first RMT (ou)

ok so ive been doing competitive battling for a while over wifi,and ive tried out a bunch of teams,and with different sets,ev spreads and items,and over the use of those teams ive taken certain pokemon out of those temas that worked against other pokemons counters.out of a years worth fo testing,heres the team i came up with.please post changes i need to make,thanks.teaM at a glance:

@occa berry
adamant nature(+atk-satk)
Evs:252HP/136atk/12def/8spe
ability:clear body
-bullet punch
-meteor mash
-explosion
-stealth rock

Joshe suggested this as a counter to my teams rock weakness and for a counter to many leads,such as mixape.meteor mash is to get the heavy damage,meteor mash is for those damn focus sashers,and the occa berry is for resistance against fire attacks.it has decent defence and can switch in on something setting up,only to watch them die.it seems like a very sturdy lead as always being able to get stealth rock down.thanks again,joshe.

205_forretress_1_m.png
@shell bell
impish nature(+def-satk)
Ev's:252HP/252def/6atk
ability:sturdy
-rapid spin
-spikes
-gyro ball
-explosion

I choose fortress over skarmory because whenever i used skarm,he would always be beaten and have no counters to the defending pokemon.Plus fortress has better defence,hp,and a better movepool.sure,it doesnt have a healing move or a phazing move like whirlwind,but he has spikes,gyro ball and rapid spin and he can explode to get rid of a big threat.one of my old teams main counters were mixape,but now ive got a few conters to him.fortress is my setup/support/waller and is a huge help in a way of taking physical hits,spinning away rocks and spikes,and taking little damage coming into them.

130_gyarados_1_m.png
@leftovers
adamant nature(+atk-satk)
ability:intimidate
Ev's:252atk/252spe/6hp
-dragon dance
-ice fang
-earthquake
-waterfall

Offensive gyarados set FTW!this thing is a beast,even after just one dragon dance.intimidate helps on coming in on the opposing pokemon while pretty much always getting in a dragon dance since everything exept electric pokemon that are faster than him run in fear before getting their ass whooped.with the leftovers over life orb,he can stay in the game longer,to sweep more.over all,if this thing is used right,it destroys everything in its path.

242_blissey_1_f.png
@leftovers
bold nature(+spd-atk)
ability:natural cure
Evs:252hp/252def/6satk
-twave
-siesmic toss
-ice beam
-softbioled

Shes got the name for number one special wall in the game for a reason,and she deserves it.She absorbs special hits like a complete monster and with 405 sp def and 714 hp,its hard to bring this thing down(unless its a physical sweeper)and if a physical sweeper does show up,as long as its not electivire,the chopple berry will allow me to paralyze it,if its not a fighting move,she waddles herself the hell out of there.seismic toss can slowly wear down anything but ghosts,flamethrower is for special sweeping lucarios and softboiled is to heal when low on HP.one of the most useful pokemon,for definate.

094_gengar_1_m.png
@choice scarf
timid nature(+spe-atk)
ability:levitate
Evs:252spe/252satk/6hp
-hidden power ice
-focus blast
-shadow ball
-thunderbolt

He has been my favorite pokemon since kanto,and is one of the best revenge killers with all this speed and wide movepool.he can come in on almost anything and dish out major pain with shadow ball,and for those fat snorlaxes who like to come in on him,ive got focus blast up my sleeve.hidden power ice is there to stop dragons,and flyers,and t-bolt is there to take care of vaporeon.i cant say much more about this thing exept it is amazing,and usually saves the match for me if things start to go wrong.He is by far,the star of the team.

373_salamence_1_m.png
@life orb
adamant nature(+atk-satk)
ability:intimidate
Evs:252atk/252spe/6def
-dragon dance
-stone edge
-earthquake
-outrage

The point of having this thing is to either sweep,or get in their and cuase as much damage before fainting.I chose the adamant nature over a mixmence,mostly because i wanted to do as much damage as i could without even having to set up(even though it would be better to get a dd or 2 in)and he gets that job done well.outrage destroys anything not resistant to it or is not named skarmory or fortress(those bastards get 2hko'd)and dragon dance is in there to start a sweep.if i wanted a more longr lasting mence(wich i dont)i would have max atk and hp with roost and dragon claw intead of stone edge and outrage,but this way he gets more coverage.

Well,thats the team,tell me what you thought of it and what i need to change,thanks in advance for the feedback.

