First offensive Trick Room team

Well this is my first attempt doing one and I found it quite good. I hope you guys would be rating me nicely though I appreciate even some bad comments. Just don't put stuff like "This team can lick my ass 'cause it sucks." Btw, all members of this team has 0 Speed IVs(duh), just saying.

Changed a lot. I will indicate if it was changed.
Posted Threat list. Down below :)

Anyway, here goes:

My new poke who can set up Trick Room effectively. Replaced my former team member Xatu. Although they perform the same roles, Whimsicott has some pros and cons that must be noticed:
Pros: Has the ability Prankster which can be annoying and can do Leech Seed and annoy my opponent to force them to switch so I can Trick Room safely. Also has priority Taunt which can stop set up pokemon or just encore them in case that they grab a boost before I can Taunt them.
Cons: Magic Bounce of Xatu was really a better one. Since this team has no Rapid Spinners and clerics, I have trouble with status. Xatu also has U-turn(yes I know, Whimsicott has it too) that can switch into a team mate while doing a bit of damage to opponents.

Another effective user of TR. I only send this guy out usually late game. This poke doesn't really help my team that much other than TR. If anyone can suggest a better way or pokemon, please do. I might replace this guy with a Rapid Spin Hitmontop as my team is very vulnerable to entry hazards especially Toxic Spikes. But it's rather uncommon and I usually kill pokes that can do these hazards. Has a great synergy with Whimsicott absorbing fire type attacks aimed at it. Though it won't be taking too much since Slowbro has pitiful SpD without significant investment. Still a good poke so it retains a position in the team while I replaced 4.

My new attacker replacing Rhyperior. Thick Club gives me a good attack and doesn't cause recoil. I am also allowed to switch attacks unlike Choice items. This poke hits hard right off the bat and can cause havoc to my opponent if not handled correctly. I have played OU with this team and it seems to work well. This poke can take care of some of OU's physical walls like Skarmory with Fire Punch. Other walls like Blissey and Jellicent won't like taking STAB Earthquake. Anyway, this is UU. Like I said in OU, this poke really can give my opponent the creeps. Chansey is 2HKOed on the switch. The only real prob here is Slowbro though I got lucky one match and Crit that thing and OHKOed.

378736_314307925270429_100000736732382_1005537_340148081_n.jpg

My only way of dealing with some walls in UU. Also my primary check to Chansey and can threaten with STAB Close Combat. This poke is also my pseudo-status absorber as I will be statused by Toxic Orb. After a Guts boost, Hariyama will only lose 10 points to Marowak which means that both pokes can do pretty much the same damage to my opponents. Although I lose the type coverage and awesome moves, I do have 2 priorities. These moves namely Fake Out and Bullet Punch, save me in some situations where TR wears out and my opponent only has a "smidgen" as that YouTube guy Nbz would say. Bullet Punch is for revenge killing even without Trick Room up. Fake Out is self-explanatory.

381098_314316641936224_100000736732382_1005566_865042863_n.jpg

Now let's get to my Special attackers. Both of them can set up Trick Room and can cause severe damage. Chandelure's great type coverage with it's dual STAB and the other move Energy ball can give my a great offensive momentum. When this guy is out, I'm not the one who's supposed to predict what my opponent will do next but rather my opponent should predict what move I'll go next as almost everything not named Chansey/Blissey(in OU) will be severely hurt with my moves. I'm thinking of replacing Energy Ball with HP Fighting to attain perfect coverage but I will have no way of dealing with bulky waters on the switch. But for now, since I still have my Hariyama to patch up the Fighting-type thingo, I will stick to Energy Ball.

And last but not the least, my final TR user and so far my most effective one. Porygon2 performs 2 different roles: 1. Set up Trick Room and 2. Sweep while keeping self up to shape. A very defensive tank like this really deserves a place in my team. Some people will think that this is a wall but do not underestimate it's base 105 SpA that rivals those of some powerful special sweepers like Mismagius and to a lesser extent, Sceptile. Download is chosen over Trace since I always switch into a physical wall and the chance of getting a SpA boost is very tempting. From there on, I usually don't switch out and I just try to sweep since once TR is done, I can just set it up again. BTW, this guy is non-negotiable and I won't replace it until you give me a darn good reason. It just won me some 1v1 situations while others can't.

I hope you can give me a good rating since my other RMTs usually don't get noticed at all.

