And so, here we are at the ASB Tournament Arena, for the Final Round of this tournament. At the end of the road lies 1 Master Ball for the winner, a ball so powerful, that they can catch anything they want with it. For the loser? 10 UC. A win in this 3v3 Singles will go a long way towards winning the Tournament for their team. So, who our the combatants for today? For Team jassmashpwn: It is the first user to sign up for ASB. The first user to catch a Registeel. It is the former Steel Gym Leader candidate: smashlloyd20! Representing Team Cruel Britannia, It is a former ASB Moderator. A former candidate for the Psychic Gym. It is: Alchemator! Time to see what the regulations are, & what our competitors brought to this match!

Description: Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokémon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the centre of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Poké Ball centre). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about 4.5m wide & creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is 24m wide, 33m long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it is an outdoor arena with a large water source & packed dirt. Pokémon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokémon, who cannot leave the arena & cannot fly higher than 18m). This prevents Pokémon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokémon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

SMASHLLOYD20 VS. ALCHEMATOR

Round One - Surprise!

And away we go, for the first round of this match! Shakespeare opens the round by firing a wave of darkness with horrible thoughts that ends up striking the nervous Grass Skirt, disrupting him, & shocking him into flinching! First action, & lady luck has already struck in favour of Cruel Britannia. In other news...I just searched Veekun, & it turns out Gallade cannot learn Dark Pulse! This Gallade is illegal! Unless...Nevertheless, Shakespeare then goes off to fire off another wave imbued with horrible thoughts at the Pyroak, damaging him once more, before Grass Skirt suddenly goes on the offensive, firing a ball of fire into the air, before blowing it up, sending smoke & lava all around the place, & striking the Gallade for some damage! To make things worse for Shakespeare, Grass Skirt then engulfs himself in flames, before ramming into him, knocking him over for some serious damage! Nevertheless, Shakespeare was prepared for it, & simply retaliated, walloping the Pyroak for massive damage! But what is this? Shakespeare appears to be fading, & yes he does! What is standing now is a Zoroark of all things! It is confirmed! Alchemator did not send out Shakespeare the Gallade, but he sent out Zeke the Zoroark!

With the round done, it seems like smashlloyd20 is already on the back foot after a flinch & a surprise attack! Can smashlloyd20 come back against this mischeivous fox, or will Alchemator capitalise on the advantage he gained by virtue of surprise? Either way, we will find out after this commercial break, sponsored by the ASB Battle Hall!

SMASHLLOYD20 VS. ALCHEMATOR

Round Two - Smash-back!

Zeke begins the round in an orderly manner by snickering Grass Skirt & making fun of its arm cannons. This did not bode well with the Pyroak, & he simply responded by tripping the Zoroark with his tail, making Zeke hit the floor head-first & slowing him down! This does not stop Zeke from then crushing dark matter in his hands, creating a burst of darkness that strikes Grass Skirt, as well as blinding the Pyroak a little bit! This is not what Team jassmashpwn had wanted! Nevertheless, Grass Skirt still managed to spot Zeke, & still managed to hit him with another swipe of the tail, slowing down the Zoroark further! Worse yet, the Zoroark was left powerless & nowhere to go, as Grass Skirt then enveloped himself in fire, before ramming into Zeke at full force, striking a weak spot that Zeke had! To make matters worse for Team Cruel Britannia, the attack dealt so much damage, that Zeke was rendered unable to get up! 3-2 smashlloyd20!

Round end, & what could have been so much worse, ended up being so much better for smashlloyd20 & his Pyroak, drawing the first blood, & having an inherent advantage in terms of who to send out next, for the rest of this match! Can Alchemator come back from this unlucky break, or has the lucky break proved to be the match winning play for smashlloyd20? There is a long way to go yet in this match, so stay tuned!

And so, with a bit of bad luck, Alchemator & Team Cruel Britannia appear to be on the back foot against a somewhat blinded, but still healthy Pyroak, lead by smashlloyd20 of Team jassmashpwn! To compensate, Alchemator takes a roll of the dice & sends out his trusty Gallade: Shakespeare, & unlike last time, I think everyone knows that this is the real Shakespeare. Anyhow, let us bring up his stats...

