Now, in the red corner, fighting for Kaxtar...Scrafty!

Scrafty (M)
Adamant Nature (+1 to Attack, -1 to Special Attack)

Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions of throwing/grappling moves. Superior reaction time in close quarters.
Dark: Dark STAB; Immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.

Shed Skin: (Innate) This Pokemon regularly sheds its skin and any impurities contained in its body. If afflicted with a status condition, this Pokemon has a 33% chance of removing all status conditions at the end of a round.
Moxie: (Innate) This Pokemon gets psyched after it earns a KO on an opposing Pokemon, increasing its attack by one (1) stage. This boost is maintained at the end of each round.
Intimidate (DW- UNLOCKED): (Can be Activated)When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents. (Not yet Active)

And, in the blue corner, fighting for Devoninja...Minccino!

Minccino(*) (F)
Nature: Adamant (+1 Atk, -1 SpA)
Type: Normal
Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Abilities:
Cute Charm: (Innate) This Pokemon’s natural cuteness causes Pokemon of the opposite gender in the same egg group to be attracted to it 30% of the time after striking with a contact move.
Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects.
Skill Link (DW Locked): (Innate) This Pokemon’s skillfull aim makes its multi-hit moves always hit 5 times. The Energy Cost of multi-hit attacks is increased by three (3).

Ok Minccino use your Technician ability.

-Round 1 begin-

This matchup may seem a bit unfair, but it looks like both of our competitors are continuing despite that! Talk about sportsmanship! Today we have Scrafty, a Dark/Fighting type notorious for its defensive ability, versus Minccino, a fast Normal-type Pokemon with a penchant for multi-hit moves, thanks to its ability Technician. Scrafty has the ability to deal super-effective damage here, but Minccino can be a powerhouse if its attacks continuously land. Let's see how this fight turns out!

Scrafty enters the battlefield with a mighty Intimidating shout, which scares Minccino a bit and lowers its Attack stat. Minccino takes the lead, building up its defenses by creating four illusions of itself with Double Team! Minccino looks pretty confident, now; any Fighting-type attack Scrafty throws at it is likely to miss! But, seeing through the illusion, Scrafty fades out of sight, and reappears to swat the real Minccino right out of the air with Faint Attack! Since it never misses, Scrafty was able to hit the real Minccino, and the clones dissipate. Kind of a waste of energy, but you can't blame Devoninja for wanting to stay on the defensive.

As the middle of the round rears its ugly head, Minccino gets up from the embarrassingly accurate strike and goes straight at Scrafty with a Fighting-type move of its own! The Wake-Up Slap isn't as effective because Scrafty isn't asleep, but the super-effective damage definitely stings. Always aware, it seems, Scrafty Counters the strike, blasting Minccino with all of the damage it took...and then some!

Looks like we're going to see some real Minccino fury at the end of the round! Minccino dives in with its superior speed and unleashes three hits of Tail Slap, hitting directly for solid damage. The power boost from Technician really makes that attack more powerful than it seems. But, once again, Scrafty goes in for the kill, this time with a devastating Hi Jump Kick that impacts and sends Minccino sprawling across the arena. That has got to hurt, ladies and gentlemen.

Scrafty has the distinct advantage here, but Minccino is still holding on! How will these Pokemon fare? Tune in after the break.

Well it looks like we brought a chinchilla to a baggy-pants-wearing-gangster fight. Well minccino show him that you've learned some things on the street too. Steal his Exp. Share then Slap him some more. You'll probably get your butt kicked hard, but word will spread and you'll increase your street cred for your future rap career.

-Round 2 begin-

To avenge how horribly Minccino got beaten up in the last round, her trainer decides to get a little bit of Scrafty's Exp. Share action by using Thief to snatch the item from Scrafty's head. All looks fine and well until Scrafty socks Minccino in the face with a Drain Punch, regaining most of the health he lost. I'll repeat myself; that has got to hurt.

Minccino prepares for a devastating(?) combo attack, using Tail Slap and Wake-Up Slap together to unleash a flurry of blows, but...the complexity of the move is just too much to prepare, and Scrafty seals the deal with a Brick Break. Poor Minccino didn't know what hit her. But, hey, he got the Exp. Share bonus!
