General Tournament Rules
Signups
Round 1

This is a Single Elimination 128 player tournament.



Standard Rules:
  • Sleep Clause
  • Freeze Clause
  • Evasion Clause
  • OHKO Clause
  • Self-KO Clause
  • Species Clause
  • No Ubers may be used
  • The winner of each match must save the battle log and PM it to me.

Special Rules (please read carefully):
  • All six Pokemon on your team must have the mono type you are using.
  • At the beginning of Round 1, all players will be given a single random type. They must use this type in Round 1.
  • After you win your match, and before the next round begins, you may choose to drop your type and receive new types to choose from. The number of types you will be able to choose from will increase by one each round, beginning from two after Round 1.
  • You must PM me your chosen type from the types PMed to you.
  • Each player's designated type will remain private. Do not attempt to find out what your opponent has against their will.

About Type Changes
  • Each player should right now have a single type which they can use. I have a spreadsheet with each player's single current type.
  • Before the end of each round, if you want to change your type, you should PM me to tell me you want to change types.
  • If you PM me before the end of the round telling me you want to change types, you will be sent x types were x is the next round (i.e. If you send a type request change this round, you will receive three random types to choose from, because next round is Round 3).
  • You will NOT be able to retain your previous type if you choose to change types.
  • You will NOT be given a choice of types if you did not submit a request to me before the end of the round.
  • You do NOT have to already have played your match to send a request to change type. If you are eliminated, you won't have a chance to use it next round, but if you are not eliminated, then you will.
  • You may start using your newly selected type during the NEXT round.
 
I've VM'd LiNAInVeRsE again, as, apparently, he is ready. We should get this done prolly today or tommorow. Hopefully.
 
Waiting on stylish interval to get on and we will get this done! =)

Edit 2: Types can only be requested after your match is finished, right? I just want to make sure...

Edit 3: Won 4-0 against a type I never thought I could beat. GG, dude!
 
Ok, it's now too late to request a type change. Due to me being unavailable for most of today, I'm giving people until I get back (about 6 hours) to choose from the types offered to them. The pairings will be up as soon as I get back.

gonna be playing joel in about 14 hours, assuming my isp doesn't kill my connection again!

Im not too sure what you mean by all of today, ill be on for a few more hours today but i think we have very different time zones because the day isnt half way through.
 
Round 2 Pairings have now been posted. The people that had requested a new type but hadn't confirmed which of the two options they would choose will receive one of the two at random shortly.
 
Lol gg, came down to a coin flip in the end, would have preferred to change type but what can you do. GG
 
Would have won, but Ice-Eyes got some annoying hax and I thought I had one item when it was truly another.
