[SET]
name: Bulky Attacker
move 1: Taunt
move 2: Roost
move 3: Brave Bird
move 4: Punishment / U-turn
item: Eviolite
ability: Big Pecks
nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 236 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

This set focuses on beating walls by itself without resorting to stalling them out. It still maintains Vullaby's impressive bulk, while allowing it to actually deal some damage. Taunt can shut down walls and opponents which try to turn Vullaby into set-up fodder. Roost serves as a reliable form of recovery and increases Vullaby's lifespan on the battlefield. Brave Bird is Vullaby's main STAB attack, and is capable of dealing great damage. The last slot is up to the user; Punishment is a nice secondary STAB that uses your opponent's boosts against them, while U-turn is great for scouting, or for escaping after Taunting a wall.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EVs are pretty straightforward; maximize Attack in order to hit as hard as possible, and maximize Speed to have a better chance of Taunting your opponent first. The leftover EVs go into HP; however, it should be noted that without them you could switch into Stealth Rock five times instead of four. An Adamant nature is used to boost Attack, as the loss in Special Attack does not effect Vullaby. Overcoat is a viable option over Big Pecks, but weather recoil can be simply Roosted off. Big pecks, however, stops Vullaby from suffering Defense drops, and is therefore usually the better option. Magnemite puts a cold stop to this set as it resists all of Vullaby's attacks, and can strike back with a super effective STAB Thunderbolt.

Steel-types are the biggest problem for this set since they resist everything that Vullaby can throw at them. Magnemite is a good example, as it can hit Vullaby with a super effective STAB Thunderbolt. Ironically, Magnemite also makes a fantastic partner, as it can trap and kill many Steel-types that wall Vullaby, including opposing Magnemite. Magnemite and Vullaby also synergize well, as Magnemite resists the numerous Ice-, Rock-, and Electric-type moves that Vullaby is weak to. Diglett is also a good partner, as it can trap all Steel-type Pokemon not named Bronzor and kill most of them. Vullaby is very fast and bulky, so the best option is to either hit it hard and fast, or use status such as poison or burn to cripple it. On the subject of teammates, this set could use Rapid Spin and Toxic Spikes support; the former can greatly increase Vullaby's longevity, whilst the latter can help Vullaby take down walls with more ease, so Tentacool and Staryu are good partners, respectively. Since Dark- and Flying- type coverage is pretty much unresisted, anything that can take a Brave Bird which and hit back hard makes an efficient check, such as Chinchou ot Staryu.

EDIT: PROOFREAD AND DONE

Also, as this is a set, not a full analysis, shouldn't there be no "Teammates and Counters" section? If thats the case, just remove the tags and merge that section into AC.

This set focuses on beating walls one-on-one by itself without the need resorting to stalling them out. It still maintains Vullaby's impressive bulk, while allows allowing Vullaby to actually land deal [Clarity] some damage. Taunt can shut down walls and opponents which try to turn Vullaby into a set-up fodder. Roost here as well serves as a reliable form of recovery and increases Vullaby's lifespan on the battlefield. Brave Bird is Vullaby's main STAB attack, and be sure it does a lot of damage and is capable of dealing some great damage. The last slot is up to the user; Punishment is a nice secondary STAB that allows you to uses your opponent's boosts against him them, while U-turn is really good if you want to bring in something safely on a predicted switch great for scouting, or for escaping after Taunting a wall [The first part of that sentence was pretty much talking about scouting].

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EVs are pretty much straightforward,;[Remove Comma / Add Semicolon] maximizing maximize Attack in order to hit as hard as possible, and maximizing maximize Speed so you would to have more a better chance of Taunting your opponent first. The rest goes leftover EVs go into HP,;[Remove Comma / Add Semicolon] however, but it should be noted that without them you could switch into Stealth Rock five times instead of four [The upsides of using the HP EVs?]. An Adamant nature is used to boosts up Vullaby's Attack, as the loss in Special Attack does not effect Vullaby. without losing any other stat that's important. Overcoat is a viable option over Big Pecks, but weather recoil can be simply Roosted off,.[Remove Comma / Add Period] Big pecks, however, stops Vullaby from suffering Defense drops, and is therefore usually the better option. so Big Pecks is usually better because it prevents Vullaby's Defense from dropping, something that this set greatly appreciates. Magnemite puts a cold stop to this set as it resists all of Vullaby's attacks, and can strike Vullaby back with a super effective STAB boosted Thunderbolt.

[Teammates and Counters]

Steel-types are the biggest nightmare problem for this set because since they resist all the moves this Vullaby can throw at them. Magnemite is especially is a good example, because as noted it can hit Vullaby with a super effective STAB Thunderbolt. Therefore Ironically, Magnemite also makes a fantastic partner, as it can trap and kill many Steel-types that wall Vullaby, including opposing Magnemite. of your own is a good partner because it can trap and kill many Steel-types that wall Vullaby, and synergies well with Vullaby as it resists Ice-, Rock-, and Electric-type moves that Vullaby is weak to. Magnemite and Vullaby also synergize well, as Magnemite resists the numerous Ice-, Rock-, and Electric-type moves that Vullaby is weak to. Diglett is also a good partner,[Add Comma] because as it can trap and kill all Steel-type Pokemon not named Bronzor and kill most of them [Is there a Steel-type it can trap and NOT kill?]. Vullaby is really very fast and really bulky, so it's the best option is to either hit it hard and hit fast, or put Vullaby under use status like such as poison or burn which would to cripple it quickly or burn that would weaken Vullaby's Attack. On the subject of teammates, this set could use Rapid Spin and Toxic Spikes support,;[Remove Comma / Add Semicolon] though the former can greatly increase Vullaby's longevity, whilst the latter is not a must as it would just can help Vullaby take down walls easier with more ease, so Staryu and Tentacool Tentacool and Staryu are good partners, respectively. Since Dark-/<add space> and Flying- type coverage is pretty much unresisted, everything anything that can take a Brave Bird which is Vullaby's strongest attack and hit back hard makes an efficient check, like such as Chinchou ot Staryu.

Good job :)

Since theres alot of colourful writing there, I included an easy Copy / Paste version. Feel free to use it; speeds the whole process up a bit.

Implemented the first GP check. I left the Teammates and Counters section because when I asked comatthew6 he told me that's one of the sections in the new set format. I will change it though if another GP member tells me to remove it. Thanks a lot,
ready for check number 2.
