The lo latias set is certainly gaining more popularity as latias has a much easier time of dealing with keldeo than latios and here it is, it aims to hurt anything that dare switches in. Recover allows it to last longer from lo recall, psyshock and draco are as standard and surf becomes a pseudo stab move in the rain provided by politoed. Latias acts a powerful bulky pivot and counter to many top threats while maintaining a strong offensive presence.

It was a choice of latios or keldeo being the scarfer, i oped for latios, why? because it's faster and thats immediately gives me an edge over the 2 most common and dangerous scarfers, terrakion and keldeo, both of who latios out speeds. Even with a scarf latios is still very powerful and is more than capable of cleaning up the mess the team makes. Thunder is chosen over trick, one to abuse the rain, but more importantly as a way to revenge gyarados who would otherwise pose problems for the team.

Cobolion seems like an odd choice in ou, but infact he pairs with the lati marvelously, namely latias who can take the special hits while he takes the phsyical, resisting each others weaknesses. Cobo is here to act as amultifunctional pokemon, Sr user, switch in for the lati to deal with tyranitar ect. and he dose the job well. He takes the hits the lati dose not wnat and use it as a chance to deal soem damage to their counters or allow the to spread soem damage by volt turning back in to the lati.

Rain gives the lati an effective third stab and takes away other weather such as sun, which would cause the team grief. politoed is in his defensive set to make sure rain is up and deal with a few physical threats and set up users thanks to perish song. hydro pump is here to make sure he is not weak, set up bait entirely. toxic is to cripple threats and works well with protetc which is here for perish stall again set up sweepers.
