I don't know how am I supposed to do flavour on a training 1v1, but I guess I'll give it a shot. Texas is known to train hard and fast in order to expand his Dragon gym bench, while jas... Jas is kind of a hermit in ASB. Eccentric, silent, yeah, he fits the bill. So let's see what can be spun out of them!

Jas equips and orders
Texas does the same
I kick off

Exp. Share will do it.

Ok Gloom. This is your last battle being a Poison type. Too bad it resists your Poison moves. Oh well. Poison it anyways, and attack. Make sure to keep weather in your favor.

Poisonpowder - Solarbeam - Solarbeam
If Vibrava uses Sandstorm, follow it with Sunny Day
If Vibrava uses Fly, and it is not Sunny, use Sunny Day that action instead

At the implied Bellosom, I gasped - what new fetish has jas found this time? I mean, look at Ledian, Swanna, now Bellosom... A few Smog articles are starting to surface from memories. Could it be...???

Anyway, Texas' Vibrava started off strong by building a mud sculpture of itself that would've earned an A+ in a Pokemon art class. Because any work of art that the artist poured his/her/its life unto deserves nothing but the highest accolades. It also had the added effect of withstanding all Trixie-Gloom's attacks, while Vibrava returned the favor!

Trixie-Gloom's PoisonPowder gave the mud sculpture a nice purple sheen, so I guess she deserves an A+ too. But enough about realistic art - back to battling. It took 2 Solarbeams from Trixie-Gloom to break the Substitute, as they say. Still, had Vibrava rained Draco Meteor before Quaking the Earth with the beats of it's rapid wings, things could result more biasedly... ("Hmph, no good food here. Better off hunting elsewhere.")

Well, if we can't hit directly very easily, then lets go for indirect damage. Dance around spreading powder, and then heal up.

Teeter Dance + Poison Powder combo - cooldown - Synthesis

EDIT: Earthquake dealt 11.5 damage last round, not 13, loom's HP has been changed accordingly, sorry.

The Vibrava alterately Flew and Dug, but it cannot help but be so mesmerised by Trixie-Gloom's Dance that it got confused and poisoned by the scattering of PoisonPowder at the same time! Knocking into a nearby bolder in confusion finally did kicked some senses back into the mosquito-dragon, whereupon the walking rafflesia quickly unfurls it petals slightly in the sun, absorbing the light for photoSynthesis- wait, I thought Glooms are supposed to perform chemo istead of photo?

[box]Oh, woe be the skies!
Dragon's droppings raining down,
Trixie's light can't dry it all.

So the sun must come out!
and the Gloom basked,
As Vibrava flew in,
and saw the pollens gather again.

But the light is changing!
Trixie is evolving!
No, said the Vibrava,
She must not!

And thus the earth rolls,
The cow sleeps,
The bull dozes,
And Texas wins [/box]
