Round Two
Sierra, thinking of an early retreat, looks at Trevor, her trainer. They nod to each other, and Trevor returns Sierra to her Poké Ball, replacing her with Red the Chimchar. Red is greeted by the shouting crowds, cheering both him and Swoon on. Red looks at his opponent, the Cupra. He shouts at her, telling her how bad she looks when she moves, while she is actually rather elegant, for a Bug-type at least. She takes this into mind, and starts to buzz uncontrollably, annoying much of the crowd, and especially Red. Red decides that he has had enough of this, and hides behind a doll it makes of itself. Swoon takes it into the air, and throws it hard against the ground, but to no avail; it is still intact. Red jumps up, higher and higher. He lights his foot on fire, and he falls, far, far down. He manages to hit Swoon, burning her to a crisp, but she is still fighting. She starts to buzz again, but stops shortly afterwards, remembering Red's comments and the effects of her buzzing to the crowd earlier. The battling stops, and the smoke clears away, leaving Red and his doll, and the singed Swoon.

Snarl, with the crowd and Red still going wild, bit Red, taking a good chunk of his health from him. Red now shows what he was waiting for — he bites Snarl viciously, with more power than its own attacks.
Red, having gained the momentum, attacks Snarl quickly and goes back around Canis, waiting impatiently. Snarl digs underground, and we can tell that the suspense is building here. A few seconds later, he emerges and knocks Red around the arena, helpless to the attacks.
Red runs up to the canine, using his sharp claws to slash and swipe at Snarl, knocking him around but otherwise not scratching his strong fur. Snarl stops, looks at the sun, and absorbs energy back, with noticeable effects. He seems rejuvenated, with the damage being recovered. Canis seems behind by a long shot — what can he do?

Round Five
Emily the Nohface promptly jumps out of another of Canis's Poké Balls, to face its canine opponent. THE CANINE SPECIMEN… erm, Snarl goes and runs away from its faceless enemy, somewhat creeped out by its lack of a face. I mean, seriously, who wouldn't? Emily spurts much blood and guts out of its faceless area, where a head would be, to try to hit Snarl, but failed, as Snarl was over the other side of the arena.
Snarl now turns to the ranged offensive. He makes a Kanji (or whatever :/ ) with flames, and fires it (npi) at Emily, knocking her back. She retaliates by sending a curse in his direction, but Snarl's tough fur and resistance to weak moves let him tank the attack.
Snarl copies his last attack exactly, throwing the same Kanji at Emily, causing Emily to fall backwards. She appears to be Drowzee… I mean drowsy, already, and yawns loudly, trying to get Snarl to follow suit and take a nap. But, for now, it is over. Dog is even further behind. deadfox081 has solidified his lead.
