Hello everybody, my name's Albus, i'm a Newbie here in the Forums and this is my very first RMT thread , it is about a Team that i built recently and it has worked really good for me; however, i think the Team itself it is lacking something; the RMT is kind of shaky as it is my first one, but whatever, let's see the team:

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 8 Atk / 248 SAtk
Hasty Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Psyshock

-The Team's late game sweeper.
-Draco Meteor is for hitting hard almost everything not called Jirachi, Specially Defensive T-Tar, Heatran, or similar stuff; DD for increasing EQ's power output, as well as its Speed to outspeed almost everything after a boost; EQ for Heatran and to deal a lot of damage to Jirachi or T-tar; and Psyshock for stuff like Virizion or Blissey.
-It has a (kind of) good synergy with Donphan and Scizor because its resistances to Grass, Water and Fire, and also because it can deal with Rotom-W, a thorn on both Pokes's sides.

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch

-The Team's main trapper, designed for trapping & disposing of Steels not called Heatran.
-Thunderbolt for hitting harder than Volt Switch; Hidden Power [Fire] mainly for Ferro and Scizor; Flash Cannon for hitting T-Tar or Garchomp hard; and the set's main move, Volt Switch, for gaining momentum as well as making a VoltTurn core with Scizor.
-It has a good Synergy with Scizor and Latios because it can trap and dispose of Skarmory, Ferrothorn and opposing Scizors, respectively.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 210 HP / 48 Spd
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit

-The Team's main priority user and scout.
-U-Turn for scouting and making a VoltTurn core with Magnezone, Superpower for Heatran or Magnezone (on the switch); Bullet Punch for revenge killing and hitting hard Pokes that doesn't resist it and Pursuit for trapping Ghosts or Psychics without Hidden Power [Fire].
-I put 48 Speed EVs on it to outspeed base 70 Pokes with 4 Speed EVs (like Defensive or Specs Politoed, that in my experience have 4 Speed EVs almost all the time); it has a good synergy with Jellicent and Latios because it can easily kill or severely dent T-Tar or Gengar.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Stealth Rock

-The Team's Rapid Spinner as well as its SR Setter.
-Rapid Spin for eliminating Hazards (duh); EQ as its STAB of choice; Ice Shard for picking off weakened Landorus-I, Dragonite, Chomp and friends; and SR.
-I chose it because it can eaily lay SR and dispose of hazards, as well as having a good synergy with Latios and Jellicent because its ability to take hits really well from (often seen, in my experience) Scarf T-Tar or even Band T-Tar (barring Defense drops from Crunch) something that troubles the earlier mentioned Latios and Jellicent.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 188 SDef / 68 Def
Impish Nature
- Power Whip
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Spikes

-The Team's Spiker and answer to common Rain Teams, as well as the Paralysis Spreader.
-Power Whip for hitting hard (almost) everything that doesn't resist it, Leech Seed as a way of recovery, besides Lefties, T-Wave for spreading paralysis and Spikes.
-It has a good synergy with most of its teammates, especially Jellicent (making the infamous Jelli-Thorn defensive core).

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Spd / 210 Def
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Taunt
- Recover
- Toxic

-The Team's Spinblocker.
-I chose Scald mainly for its 30% burning chance; Taunt to shut down opposing Jellicent or support-reliant Pokes; Recover for reliable recovery and Toxic for poisoning opposing Jellicents or Rotom-W.
-I decided to put 48 Speed EVs to outspeed most Jellicent (because they often have 44 Speed EVs) and it synergizes well with Donphan because its resistances to Ice and Water, and with Scizor because it can defeat non-Substitute or Giga Drain Carrying Volcarona.

And well, this is it, i hope i get good feedback and advice from it (even if my redaction with the Poke's info suck >_>), it would help, a lot! :)

this team looks like a rain team :P... but its not.i only have one outstanding issue with your team 1 being that it has 2 pokemon weak to fire type moves, this means that youll be at a large threat to sun teams might i suggest that you would replace one of them...preferably scizor for something else. your team also is without a good setup sweeper and dude latios just shouldnt have dragon dance... perhaps if your looking for a mixed setup sweeper you could get a salamence. as mentioned before you do need to switch out a 4 weak to fire poke, maby you could replace it with heatran? hope it all goes great and i hoped i helped, good luck on all your endevors and on a side note GET SOME PICTURES, XD

