Traditional Japanese Dojo

This dojo has been around for centuries, but remains in peak condition. The floor is made of soft mats, with a hardboard flooring underneath. It is a four walled, closed area. On the edges of the dojo are shallow pools of water originally used for decoration. The pools provide water, but are too shallow to dive in. The walls are covered in beautiful ivy. Since the floor is primarily cushion and hard wood, it is impossible to dig through it or find a sustainable area to cause quakes with. Evidently, a magical seal has been placed upon the dojo, preventing all types of weather from disrupting the peace and honor of the dojo.
Summary of Restrictions: No diving under water, no weather, no Dig / Earthquake.

All right, first double battle for me! Let's hope this goes well.

I send out Lumber the Timburr and Splinter the Skorupi!

Hmmm...okay. Sending out Hardhead the Aron and Chuck Norris the Machop.

Hardhead, start out with a Rock Polish. Then rush in and Head Smash Splinter, then knock Splinter back with another speedy Head Smash.

Chuck Norris, your job is to cover Hardhead. Shoot a Focus Blast at the ground in front of you to create a shockwave while he Rock Polishes, then shoot a Fire Blast at Lumber. Then get in close and hit Lumber with Close Combat.

Hardhead: Rock Polish~Head Smash~Head Smash

Chuck Norris: Focus Blast~Fire Blast~Close Combat

All right, Splinter, Lumber, I want you two to work together in order to stop these heavy attacks from hitting you. It's going to take a lot of concentration, but as the men in the party, you guys have the power!

Splinter, you're the fastest Pokemon out there on the field right now. I want you to give Hardhead your Scary-est Face on Hardhead before he tries to use Rock Polish, so it neuters the move. Then, follow up with a Confuse Ray on Chuck Norris, to mess up his eminent Round House kicks. Then use Swords Dance and prepare for the next turn.

Lumber, take this time to Bulk Up to help with some of the blows coming soon. Then, use Drain Punch on Hardhead, followed by another Drain Punch!

Splinter:
Scary Face (Aron) -> Confuse Ray (Machop) -> Swords Dance

Lumber:
Bulk Up -> Drain Punch (Aron) -> Drain Punch (Aron)

The contestants find themselves inside a traditional Japanese dojo. Chuck Norris and Lumber feel right at home, while Hardhead and Splinter find themselves slightly constrained by the walls and ceiling.

Hardhead is immediately met with a Scary Face from Splinter, enough to lower his speed. Before Chuck Norris can Focus Blast, he is met with a Confuse Ray from Splinter, and starts to feel dazed.

Lumber starts doing some heavy lifting, clearly Bulking Up and Chuck Norris manages to snap out of his confusion long enough to fire off a Focus Blast in front of the ground. The resulting shock wave is taken advantage of by Hardhead, and he Rock Polishes his speed back to normal levels. Nonetheless, Lumber still attempts to run at him preparing a Drain Punch through the shock wave and misses. He is driven back by Chuck Norris' Fire Blast but still comes back in for one last attack, draining Aron's HP. Unluckily, the Fire Blast leaves a residual burn on Lumber.

Hardhead attempts a Head Smash on Splinter and the attack hits solidly, dazing Skorupi momentarily. Chuck, enraged, comes rushing back in with a Close Combat, smashing him to the ground at the cost of some of his defensive prowess. Lastly, Hardhead smashes Head Smashes one more time but misses.

Alone in a corner Splinter seems to be dancing with swords. An odd ritual but it increases his attacking prowess.

...well, even I'm not entirely sure about what the heck just happened, fellas, but we'll just roll with it anyway!

Good job, Lumber and Splinter! Way to keep in time with each other and set your opponents at bay. Now it's time to take advantage of everything that just happened for a turn of brute force!

Splinter, remember using Swords Dance last turn to boost your stats? Now that Chuck Norris let down his defenses after a Close Combat, it's time to strike hard and heavy with Poison Jab, followed by another Poison Jab! This should prevent Chuck Norris from firing off Close Combat for a while as well. On the last turn, use Confuse Ray on Chuck Norris to try and stop damage from being dealt for a few turns.

