I know this thing has a lot of options but I don’t want to clutter with million slashes. I also need help on the most efficient move combinations and EVs for better all-around coverage.

[Overview]
- Electivire the eternal noobmon
- Good coverage but not-so-hot speed yaada yaada
- Legitimately viable in RU though

[SET COMMENTS]
- Wild Charge is finally a physical STAB that sucks less
- I think first slashes go together, and second slashes go together.
- Ice-type coverage hits Grassers and Grounds, CC or EQ for additional SE coverage
- HP Grass hits annoying Quagsire, Rhydon, etc, while Flamethrower hits Ferroseed if you don’t go for Cross Chop
- EVs designed to outspeed Max Speed Rotom, but it walls you regardless, so you may drop down to 216 EVs to outspeed Max Speed 90’s, and put the rest in SpA. Notable Base 90’s in RU include Lilligant, Moltres, and Porygon-Z.
- 252 / 252 spread is also an option if you can consistently get the motor drive boost, as it allows you to outspeed CS Krookodile, most variants of Sharpedo after the Speed Boost, and speed tie with CS Primape.
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
- Pretty independent as sweepers go
- Spikes and Stealth Rock always helps an offensive mon like this. He’ll force a lot of switches with his possible coverage options.
- Electric-type attack lures to make it fast
- EQ Resists or immunes patch up his only weakness
- Lots of Super Effective coverage so Expert Belt can be used over Life Orb for faking Choice Items (which will not work very often thanks to the fact that he’s a notable user of Expert Belt) and avoiding the big recoil on Wild Charge. It loses a lot of power on Neutral Wild Charges, though.
- Full Physical LO
- Choice Sets
- Thunderbolt, Volt Switch
- Meditate
- Vital Spirit to absorb Sleep
- Any faster offensive mon count as a check. Not hard to OHKO Electivire physically. Notably Dugtrio traps and kills.
- Bulky Grounds such as Sandslash, Quagsire, Claydol, or Rhydon can check depending on the moveset
- Defensive Ghost-type Rotom with Will-O-Wisp walls all his sets
- Prankster Sableye checks it with Priority Will-O-Wisp, but Special versions with Thunderbolt will bypass it.
- On the subject of Sableye, in general if Electivire can't hit something Super Effectively, it will most likely lose to it.
