incorrect people get to me...

Magnemite decides to get onto the "lol let's laugh about terrorism" bandwagon and fires off his own bomb at Cacnea, who replies with... more bombing... STUPID TERRORISTS. THE BUILDING IS OVER THERE!!!

Magnemite strategically plans his own terrorist attack in the name of stopping terrorism while Cacnea fires... another bomb of seeds.

Magnemite
HP: 13
Energy: 41
Other: None

Cacnea
HP: 18
Energy: 2
Other: Paralyzed (5%), +3 attack

Round Four: Why you read the rules.

Cacnea tried to chill, but forgot chills were banned. Come to think of it, so did Dogfish. Red quickly negated the last chill, and gave both a five energy penalty. This pushed Cacnea over, and she finally fainted.

Rewards:
Rediamond: 2 RC
Texas: 2 TC
-Cacnea: 1EC/1DC/2MC
Dogfish: 2 TC
-Magnemite: 1EC/1DC/2MC

And that's a wrap.