Lumber, the Burn caused by Fire Blast activates your Guts! That's great news, and only helps you out in this situation! Now, you've taken some fairly heavy damage, so I want you to use get up close to Hardhead and deliver a hefty Guts-boosted Drain Punch! Then use Bulk Up to tighten your muscles to get a nice boost in, and use Drain Punch again!

If Hardhead tries to use Roar on turn two, use Detect instead!

Splinter:
Poison Jab (Chuck Norris) -> Poison Jab (Chuck Norris) -> Confuse Ray

Lumber:
Drain Punch (Hardhead) -> Bulk Up -> Drain Punch (Hardhead)
OR IF ROAR ON TURN TWO
Drain Punch (Hardhead) -> Detect -> Drain Punch (Hardhead)

EDIT:
The difference with my moves is that Lumber now gets a Guts boost. Remember that!

Whoops, sorry, applied the burn to the wrong Pokemon. Feel free to change your actions after I fix that.

EDIT: All right. Hardhead, as Splinter gets over to Chuck Norris intercept it with two consecutive Head Smashes. Then surround yourself with a Rock Tomb in order to stop the Drain Punch.

Chuck Norris, you're going mano a mano with Lumberr once again. Hit it with Focus Blast three times, make sure you keep it away from you and Hardhead if possible.

Hardhead:

Head Smash~Head Smash~Rock Tomb

Chuck Norris:

Focus Blast~Focus Blast~Focus Blast

just wanted to say to you guys that i'm totally sorry about the lack of reffing from last night, my internet's being fixed and should be back later tonight at which poinr i cna probably get back on a regular reffing schedule.

typing on a phone, please excuse typos.

Sorry to do this, but I think we need to find another ref for this battle. I've simply got too much on my plate right now to get this done.

edit: looks like destiny warrior's taking over.

Splinter rushes towards Chuck Norris, and manages to sneak in a swift Poison Jab before it can be counterattacked. At the same time, Timburr moves in for a hit on Aron. Hardhead attempts to Head Smash Splinter, but is a shade late and instead collides into Timburr, who does not manage to get a full Drain Punch in, but still partly connects. During all this chaos, Chuck Norris fires a Focus Blast on Timburr, sending it a bit more backwards.

While Chuck Norris is recovering from using Focus Blast, both Hardhead and Splinter move in with a Head Smash and a Poison Jab the same time, and collide, both falling to the ground. At the same time, Lumber Bulks up, boosting its Attack and Defense, while taking another Focus Blast to the face.

Instead of trying to hit Machop again, Splinter chooses to use Confuse Ray, and both Hardhead and Chuck Norris totter around. Lumber takes the chance to hit Hardhead with a Drain Punch head on, but is slowed down by the Rock Tomb Hardhead managed to build, letting only around half of teh Drain Punch hit. CHuck Norris fires a Focus Blast through the confusion, but Dokkora is prepared and manages to hold out against the attack.

Okay, let's do this.

Chuck Norris, your job consists of keeping Lumberr away from Hardhead. Dash in and hit him with Thunderpunch before he can get to Hardhead, then use Close Combat to knock him away and Focus Blast to get him still farther.

Thunderpunch~Close Combat~Focus Blast

Hardhead, you're finishing off Splinter. Use Head Smash on it until it dies. Once it faints, begin using Rock Polish.

Head Smash~Head Smash~Head Smash
Change to Rock Polish once Splinter faints

Lumber, Splinter, we don't have to deal with this "interfering" stuff. We're going to fight defense with speed!

Lumber, you have a Guts and a Bulk Up boost. That should give you exactly enough damage for a KO on Hardhead with Mach Punch, even after Sturdy. (It does 16 damage.)

Then, you're going to have three straight turns of attacks from Chuck Norris. I want you to buffer the hits with two consecutive Drain Punches while also causing massive damage!

Splinter, for some reason, you have a 100% chance of surviving this round! Start with a Swords Dance, then follow up with to consecutive Poison Jabs to Chuck Norris!

