Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 coming to PS3 and 360

Just saw this on Slowtaku, I was jubilant.

Definitely downloading the demo on Thursday, I'm really happy 'cause I have a gaming party that same night.

Buy a Jasper unit. The RE5 Elite bundles, the upcoming Halo 3 + Fable 2 Elite bundles, and newer Arcade units are all Jaspers. Google it if you wanna know how to tell.

And yeah, this is an announcement that I've been waiting for the official word on for months now =p I'll be downloading the PSN demo this week. Will have to decide what system I buy it on though. Might get it on both.
 
I really liked how smooth the joystick was on the controller for Dreamcast. If something was like... five thousand directions that had some form of progression, you could just use the stick there and make a few circles and pwn your friends.
 
I'll be playing it on PS3 (gamesharing yay) and maybe 360 too. I turned on my PS3 for the demo just now but apparently they update at around 2PM Pacific =(
 
Definitely PS3 version for me. I don't have a 360, but even if I did, the PS3 is the only way to go unless you're willing to get a fightstick. Those goddamn D-pads on the 360 are just way too awful.

Fuck a fight stick. Someone mentioned Sega Genesis controller? Yeah, same thing basically, except with a much better d-pad :)
 
I've never had one of those, but I thought they looked interesting. How tough are double-button presses (both horizontal and vertical) on that?
 
Yeah, this is going to be awesome. I've got the dreamcast version so I can practise, practise, practise, up until when this comes out. PS3 for me, too.

Honestly, I'd rather play on a standard Dualshock than one of those fightpads, certain button presses are almost impossible to do on that. And it looks like I'll be doing just that since I busted my hori stick.

2009 is such an awsome year for fighters :D SFIV, Marvel, BlazBlu, KoFXII, and Tekken 6 in the fall.
 
I will be playing on a PS3 instead of an XBox IF I can find one of the everything with them 60 or 80 gigabytes instead of the new shittier machines; I resent Microsoft charging for wifi!

kholdstaire: I've actually heard that some of the fightpads were kind of faulty (especially the rubber pad).

Surgo: I saw a good price for a Salubi stick. I'll try to fetch the site for you in a bit (its in Korean though).

I really fucking hate Microsoft's lock-down on controllers, makes it a huge pain in the ass to build your own stick for the 360.
 
You could wait for the Marvel vs Capcom 2 sticks that were leaked a little while ago on an Australian retailer website. The fightpads were listed so I'm assuming there'll be sticks too. Pad art was Ryu vs Wolverine, Mega Man vs Iron Man, Strider vs I think Spider Man, and something else.
