Why not make Firebot partially accessible to the general public?

The title says it all. Why not? The scale I'm thinking of is: old threads and stickied threads. That would allow the public to see some of Firebot, but not all, and would coax some people to join.
 
chaos puts Smogon on his resume, and it would be awful when the person comes to check out the website and stumbles upon firebot and then decides not to hire him simply because there's a thread about all of the users' porn folders.

So no Firebot being visible to guests isn't a good idea
 
Aside from what Genny said, can you imagine the spam if people could post without having to create an account first?
 
No-one's advocating letting unregistered users post.

But still I'm against. People join forums because they have something they want to say. Do we want people joining and making their first post in firebot?
