[Overview]

  • has good attack and speed to make for a strong sweeper
  • both of its abilities are excellent
  • no real set-up moves outside of claw sharpen
  • pretty shallow movepool, but it has what it needs (although it would like Sucker Punch)
[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Trickery
move 3: Stone Edge
move 4: Pursuit / Return
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Overconfident
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 36 HP / 180 Atk / 236 Spe

Set Description:

  • Tries to take advantage of Meguroko's ability by snagging a revenge kill and then being very hard to stop thanks to a +1 attack boost
  • very good coverage with edgequake + trickery
  • Adamant is the better nature since it needs the power boost more than it needs the speed boost
Additional Comments:
  • Mantyke is an excellent partner thanks so fantastic defensive synergy
  • spikes/sr work very well to get Pokemon down into KO range
  • Hippopotas is also a great partner to wear down Pokemon from SS making it easier to KO them
[SET]
name: Non-choiced attacker
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Trickery
move 3: Stone Edge
move 4: Substitute
item: Oran Berry / Life Orb
ability: Intimidate / Overconfident
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 36 HP / 180 Atk / 236 Spe

Set comments:
  • Uses intimidate to force switches to either sub or outright attack
  • great to lure out pokemon like scyther who would want to switch in on a choiced EQ but end up getting subbed on and nailed by stone edge
  • berry juice gives it good bulk, especially alongside intimidate
Additional Comments:
  • Overconfident works too, but you have a harder time subbing
  • Adamant is probably the better nature since it really likes the power boost and 16 to 17 speed doesnt outspeed all that much
  • Salac berry could work too
Counters:
  • Gunks switches on anything that isnt EQ
  • Bronzor is a good one but is hit hard by trickery
  • Gigar (kinda)
  • Hippopotas (kinda)
  • Snover but it cant switch in on Stone Edge

You should mention Claw Sharpen somewhere other than in the Overview...

Also, "Substitue"

Also, what does Sandy do with Adamant? Because if it doesn't provide significant OHKOs/2HKOs, speed-tying with Chinchou, Mankey, Goldeen, Houndour, Smoochum, Drifloon, Carvanha, Surskit, and Onix isn't a bad idea. Especially Houndour and Chinchy and Floon.
