Unown Soup... times two! KS vs Complications!

Status
Not open for further replies.
You know, I've always wondered... is Unown Soup a Blaziken broth?

I challenge Complications to a 4v4 Doubles battle!!
2/5 Recoveries/chills
Abilities = all
Items = no
Switch = boiled alive.

Arena: The Soup Table!!!
The Soup Table is basically the same as the normal Soup arena except for a little twist:

There are Two soup bowls!!! As this is a double battle, one pokemon from both sides have one soup bowl to themselves and the other side has a soup bowl to themselves.

This means that one of my mons and one of Comp's mons will have a soup bowl and the other two will have their own.

A mon in one soup bowl cannot use anything from the other mon's bowl. This is to prevent OP attacks.

This will be a standard double battle otherwise: Both mons can attack any foe out there.

When someone sends out a mon in the beginning of the first round, desiginate which bowl it will draw upon: Left or Right. The bowl selection does not mean that it has to defeat the mon that it is sharing the bowl. It can still attack the other.

Complications, do you accept?
Accepting. KS also said via VM (you can view)
And now, our lucky Pokemon, who get to enjoy this lovely soup!

Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.

Hustle: (can be enabled)This Pokemon puts immense force and speed in its physical attacks, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste used lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal.

Go, Bane and El Gigante!!!

Bane appears and hits the edge of the left Bowl and falls outside it. I pick it up and throw it like a football into the soup.

El Gigante appears and is floating on a large noodle in the Right bowl.

Let's teach these derpmons how to fight! Soundwave to Bane's bowl! Bec into El Gigante's!

Soundwave use Unown D (Dark Void)-Thunderbolt (Bane)-Hydro Pump (El Gigante)
Bec use Unown B (Bolt Strike Bane)-Sky Attack (El Gigante)-Assurance (El Gigante)

Its vacation, so I doubt either of you would object to a 1 Day DQ. However, if you want/need an extension, I wouldn't mind expanding this to 2 Day DQ.

Why/how the hell has Bane not evolved yet...?

Unown D: Dark Void -> both (10 EN)
Both fell into an intense sleep! (2a)

Bane is asleep!

Unown B: Bolt Strike -> Bane (9 EN)

RNG roll (to para, <=20 para) 45 = no para

Rock Slide -> Both (6 EN)

It is my honest opinion that Dark Void is beyond broken in Unown Soup doubles matches. Case in point, KS is getting his ass handed to him on a silver platter :/

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but since El Gigante was damaged by Hydro Pump prior to but in the same action as Bec using Assurance, shouldn't Assurance have 10 base power, not including stab?

Yep, I'll be lucky if anyone survives this round :(

Bane: Bounce [Murkrow] - Unown T (Thunder Wave) [Staryu] - Bounce [Murkrow]
Sub: If Unknown T is taken, replace A2 with Unown L (Lava Plume).

El Gigante: Rock Slide - Protect - Rock Slide
Sub: If Bane's Unown powered Thunder wave is sucessful, change A2 to Unown F (Freeze Shock) [Murkrow]

Whilr Bane's actions are legal, El Gigante's A1 must be changed. He's sluggish A1, and Protect costs 7 EN (Sluggish' 6 EN maximum is before STAB)

Okay this is how we roll!!!
Soundwave: Unown T (Taunt El Gigante)-Thunderbolt (Bane)-Thunderbolt (Bane)

Bec: Unown W (Wide Guard)-Sky Attack~Sky Attack (El Gigante)-Cooldown

AH DAMN IT ALL. Both of you need to re-order. Due to the consecutive move penalty, El Gigante's Rock Slide will cost 10 EN, meaning that KS has to re-order once more

Yep, I'll be lucky if anyone survives this round :(

Bane: Bounce [Murkrow] - Unown T (Thunder Wave) [Staryu] - Bounce [Murkrow]

El Gigante: Scratch Staryu - Protect - Scratch Staryu

Change is in bold.

I never knew Traunt would be so confusing!!!!!!!

Okay this is how we roll!!!
Soundwave: Unown T (Taunt El Gigante)-Thunderbolt (Bane)-Thunderbolt (Bane)

Bec: Unown C (Cross Chop El Gigante)-Sky Attack~Sky Attack (El Gigante)-Cooldown

There we go! Also, neither of you noticed I forget to take off 6 EN from El Gigante for Rock Slide. Whatevs.

Also, KS' sub for El Gigante is illegal, as Protect would have already occurred before Bane's attack happened (good thing it wouldn't activate anyway, more of a future reference thing)

Your orders, Complications!