@focus sash
jolly nature(+spe-satk)
Ev's:252atk/252spe/6hp
ability:rock head
-tuant
-stealth rock
-earthquake
-stone edge

In my opinion,aerodactyl is one of the best leads out there,considering that he can out speed any lead that is not scarfed(and some that are) and always get the rocks up.his only check that can completly ruin him if he doesnt set up the rocks first turn is the lead metagross.Aero can either stay in and take out the other lead or switch in to keep safe for when i need him later.Other than a lead,after hes done his job he makes for a great late game sweeper.

You've got nothing that resists rock, and rock is super effective on both of your sweepers. Try a bronzong over the forretress, you lose rapid spin, toxic spikes and spikes, but you aren't running a stall team, so you can lose some of those. In return you patch a huge whole in your defense, and probably get screen support or something like that depending on the zong you use.

EDIT: also, scarfed reverge killers are not that good, because they can just send in another sweeper that resists whatever you're trying to kill with, set up again and kill another one of your pokes. gengar is fast enough without a scarf

Alright lets see what we can do here. Aerodactyl is so oudateed in a metagame with bulky leads and scarfed anti-leads, rendering him completely useless. For this i suggest Metagross:

Metagross @ Occa Berry
Clearbody
Evs: 252 Hp/236 atk/12 def/8 spe
Adamant
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion/Meteor Mash

Metagross is one of the most reliable leads today, almost guaranteed to set up Stealth Rock every time, and to deal with the other common leads. He runs Occa Berry(fire resist), along with earthquake, to take out Infernapes and heatrans, as well as helping you against other Metas. Bullet punch helps with those suicide leads after you've broken their Focus sash, and it also 2HKOes Aerodactyl. Explosion is here for you to explode when your opponent brings in a sweeper like Gyarados, who thinks you're set up bait, only to watch them die. The only lead this really loses too is azelf, only being able to 3HKO it with BP, which is why I put Meteor Mash as an option over explosion to take care of it if it gives you trouble(although you do lose the ability to do a lot of harm with the said explosion). He also gives you a rock resist on this team.

Next is Forretress. It's really unwise to have both spikes and Toxic spikes on the same Pokemon, and if you get taunted, you'll only be able to either rapid spin, switch out, or explode, with the first two giving your opponent a free turn of set up which is not a good idea in this fast paced metagame. So you'll have to decide on one. I suggest you only have spikes, the superior option being able to affect steels. Replace tho other with either Gyro ball or earthquake so you can hit Tyranitar for super effective damage.

Gyarados would love to have a Jolly nature and the spread 32 hp/252 atk/224 spe, enough to outspeed Scarfed Heatran and Jolteon so it can't ruin you sweep. Also ice fang does pitiful damage on celebi, which is the only thing you'll really use it on, so i suggest you replace it with either Stone Edge or Bounce, with the latter getting stab and hitting celebi really hard, and Stone Edge for Salamence, and other Gyarados'. It all comes down to which bugs you more.

Ok Blissey needs work. You absolutely have to have 252 evs in defense to atleast give it a chance against physical attacks. Honestly 56 defense is crap. the Spread I suggest is: 252 Def/80 Spatk/176 SpDef, and GIVE IT LEFTOVERS. Blissey won't be surviving much fighting attacks even with the fighting resist. This allow her to become an all around great wall.

Gengar is fine. Salamence works much better when you have Fire Blast, as the probability of steels is too great, and with your Mence any steel can easily wall it, namely Skarmory and Bronzong. To remedy this make him naughty, and give him 232 Atk/24 SpAtk/252 Spe Along with Fire Blast>Stone Edge. With those Spatk evs you'll be able to OHKO min SpDef Skarmory with Stealth Rock. He makes an amazing sweeper with those steels gone as nothing can survive a +2 Outrage.

Anyway, I hope I helped, and If you need anything else or don't understand some of this9as it is alot to read) just post back here and we'll help. Good Luck and have fun!

what zong set would you suggest?

Bronzong @ Light Clay/Leftovers (up to you on whether you want the screen support).
Levitate
252 HP / 152 Atk / 8 Def / 96 SpD. 0 speed IVs
Relaxed Nature
- Reflect/Hypnosis
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion

on hypnosis go with leftovers, on reflect go with light clay

With Metagross you do have a rock resist, so all bronzong would be good for is to set up Screens, helping gyarados and salamence sweep. Forretress helps with setup hazards and makes it harder for the opponent to switchin and out, giving you more chances. its your choice.
