Abilities:
Magnet Pull (Can Be Activated): This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. Wow, is it just me or is this entire field slow? Anyways, as the round kicks off, quiet lapras is the fastest 'mon and thus takes the immediate advantage with a frenzied dance, summoning storm clouds which proceed to open up on the field! That's a pure downpour, folks. Chingling moves next, and begins making rather cruel insults directed at Necturine's mother! she just won't take that sitting down, and her previous plans to burn Cubone fail as she trembles with rage. Speaking of Cubone, he isn't fazed by the rain and summons fire to his fist, pummeling Necturine with it for decent damage, though she seems to have Anticipated the blow and braced for it...

Lapras moves again, summoning a forceful jet of water that blasts Cubone in the face for MASSIVE damage! That's gotta hurt! Chingling, still healthy, sends a ball of Shadow at Necturine. Though the Pure Incense helps, that hit was still pretty weak... though Necturine is intent on helping it out, struggling tediously for only minor damage on Chingling and a bit of recoil on itself to boot! Cubone, ever stalwart, yet again pummels necturine with its fist, this time, however, coated in ice! That one looked more painful, since the rain did not nerf it.

And for the third time this round, Lapras heads off the festivities, giving Cubone another faceful of water and sending it reeling. Chingling is still hammering away on that Necturine, using another Shadow Ball, though for the first time this round it looks like Necty will actually fight back, as it places a Hex on Chingling! However, Chingling has no wounds into which Necturine can pour salt, so the Hex is rather weak. Cubone finishes off the round with another well-placed Fire Punch, this one striking Necturine square in the weak spot, dealing both Critical Damage AND A BURN! That sucks a lot!

At the end of the round, the teams look rather even, though with dogfish ordering first, texas may be able to take the lead!
