Arena: ASB Arena

EDIT: Forgot Subs: 2

JUMPLUFF IS, HAS BEEN, AND WILL ALWAYS BE A TERRIBLE POKEMON >:L

No Items
All Abilities

Challenger is allowed 1 KO, challenged shall not fall

I don't know the history behind this match, but it appears like Temperantia has said Jumpluff rocks....Pwnemon took offense to that and is now responding...

To the Left, Temperantia with his team:

189.gif

Jumpluff- Iris (F)
Nature: Jolly (Decrease SpA by 1, Increase Spe by 15%) [Acc modifier: 127^2/830=19%]
Type: Grass/Flying
Grass: Grass STAB; Immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming "powder" attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:
Chlorophyll: (Innate) During bright sunlight, this Pokemon’s cells absorb more solar energy, doubling (x2) their speed.
Leaf Guard: (Innate) In bright sunlight the Pokemon is surrounded by a faint green glow. The glow protects it from all permanent and temporary status conditions.
Infiltrator (DW=Unlocked): (Innate) Through a combination of speed and cunning this Pokemon easily gets around Light Screen, Reflect, and Safeguard with all of its attacks.

Gliscor(*) Aerotoxin (F)

Nature: Careful (+ SpD, -SpA)
Types: Ground / Flying
Ground: Ground STAB; Immune to all electrical attacks, can Dig through almost any substance, Evasive Digging reduced from 3 per action Energy Cost to 2 per action, superior senses in darkened cave surroundings.
Flying: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks outside extremely odd circumstances even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:
Sand Veil:
(Innate) This Pokemon is used to reacting in desert conditions and gets a 20% evasion boost during Sandstorms. Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.
Hyper Cutter: (Innate) This Pokemon always keeps its claws/teeth/pincers extremely sharp, and thus cannot have its attack reduced.
Poison Heal: (Innate) Pokemon with this ability have internal structures that absorb the toxins in poison and uses them to recover two (2) HP/action instead of taking poison damage. When a Pokemon with Poison Heal inflicts Poison on themselves with an attack, it uses up one of their Recovery Moves. If Toxic'd, the Toxic counter will still go up each round and Toxic will do the relevant damage for that round should their ability be disabled.

Here's the order for this match:

Temperantia issues orders
Pwnemon issues orders

Temp is correct actually, that may not be typical but it was our arrangement on IRC. Disregard first actions, which will remain up until temp posts his, just to be safe

I actually think I'm supposed to order first.

Perhaps a little taste of what a Grass Pokemon can do will change your mind, Pwnemon. C'mon out, Iris!

189.gif

Leech Seed->Reflect->Bounce

if Taunt on a1 or a2, replace with Sleep Powder and move actions back

if Agility (Speed Boost) a1, replace with Stun Spore and do not move actions back

leech seed might hurt a tiny dinky itty bitty bit, but it's absolutely not the worst thing GLISCOR can take!

Substitute (25%) ~ Taunt ~ Roost

Toughest part of this command string was deciding what to do a3 with the free turn. Can't believe you forgot substitute even after I put it in my original commands!~

EDIT: Realized i forgot to take Temperantia's sub into account; everything's fixed.

anyway: Ice Fang + Ice Fang ~ cooldown ~ Acrobatics

IF bounce (stay) is used a1, wait for bounce (attack) command to use Ice Fang combo, and toxic (self) ~ chill ~ chill in that order while you're waiting

IF bounce is used a3 when you would be using Acrobatics, chill instead

U-Turn+Bounce combo-> Cooldown-> Reflect

If the combo wouldn't work (or wouldn't have the properties of U-turn i.e. removing Taunt),

Bounce+Bounce-> Cooldown-> U-Turn

Silly Pwnemon, Bounce can't be used to stay in the air! :P

Just a note, Jumpluff's Hp should be 6 less because Leech Seed only would have healed on the last turn since Iris was at 100 Hp before then.

IF Attacking move is used by Jumpluff for the first time this round, use Taunt that same action and pushback UNLESS the move is bounce in which case use Substitute (15) and pushback
IF bounce is used AND Sub1 does not tell you to use Substitute, use Counter

edit: this is gonna end my six game win streak i know

Just posting now to say that because of the way the sub is worded, and the fact there's a second sub...it's illegal. You can't order for ANY attacking move, you must specify type. I'm ignoring the first sub altogether because of the presence of a second sub, so sorry.

Posing round results as we speak.