Hahahahahahahahaha! El Gigante got critter AND burned. That's a hoot :3

Okay, here goes.
Soundwave: Unown P (Paleo Wave Firestorm)-Recover-Power Gem (Firestorm)
Bec: Unown P (Psycho Boost Tyrant)-Roost-Sky Attack (Tyrant)
If either of King Serperior's Pokemon uses Protect by any means during A1, swap A1 for A2 of the Pokemon targeting that Pokemon.

Tyrant: Sludge Bomb - Ice Beam - Sludge Bomb (All at Murkrow)
Sub: If Murkrow Faints, change target to Staryu.

Firestorm: Energy Ball - Giga Drain - Energy Ball (All at Staryu)
Sub: If Staryu faints, change target to Murkrow and change actions to Flamethrower - Flash Cannon - Flamethrower.

Hopefully, KS will actually get a KO this match.... At least Bane finally evolved, eh?

While I decide to buckle down and actually add some goddamn flavor to this match, the Pokemon on the battlefield are already up and running! Quick as can be, Soundwave dives into his bowl of soup, picks up a P, and immediately begins firing off a beam of ancient energy that hits Firestorm straight in a weak spot, sending him flying back! Good thing he has his Battle Armor on, or that would've done a ton more! Bec, seeing what his partner did, rushes over to his own bowl and plucks out a P, then a giant psychic aura surrounds Bec before slamming into Tyrant, also dealing a ton of damage! Still able to stand up and take hits, Tyrant fires a bomb of sludge at Bec, shooting him right out of the sky and onto the ground! Firestorm then stands up and fires a giant ball of energy straight at Soundwave, sending it reeling back into the soup!

Soundwave, noticing his massive injuries, decides to regenerate (you know, like starfish do) and gains back a lot of HP! Bec, still being a copycat, does the same thing, except by landing on the ground, nullifying his Flying type! However, it seems that KS might have forgotten the other effect of Roost, as he orders his Nidoran to fire a freezing ICe Beam at Bec, but its not super effective anymore! While KS mutters some curse words under his breath for forgetting that, Firestorm absorbs all the energy he can from Soundwave, completely nullifying that Recover while gaining back quite a bit of HP from Soundwave's assault last round!

Suddenly, Bec wraps himself in a harsh light, but all of this seems to have taken up the last of his energy, and he's barely holding on as is! Soundwave then quickly fires off several glowing gems at Firestorm, which also seem to be doing a lot of damage! Tyrant then throws another ball of sludge at Bec, but it doesn't seem to snap the bird out of his concentration! Firestorm then gets revenge on Soundwave with another ball of energy, and now the Staryu is almost in KO range! Suddenly, Bec explodes with his attack, and breaks loose from his concentration, dealing one final massive assault to Tyrant before falling down out of his own exhaustion!

Sub: If Lord Loss uses a damaging Ghost or Fighting attack, use Sucker Punch on that action aimed at Loss.

Also, I believe that it is 2 subs, so Sub 2 is: If Staryu faints, attack Loss.

Firestorm: Flamethrower - Energy Ball - Flamethrower [All at Lord Loss]
Sub: If HP gets to 30 or below this turn, use Sythisis and push actions down.

Lord Loss: Unown F (Fake Out Tyrant)-Glare (Tyrant)-Wring Out (Firestorm)
Soundwave: Unown H (Hydro Cannon)~Hydro Pump (Tyrant)-Cooldown-Chill
If using Unown moves in a combo is illegal, sub Soundwave's A1 for Hydro Pump~Hydro Pump.

I believe that combo is what we call a nuke :3

EDIT: lol Waterwarrior- I didn't realize he was low on energy...

You guys know that bumping a thread isn't a crime...

Well, it looks like KS is making a bit of a comeback! With Soundwave killing itself for one final blast on Tyrant, Lord Loss simply left himself wide open for a giant assault from both the nearly-fainted Tyrant and the still-strong Firestorm! It also appears that random.org is against Complications as well, as now Lord Loss is severely crippled!

Pre-Round stats:
Left Bowl:

Soundwave
HP: KO
EN: -1

Tyrant
HP: 14
EN: 76
Paralyzed (20%)

Dead Unown: D, H, L, P, T, W

Poisoned (2 DPA)
Burned (2 DPA, -3 BAP to all physical attacks)

Firestorm

Complications automatically sends out Frenzy the Haunter and orders first.

Okay, I miscalculated energy costs. It's crunch time!
Go Frenzy!
Frenzy:Unown S (Spore Firestorm)-Dream Eater (Firestorm)-Taunt (Firestorm)
If Flamestrike prevents sleep A1, sub A2 for Sludge Bomb
Lord Loss: Unown S (Shadow Force Tyrant)-Shadow Ball~Focus Blast (Firestorm)-Cooldown
If Shadow Force does not KO Tyrant, sub A2 for Shadow Ball (Tyrant)