Xatu, one of the best Trick Room users out there. I usually use this as lead so that I can prevent my opponents from setting up entry hazards and so that I can TR right away then U-turn out to an appropriate pokemon then sweep. But if it's early game, I usually switch into one of my Choiced Pokemon so that I can weaken walls first or just heavily maim any pokemon who dares to stand up to the brute power of choice users. But some Xatu switch ins are very frail so that I just OHKO them usually with my pokes. Other than the said roles, Xatu really has nothing to wall or so. Just TR.

383186_314180921949796_100000736732382_1005072_707590850_n.jpg

My first physical attacker. Rhyperior can cause serious damage to any poke not named Slowbro or Registeel . However, I usually kill Slowbro with my special sweepers. Rhyperior is just there to sweep late game since during early game, I use my special attackers. Even though this pokemon is very weak in terms of SpD, I patched that up by maximizing it. A very hard hitting tank like this guy can also come in to choice users such as Heracross that is locked into a neutral move or not very effective and just fire of a proper move that will do the most damage to my opponent's team. It's dual STAB is usually enough but the other two moves are there to break walls. Megahorn for Slowbro and Aqua Tail for other Rhyperior. I replaced the item from Choice Band to Life Orb since Choice Items are somehow useless in TR teams. (c)Moo

403046_313095368725018_100000736732382_1001136_277347007_n.jpg

My second physical attacker. Victini usually doesn't play a good role since it's beloved sun support was stripped from it long ago. But I don't let that come into my mind since it's insanely powerful STAB, V-create, severely dents anything that doesn't resist it. Even walls are 2HKOed most of the time. Fusion Bolt for coverage against bulky water and Brick Break for some predicted Rock- Type switch in. I don't really use Brick Break a lot so if someone could suggest a better move, please do. This guy is also one of my Bronzong counters. In the regular PO server, Bronzong is UU so it's quite a problem. Though I usually play in Smogon, I'm just informing those who play in PO as well.

IVs: 30 Def/ 30 SpA/ 30 SpD/ 2 Spe

My first special attacker and also a very hard hitter thanks to Adaptability Tri Attack. This poke has won me some certain conditions. The main use is to sweep late game. Since I only have 2 turns to sweep since I still have to set up a Nasty Plot to be very effective. I can also use this to break walls with that stunning 808 SpA stat after a boost. Pretty much nothing can wall me after this. (c)Moo

Hey, cool team! I've got a few suggestions to improve it:

Ok, firstly, choice Pokemon just plain don't work with Trick Room. It kinda defeats the purpose of slower Pokemon being able to sweep, because if they're stuck with a choice item, then they're locked into one attack, forcing you to switch, wasting Trick Room. I suggest giving Rhyperior Life Orb / Leftovers, whichever tickles your fancy. Life Orb will be good for a higher damage output, whereas Leftovers will make it a little more bulky. Without it being locked into Choice Band, your opponent will have a much harder time dealing with Rhyperior if it can't be outsped.

For the same reasons, I think PorygonZ's set needs some alterations. Perhaps you could change it to a Nasty Plot set:

Porygon-Z @ Life Orb / Leftovers Trait: Adaptability
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Nasty Plot
- Tri Attack
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

It takes just one turn to set up with Nasty Plot and boost its attack to over 800. PorygonZ isn't usually used because its Nasty Plot set is too slow and its Agility set is too weak. But this one has the best of both worlds, with added bulk. PorygonZ will be seriously hard to stop after a boost under Trick Room. Just make sure to take out Pokemon like Chansey, Snorlax, and Specially Defensive Escavalier before attempting to sweep with it, because even considering how powerful this duck is, the aforementioned Pokemon will make it difficult to sweep.

Good luck with the team, I hope I helped.

I kinda noticed that as well but I didn't pay attention to it. As you have explained, what you said are true. Being choice-locked is hard. I'll try these sets.

On Rhyperior, is their any particular reason it has all those SpD EVs? 252 HP is usually sufficient, because Rhyperior usually isn't taking special hits.

Really like the team. Trick Room has been a favorite of mine (even though I barely play it).

Victini kind of just seems... there. He has nice coverage and can set up Trick Room, but I think that TR Whimsicott will do really well instead of him.

