This team was built by me, and Grind Pantera, but it still needs work. This team was built to take down common threats and do serious damage to walls. (*** is a change)

The Lead:
385.png

Jirachi
@Choice Scarf
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Serene Grace
EV's: 74 HP, 252 Attack, 184 Speed

Moves:
-Iron Head
-Stealth Rock
-Trick
-U-turn

Overview:
Jirachi, the God of hax, makes a great anti-lead. With a 60% chance of flinching it often times completely defeats common leads such as: Aerodactly and Azelf. It also can trick slower leads locking them into a move. Jirachi also seems to survive more than the explosive lead metagame allowing me to trick certain walls that give me trouble. All in all Jirachi is a great lead and asset to the team.

The Boosting Sweeper:
499.png

Rotom-H
@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 64 HP, 232 Special Attack, 212 Speed

Moves:
-Substitute
-Charge Beam
-Hidden Power (Fighting)
-Shadow Ball

Overview:
The Rotom boosting set is a great adversary to any team. To stall teams it is a pain, The 64 HP Evs allow it to not have its subs broken by Blissey's attacks and allow it to charge up. Hidden Power Fighting is for tyranitar. The Heat form allows him to threaten pokemon by possing as either the standard will-o-wisp set or by forcing switches with its "Overheat." It also has many resistances and allows me to keep my rocks up as an anti-spinner.

The Great Wall:
130.png

Gyarados
@Leftovers
Nature: Careful***
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252 HP, 100 Defense***, 156 Sp Defense***

Moves:
-Waterfall
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Roar

Overview:
This gyarados set is simply amazing. Roar lets me phaze pokes trying to set up and baton pass for a sweep or even an already set up gyara or salamence. It counters many standard threats like: Heatran, Scizor, and Lucario, this allows me to use the rest of the team to its full advantage. Sleep Talk also allows me to gyarados as a great sleep absorber.

The Revenge Killing Scarfer:
380.png

Latias
@Choice Scarf
Nature: Modest***
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 6 HP, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed

Moves:
Draco Meteor
Trick***
Surf
Thunderbolt

Overview:
Latias is an excellent revenge killer, killing pokemon hitting even scarfed 350 speed pokes. It also acts as a reliable Salamence/Gyarados check and does major damage to pokemon who dont resist its stabbed moves. It also cleans up well late game.

The Dynamic Sweeper:
68.png

Machamp
@Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: No Guard
EV's: 128 HP, 252 Attack, 128 Speed

Moves:
-Substitute
-Dynamicpunch
-Stone Edge
-Payback

Overview:
This pokemon often becomes the MVP of the team. With his unmissable Dpunches causing my opponents to not hit 50% of the time. Stone edge for flyers and Payback for rotoms and gengar when behind a sub. He deals massive blows to stall teams aswell.

The Subsitute Creature:
490.png

Heatran
@Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Ability: Flash Fire
EV's: 6 HP, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed

Moves:
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Substitute
-Toxic

Overview:
The Change from Scarf to Substitute has done wonders for this team, there is no longer a problem with bulky waters and gives me great support from behind a sub. It is a monster and can even take down blissey if it needs to.

Thank you for reading, please give me suggestions and please rate this team needs it.

I think Latias should only have one Dragon attack and Trick instead. Trick is very useful for crippling things like Blissey, Suicune, Curselax, etc.

Props for using SubChamp. This is one of my favorite pokes. I have been using 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe though. I also find that he pairs extremely well with Scarf Latias because he can set up all day on Choice locked Pursuits and Blissey.

I second dropping dragon Pulse for trick to cripple the walls. I would also suggest making latias modest, you still outspeed what you need to, and it also has the advantage of hitting foes harder, one notable benefit is that you always OHKO a 4HP salamence with a -2 draco meteor after SR and you have a 33.33% chance of OHKOing a 4HP, once calm minded latias with draco meteor after SR damage.

For gyarados, Careful, 156 Sp. def, 100 Def, 252 Hp is a spread I have found to be very useful, so you may want to test that out.

Otherwise, this team looks good, In particular, I really like how you've covered your bases against stall and offense very well, with a mix of speed, wall breakers and that defensive gyarados as your core. The only note I would have to say is when playing stall teams, Charge beaming first may be beneficial and then substituting. I would also watch out for the hippowdon/swampert switch after you have subbed against blissey. But yeah, this team looks quite nice, I wish you the best of the luck with it.

I have no idea why you have such low rates on the poll. It's a nice team.

I third the use of Trick on Latias lol. However I wouldn't go Modest. Latias likes being faster than Infernape and the OHKOing other CM Latias is nice and all, but they'll likely be Timid and outspeed you. It would be easier to just handle it with Scarfed Jirachi.

On Gyarados, I'm fairly sure 248 HP would be better. It allows you to switch into SR that extra time.

The only thing I could see you having trouble with is a smart SpecsJolteon, and MixMence if it comes in after Machamp has killed something and isn't behind a substitute. Aside from that, you have most of your weaknesses covered.

Latias is already faster then infernape and other latias due to the scarf (and you really should only be tricking versus defensive-based teams anyway).

Oh and I should add, it may be worth test Ice Punch on jirachi for the OHKO on salamence (and it helps vs latias if you have tricked your scarf away).

I thought I was a genius with SubChamp, because I've been using it but not seeing any on opposing teams, now all these RMTs have him. =p

I think that using Choice Scarf on Heatran is a bit redundant, especially since you have Gyarados to deal with Lucario and Rotom for Scizor. Therefore, it warrants removal and replacement with something else. Perhaps you could use a Subtran set. It would help out this team quite a bit, as you have the bulk and recovery necessary to make use of Toxic. Or, you could simply use Explosion in the last slot if you don't like Toxic. Either way, the point is to make the team more consistent and limit opportunities for opposing Gyarados and Salamence to set up on Earth Powers or Fire Blasts in the case of Gyarados.

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid / Naive
- Substitute
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Toxic / Explosion
---

If you don't like this, then Lucario pairs well with Latias, and can be used instead. I recommend the Swords Dancer set, if only because SpecsLuke isn't that great on this team.

EDIT: Specsluke could be good as a lure if Machamp is the designated sweeper.

Overall, it's a nice team.

Well, the issue is that if you're already got checks on the stuff that you intend Heatran for, it's rather useless outside of just being another revenge killer. I agree that Lucario might also be redundant, and that Machamp is a good enough sweeper. But maybe you could employ Specsluke as a lure for stuff like Skarmory and Gyarados, who often give Machamp problems.

Ive begun to realize that this team has major issues with Gengar in general and Latias late game. Any suggestions or tips to outplay them in the midst of battle?

this team is acually pretty good.

only problem is, I suggest you to take out latias and subs it in for Flygon, Scarf set, so you can scout out teams with u-turn. and put machamp like 252 atk. 200 HP, 56 Def or Sp.Def.

Reason why I say this is because,
first off... You'll get hit alot from thunder moves, no matter if you have a rotom. Second, I think its Useless to use latias in that team, Just that team. So put in Flygon instead so you can resist electricity. Not even that, you have protection for gyrados because of it. Then put machamp that Ev set because, you have Payback.. if you have payback, it would be better if your slower instead of faster because either way payback will let you always hit second (I believe). and its much better for a machamp to be more tankish then having speed. Machamp is just orginally slow. So no point of putting Speed Ev's.

Also change heatran into naive. Let it have Hidden power ice/grass. I prefer Ice over grass anytime, but its your choice. Then let it have explosion for anything your going to have a hard time killing, like a gyrados for instants. Also let it have Life orb.

I hope I helped. Good luck