Shakespeare opens his stint in the finals by instantly going on the defensive, siphoning some of his energy into a mini Rhydon doll which then takes his place! In the meantime, Grass Skirt sets off an explosion of fire to try & damage the Substitute, but Lady Luck unfortunately intervenes, & the attack goes off target. It appears that luck has caught up to the jassmashpwn camp...Nevertheless, Shakespeare then tightens his focus to ready a powerful blow, as Grass Skirt eyes the Rhydon doll once more, & recklessly charges into it with full force, breaking the doll in one hit! Maybe that miss was not so bad after all... Though the attack left the Pyroak open, as Shakespeare suddenly comes back out into the open, & wallops Grass Skirt with one powerful swing of the arm for some powerful damage! Sadly for the Pyroak, the Gallade then swiftly disappeared again, with another Rhydon doll taking his place! Grass Skirt then simply attacks it with fiery explosions. This time, the attack was on target, but the doll was sturdy enough to withstand the explosion. That miss earlier obviously counted for nothing after all! Though, to make matters worse for Shakespeare, Grass Skirt finally managed to not only get over his rage, but his vision also improved in the process, giving Grass Skirt far more strength heading into the next round!

Round end, & despite Shakespeare hanging in the safety of a Substitute, smashlloyd20's HP advantage is continuing to rise, & furthermore, it seems like the Pyroak is shaping up for one last hurrah here before passing the baton to his team mates! Round Four - Too Fast!

Shakespeare begins by flinging a barrage of rocks at Grass Skirt, denting him for some damage, when Grass Skirt envelops himself in fire & rams Shakespeare's Rhydon doll, destroying it & making himself faster! The Pyroak then taps into the power of sunlight & undergoes photosynthesis, recovering enough health in time, as Shakespeare then makes an unspeakable insult aimed at Grass Skirt, enraging him once more! This then sees Grass Skirt go on a rampage, setting off fiery explosions to hurt Shakespeare, the Gallade simply firing off another barrage of rocks at the Pyroak in response, striking & leaving him in a critical condition.

Round end, & it appears that the Pyroak, while wounded, is still getting ready for one final attack at the Gallade! How much damage will Grass Skirt do before falling? Brave Bird begins the round by moving swiftly enough to spawn four copies of itself, making Shakespeare see quintuple! This does not stop Shakespeare from attacking though, & he whacks one of the Brave Birds with a fist of electricity. Too bad it was just a clone. Then all the Brave Birds started glowing, forcing Shakespeare to react with a cold fist, striking another Brave Bird with it. Sadly, like the first attack, the fist strikes a copy, as the real Brave Bird suddenly charges at Shakespeare, swooping & striking him for massive damage! Unluckily for Brave Bird, as he started to glow again, Shakespeare managed to catch what he believed to be the real Brave Bird, & smacked him with a fist of electricity...And would you believe it? He smacks the real Brave Bird! Not only do all the clones dissipate, but it appears that some of the electrical energy has shocked the Aerodactyl, rendering him paralysed! This does not, however, stop Brave Bird from swooping down again, & ramming into Shakespeare again with one powerful blow! This time, Shakespeare was unable to recover from the attack, & faints! 2-1 smashlloyd20!

Round end, & for Alchemator, it is all up to Stevenson the Starmie to ward off a paralysed Aerodactyl, & a fresh Excadrill! Can Alchemator make a comeback with the type advantage over the last two adversaries? Or is the 103 HP gap between the two too big to the point where smashlloyd20 can cruise to victory? Stevenson begins by conjuring up some hot water, & firing it Brave Bird's way in the from of a jet, scalding the Aerodactyl for some damage, but Brave Bird responds by pummelling the Starmie with a sharp jab from one of his rocky wings! Worse yet, Brave Bird then starts to glow harshly again! Stevenson is then forced to attack the Aerodactyl, conjuring up a tidal wave which drenches Brave Bird & deals some intense damage! Brave Bird does not stop glowing though, as he suddenly swoops down & hammers the Starmie for some intense damage! Brave Bird thought this was not enough though, as he starts to glow once more! Stevenson then takes advantage again by firing another jet of hot water, striking & leaving Brave Bird with a nasty scald which cripples it! Making matters worse for smashlloyd20, the Aerodactyl then swoops down again, only for Stevenson to dodge the attack with its swift speed!