The Latios set is actually very interesting. I can see your idea but there are some modifications to be made. I think you should invest 252 in attack, 4 in sp att and 252 in speed with the same nature you have. This allows your physical moves to hit harder after the surprise dragon dance. Speaking of moves, I suggest running Zen Headbutt over Psyshock with a physical Ev spread. It hits what you wanted psyshock for(and harder if you have some boosts) while giving you another move to count on when you set up. The last recommendation I have is to use a Lum Berry over LO. this allows you to bluff the choice item well and depending on the pokemon sent out, set up on it and block incoming status ailments. With a little team modification this Latios might be very useful but I can't go that far. I leave the huge team mods to other people. Hopefully this helped :]

Thanks for your suggestion. :)

Yeah, you're right, my Team can be easily steamrolled by a Sun Team with little to no effort and also your suggestion to put in Heatran; however, i don't know what should be replaced for it (from the two 4x Fire Weak Pokes)...if i replace Scizor, i would be left without a powerful priority user & check to Terrakion and friends; and, if i replace Ferro, i would be left without the Paralysis and Spikes spreader, in short...a tough choice for me. :/
And 'mence for Latios...yeah, sounds like a good idea, but i use DD on Latios mostly for the surprise value and the ease of setting up (in my battling experiences, compared to 'mence).

Zen Headbutt...looks like a good idea as it can get progressively stronger as i set up DDs (unlike Psyshock); but i kinda disagree about the 252 Attack EVs because, on one hand... yeah, the physical moves would get a huge boost and would KO or severely damage threats that the other spread would not (like on a Choice T-Tar or Jirachi), but on the other hand, Draco Meteor wouldn't hit as hard (especially without the LO boost) and i want the Meteor to hit like a truck...or could it be a good idea if i put 40 EVs from its Sp.Atk to its Attack? i'm not sure if i should do that.
And the Lum to feign a Choice Item? hmm looks like a very nice option over LO, but i would greatly miss the LO's extra power, especially the boost on Draco Meteor.

Hey Albus, sorry it's taken me so long to get to this. College life really gets to you haha.

As for the team, I notice you have a lot of pressure put on Latios. It seems to be your win condition, as well as your only real attacker (Jellicent, Donphan, and Ferrothorn are all defensive, Mangezone is support, Scizor can attack, but it will usually just be U-Turning out). I think you should condense Donphan and Jellicent's roles into one by substituting Sub-Toxic Tentacruel for Jellicent. This gives you another check to Keldeo so there isn't as much pressure on Latios, as well as giving you a rapid spinner that will be great against rain teams. With Donphan and JEllicent gone, I would then suggest Mamoswine over Donphan. Now that you have a spinner, a more offensive Pokémon should take Donphan's place. Mamoswine is great, and can continue to help you check Landorus, Dragonite, and Salamence (more reliably than Donphan, I might add), and can also set up your rocks for you. Mamoswine just seems like a better option overall. I want to suggest Recover over Dragon Dance on Latios, but at the same time, it seems like you built the team with him in mind, so I won't touch that. I guess I would just suggest keeping him healthy until late-game, and then sweep.

I have to go now, but I'll post sets later.

Just one thing, when most players see Magnezone in the team preview, they'll expect the switch in, and Banded Scizor OHKOs Magnezone on the switch with Superpower. After that, he takes out Latios with ease. You could switch Scizor for Gyarados (Dragon Dance), who lets you beat other Scizor, using them for set up, and you have plenty of coverage options. I'd reommend a set like this:
Gyarados @ Leftovers
EVs: 176HP | 128 Atk | 204 Speed
Ability:Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge/Earthquake/Bounce/Ice Fang/Taunt
-Stone Edge/Earthquake/Bounce/Ice Fang

With Intimidate, you can switch in on most physical sweepers, and then Dragon Dance when they switch in. Waterfall gives you STAB, and the last two moves are up to you. Bounce gives you Stab, EdgeQuake is awesome, Ice Fang gets rid of Dragons, Taunt lets you set up on walls like Gliscor, Blissey etc.

The HP investment gives you some bulk, letting you take 2 Fire Blasts from Life Orb Heatran, and 204 speed you outrun +Speed base 115 pokes after a Dragon Dance. The rest goes into attack to maximise damage output.
