Pokemon weight

Those pages are missing lc pokemon and other nfes that are relevant to uu and nu (It's on my to do list), more importantly it is just a little less accessable than it would be on the pokemon page. Maybe if we start adding other semi competitive info like egg group or base happiness/exp (perhaps on a separate dex tab like cap pokemon have) this could be worth it, but currently it seems at best not at all a priority.

I could support adding a category like "Grass Knot / Low Kick power", but adding specific weights is pointless.

I think the GK/LK power being immediately visible would be a good thing, since it'd be the most efficient way to find the information. Weight would almost make things more complicated, since you'd stare at it for a second and then be like "wait what's the weight cut-off again...?" and have to check the move page anyway.

Adding "Grass Knot / Low Kick power" could help alot, for example-It could help someone decide if they want to run jolly instead of adament nature on DD tyranitar to outrun starmie (fearing grass knot).

Personally, if I was going to code this, I would internally store the weight of the Pokemon, but for display purposes calculate the power of GK/LK and show those. This would have the benefit of supporting future moves (I hate to speculate, but in this case it is worthwhile to "future proof" the code for later generations) by being able to simply code a new weight to damage table and adding that to the display template.

With that, I am going to close this and add it to our sticky thread that contains accepted, good ideas.

Please keep in mind that inclusion on that list does not denote priority or schedule!

It should also be noted that the Smogon Damage Calculator automatically determines the correct base power of Low Kick and Grass Knot for every single pokemon (LC/NFE pokes included). If I were interested in the BP of these moves on every pokemon, I would simply use the SDC since it is every bit as quick and handy a reference as are our analyses, especially since my interest would most of the time be due to wanting to actually do a calculation anyway, but that's just me.
