Round 1: Terror Soup

Gooooooooooooood evening, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight's battle takes place in a gigantic bowl of Unown soup and pits Axmaster68 and his Duskull Spook, against Pippy and Anthony the Dratini!

Since Anthony is by far the faster pokemon in this battle, he leads off the first round with a Dragon Rush...but just barely misses, crashing into one of the Unown behind Spook! Taking advantage of this turn of events, Spook's eye gives off a malevolent glow and Disables the Dratini's attack!

Looks like the Unown that Tony smacked with Dragon Rush was the kind shaped like an S. Seizing it with his tail, he invokes...vanishing into thin air! What kind of attack starts with an S that does-...oh dear...Looks like Ax's Duskull is getting the hint, so she comes up with a Nasty Plot in order to counter it...and gets interrupted with Tony's return - and the sheer malevolent energy of his Shadow Force!

Anthony appears to be wracking his brain trying to remember what he was going to do next, but gives up and starts flailing all over Spook! Although his Struggling does some damage, it isn't much. Meanwhile, his Duskull nemesis has had quite enough of his shenanigans, and blows him away with a Shadow Ball!

Tony may be leading in health, but Spook has the advantages of a power boost and that embargo on Dragon Rush. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned!

Welcome back, folks! Pippy's Dratini starts off the round by seizing a D unown to Detect any of Spook's incoming attacks...and sure enough, dodges her Ice Beam! However, this leaves him open to the Duskull's follow-up - an inky little Shadow Ball that submerges Tony into the broth...and he's not surfacing!

Spook lazily floats over, first worried she may have done something horrible to Tony...then dismissing it as him sulking...then horrified when she realizes he was pulling a surprise attack, his Dragon Tail sending her flying all the way to the edge of the bowl! Anthony dives back into the broth, seeking Spook like some kind of torpedo before lunging at her with the strength to climb Waterfalls...but Ax's little ghost had a surprise attack of her own, blasting Tony in the face with another Ice Beam! It didn't stop his attack, but it sure did hurt!

Pippy leads in health, but Ax's "Ax"-ess to Ice Beam could turn the fight in his favor. This could easily go either way!

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen! Spook starts the round by grabbing an I Unown and starts chilling the air around her...looks like she's pulling a charge attack of her own. Meanwhile, Tony grabs an O Unown which drives him batshit insane and starts smacking Spook around with an Outrage! Although the Duskull is badly wounded from the attack, she unleashes all that stored energy, not only Burning her Dratini nemesis with all that Ice, but also throwing him out of Outrage and into confusion!

Without any further commands, Tony stumbles around and starts Struggling upon Spook, doing a negligible amount of damage, while the little ghost shoots an Ice Beam at him, putting Pippy's pokemon within an inch of his life!

...and then Anthony smacks himself in the face with his own tail, falling over. Axmaster wins!
