Introduction
As some of you might know my teams are Hail stall most of the time. Looking at the RMT forums these days you will see alot of Hail teams "retiring" from gen 4 so I decided to postpone my final Hail team untill all of my efficient gen 4 team are covered. Instead I bring a different kind of team today. It isn't Hail nor Stall but it's a team based on a Sub Petaya Agility Empoleon sweep. In other words, kinda offensive. I didn't ladder with this team to much but this was my main team when I was still playing Wifi battles. It did reasonably well. I choose the other team members on the assist they could give to Empoleon and the fact they could lure out Empoleon counters and take them out. I opted for giving the team a little lay out of the latest Halo game, Halo Reach. In the game you play as a member of a six person squad called Noble team. This team is based on each of those members. I hope you will like this team, enjoy.

~ Hidden Power [Ground]
Roserade starts of this team. Basicly for one reason only, Toxic Spikes. Toxic Spikes will give Empoleon the power to plow through special walls such as Blissey and Thick Fat Snorlax. Roserade also fairs well against common leads so I can put them to Sleep and thanks to her pretty decent speed stat and Focus Sash I will get up 2 layers of Toxic Spikes up on most occassions. Leaf Storm and Hidden Power [Ground] are there to have some offensive moves and with max special attack EV's they will hurt. The lack of Poison types in OU make Toxic Spikes a good option anyway.

~ Earthquake
~ Ice Beam
Swampert is one bulky pokemon and because of that he makes a fine candidate for using Stealth Rock. Stealth Rock is very useful as it deals 25% to Flying types that are immune to Toxic Spikes. Swampert's bulk is also really appreciated as he is needed to counter a variety of threats. Earthquake and Ice Beam as offensive moves provide almost perfect coverage and with Roar in his moveset Swampert is prevented to become set up fodder.

Dragonite is my wallbreaker and a damn good one if I might say so myself. Common pokemon on stall teams such as the SkarmBliss combo are beaten pretty easily. Dragonite usually comes out early in the game to damage a lot of opposing pokemon to make it easier for my sweepers to start sweeping. Don't be fooled by the fact that I'm using a Mild nature as Dragonite still remains a fairly bulky pokemon and if needed I can Roost stall my opponent if Toxic Spikes are up. At first I had ExtremeSpeed instead of Roost but since I don't have a spinner and Life Orb recoil builds up fast Dragonite was less threatening in the long run and I never really used ExtremeSpeed that much. Draco Meteor is an immensly strong STAB move that will hurts most non-Steel type pokemon. Flamethrower and Superpower are two powerful moves that can deal with defensive opposition on both sides of the spectrum.

My team initially missed some speed and a decent pokemon suited for revenge kill actions. That's where Rotom-W comes in action. I allows me to revenge kill pokemon like DD Gyarados and Heatran. With Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball and Hydro Pump as offensive moves I have pretty good coverage while Trick allows me to screw over a pokemon that might give me some problems. I choose the washer variant since that one makes it harder for Tyranitar to switch in and Pursuit me to death. Hydro Pump is in my opinion also the "best" move a Rotom appliance can have. To a lesser extend Rotom-W also acts as a Spin Block so Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock stay on the field.

~ Close Combat
Infernape is my lure for bulky waters. As Empoleon cannot touch them it is essential they are taken out before Empoleon starts sweeping. Infernape lures out bulky waters and takes most of them out with a +2 Grass Knot. But Nasty Plot Infernape can be such a strong pokemon that he has ended many matches for me without Empoleon ever being used. I choose the standard NP Ape from the Strategydex but with Close Combat instead of Vaccum Wave so he's not walled by special walls.

Empoleon is the star of the team. With the right support he can be one of the deadliest pokemon there is. A Torrent Surf boosted by Petaya Berry and Empoleon amazing special attack stat makes even Blissey trimble in fear. I think you are all familiar with the strategy behind this set so that doesn't need an explination. With Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock on the field, bulky waters taken out by Infernape and opposing pokemon weakened by Dragonite, Empoleon guarantees my victory.