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Prankster
252 HP/4 Def/252 Spe
Jolly Nature
>Taunt
>U-Turn
>Trick Room
>Encore

At first he may seem really weird, but this guy is for renewing Trick Room and messing up sweepers. If he locks someone with Encore on a set-up move, than he can proceed to Trick Room. If you think that Whimsi can tank the hit, then you can stay in and U-Turn, and your sweeper will come out unharmed.

@Straw Hat The SpD EVs are for surviving Sp. Attacks aimed at me in case I don't get an OHKO. I usually do some calcs at times and I noticed that EVs in SpD change the damage number but EVs in HP don't. To put in other terms: Say I took a damage of 100 from an attack without EVs. If I put some defense EVs, it can be changed to 80 damage but if I put HP EVs, the damage is still 100.

@Pen Ink yea Victini is just there. I can't really find a good replacement and so Victini is there. Though I like your Whimsicott idea, this team is is an offensive one and I don't need another Trick Room set up poke that can't attack. If you could, please suggest a better physically offensive pokemon. But as usual, I'll try what you suggested and do some replacing if needed.

EDIT:

@Moo, your set works! Thank you for helping me in that case.

@Pen Ink I certainly do love that set; I used on my TR team :p . If he has troubles with boosting sweepers, that could replace Xatu, but as of now, Xatu is just too similar to warrant it being on the team.

Whoa, base 90 is waaaayyy to fast to be a TR abuser. Porygon Z isn't built for that. Also, in TR, you don't want to boost, since you now just wasted a turn of TR, giving you only 2 turns to sweep. However, your team does lack a revenge killer and some sort of way to break Stall. You can't insure TR is going to be up all the time, so a scarfer is needed as a backup plan. Fortunately this is where Porygon Z shines.

Porygon-Z @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Adaptability
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Tri Attack
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Trick

Trick allows you to beat eviolite Chansey which plaugues the tier. BoltBeam coverage is used since they offer higher base power and coverage (more important on a scarfer). With this set, we now have a free team slot since it is very similar to Porygon 2. You already have two physical TR abusers, so its looks like we can go for a special one. Surprisingly, there are actually only a small amount of special TR abusers in UU other than Porygon-2 and Slowbro. With this in mind I came up with these two sets.

Chandelure (M) @ Macho Brace
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- Energy Ball

opps :p

Empoleon (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Surf
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- Flash Cannon

Chandelure can set up its own TR and with Macho Brace, can outspeed Slowbro in TR. It's very powerful, however it is very similar to Victini. Meanwhile there is Empoleon. The Life Orb let's you hit harder and get into Torrent range where Surf becomes a real monster. Empoleon can take on Miltoic easily, but it can't set its own TR.

@ThePillsburyDoughBoy thanks for some info. I kinda noticed that set up was also weird but I only use Porygon-z to break down walls since most get 2HKOed after +2 and that's just enough time for Trick Room to wear out. This one is kinda problematic though. After breaking down the wall, TR is gone and that gives the opponent an advantage. Although I just try to attack right away without setting up since Porygon-z can already deal a lot of damage even without set up. But anyway, I'll test these sets of yours.

EDIT:

I found some very strong and slow pokemon from lower tiers. I'll try 'em out.

Here's a list:
Hariyama(120 Atk and Guts to abuse. Chansey check)
Honchkrow(good mixed attacker)
Marowak(Found it on ThePillsburyDoughBoy's rmt)
Medicham(Ability is tempting)
Zweilous(pokemon's strongest Outrage)

To be perfectly honest I actually did take it from your RMT. ;D

OTR Gallade is a highly effective option in order to take out special walls. I don't really see how much Slowbro is helping you, and Gallade can use TR to sweep by himself, much like Chandelure. On Chandelure, is there any particular reason you're using Macho Brace? I know it slows it down, but it's slow enough anyway. Therefore I recommend using a Life Orb to deal even more insane damage

@Cherub Agent: I'll try that Gallade. Slowbro is just there to wall stuff while setting up TR as they switch out. As for Chandelure, I put Macho Brace to "outspeed" the standard Slowbro under Trick Room. The Slowbro will have like 96 speed? and Chandelure will have like 70+

EDIT: I might not try the Gallade btw. The team is weak to some strong physical attackers. And besides, Slowbro does the job of setting up TR just fine and can kill stuff at times.

someone else may have said this already without me seeing it, why toxic orb over flame orb? guts prevents burn from causing attack drop and burn does less damage.
sorry it's such a small contribution
