Never tried a stall team before, so I figured it would be a good experience.
1. Tentacruel
ability:liquid ooze
item: focus sash
nature: calm
evs: 252HP, 120 defense, 136 spd
attacks: toxic spikes, hydro pump, rapid spin, sludge bomb
notes: I put Hydro pump over surf because I'm willing to take the risk. Other wise its a usual the spike set up.
2.
pokemon: gliscor
ability: hyper cutter
item: leftovers
nature: impish
evs: 252hp, 40 defense, 216 speed
attacks: earthquake, stealth rock, stone edge, roost
notes: I have no sandstorm support, so sand veil is no good. As for the rest, its just a basic stall set.
3.
pokemon: blissey
ability: natural cure
item: leftovers
nature: bold
evs: 252 defense, 108 spD, 148 spA
attacks: Fire blast, ice beam, softboiled, aromatherepy
notes: ya, this again. same 'ole bliss with fire blast over flamethrower. I take risks.
4.
pokemon: Metagross
ability: clear body
item:leftovers
nature: careful
evs: 110 hp, 148 defense, 252 spD
attacks: rest, sleep talk, iron defense, meteor mash
notes: my new creation (maybe someone else has also made one, but I haven't seen it). Its a great defensive wall, but three things hinder it. 1. It cant stand good special attacks still. 2.no good recovery, leaving me stuck with rest. 3. Meteor mash can hit anything, but not well. Its strong though, so I can deal with it. Its been doing well, but needs some improvements.
5.
pokemon: Skarmory
ability: keen eye
item: leftovers
nature: impish
evs: 252hp, 72 defense, 184 speed
attacks: whirlwind, toxic, roost, taunt
notes: this depends on toxic/ toxic spikes, but it works well on any non-steel/poison type pokemon. Also, it works well with blissey and a couple other pokemon i have.
6.
pokemon: empoleon
ability: torrent
item: petaya berry
nature: modest
evs: 12HP, 12 defense, 232 speed, 232 spA
attacks: substitute, agility, ice beam, surf
notes: a good late game sweeper, this guy finishes my matches up, and also is my only form of instant offence.
final thoughts: its a decent team and its fared well in battle, but too often a fire type ravages through my team. Im thinking about adding a gyarados over skarmory, but then three water types isnt good. Anyways, thanks in advance.