So:

Lumber:
Mach Punch (Hardhead) for a KO! -> Drain Punch -> Drain Punch

Splinter:
Swords Dance -> Poison Jab -> Poison Jab

Lumber rushes forward before anybody else can react, Mach Punching Hardhead away. His proves too much for Chuck Norris to bear, and he ThunderPunches Chuck Norris, and it is a critical hit. During the commotion, Splinter appears to be fooling around, dancing as though it held a Sword. Whatever the matter was, its attack went up.

Outnumbered two to one, Machop puts up a brave fight, using Close Combat and Focus Blast on Lumber. However, Lumber stands strong, responding with a couple of Drain Punches. With no qualms about fairness, SPlinter pushes in with a couple of Poison Jabs.

Hardhead lies behind in the dust shaking, WIth one final heave, it stands on its legs, only to collapse again and fall in a dead faint.

Hm...tough decisions here, boys. Splinter, it doesn't look too great for you right now, but you're not going down without a fight! Good news is that Chuck Norris is going to faint this round, so all you two have to worry about is Grass Skirt. Here's the game plan:

Splinter, I want you to become an all-out attacking machine this round . Luckily, Grass Skirt is weak to your Poison attacks, so I want you to use Poison Jab three times until you're down. This should provide some pressure for Lumber's three moves to go off without a hitch.

Lumber, you're going to be responsible for prolonging your own fainting this round. Start off using by activating the SHEER FORCE within you and firing off a SHEER FORCE boosted Rock Slide at both Grass Skirt and Chuck Norris (since this is doubles). This hits both targets, Chuck Norris is still slower than you, and Chuck Norris has No Guard - a recipe for a perfect KO chance! Then, finish the round with Drain Punch and another Drain Punch! If for some reason you're about to be KO'd by Grass Skirt on the third turn, change your action to Mach Punch for that turn.

So:

Splinter:
Poison Jab (Grass Skirt) -> Poison Jab -> Poison Jab

Lumber:
SHEER FORCE Rock Slide (Hitting Both and KO'ing Chuck Norris) -> Drain Punch -> Drain Punch
OR IF ABOUT TO BE KO'd ON TURN THREE
SHEER FORCE Rock Slide (Hitting Both and KO'ing Chuck Norris) -> Drain Punch -> Mach Punch

Alright, let's do this!

Chuck Norris, you're going to take one or two for the team. You can't dodge attacks, but you can blow them up! Shoot a Focus Blast at the Rock Slide as it comes down to cause a shockwave and destroy the entire rock slide. Then shoot a Fire Blast at Lumberr, followed by another Focus Blast at Lumberr.

Focus Blast~Fire Blast~Focus Blast

Grass Skirt, you're in charge of taking out Splinter. While Chuck Norris takes care of the Rock Slide, shoot a Fire Blast point-blank at Splinter as he comes in. He's a bit away from you, so take your time and make sure you land the attack. Continue Fire Blasting away until he faints. Change your target to Lumberr once Splinter faints.

First off, Splinter rushes in, Poison Jabbing Grass Skirt, who winces in pain. Grass Skirt responds equally with a Fire Blast, which makes Splinter crash to the ground. Enraged, Lumber slides rocks down upon its foes. Chuck Norris, as a last move, fires a Focus Blast, protecting Grass Skirt, but falling in the process.

Lumber and Grass Skirt exchange hits, the former Drain Punching the latter twice, while the latter blasts fire twice at the Lumber. The 2 Pokemon square off, Lumber a bit battleworn, and Grass Skirt looking eveasively, waiting for its next opponent.

Amazing job, Splinter! Way to be a team player.

Go, Salmon the Slowpoke! Let's finish the job!

Aright Grass Skirt, all hope is not lost. You can do this!

We're going all-out on our attacking now. Alternate between your two foes; Giga Drain on Salmon, Fire Blast on Lumberr, and another Giga Drain on Salmon.

All right Salmon, it's time to do what you do best - tricky tactics!

Salmon, I want you to tank that hit and use Disable on the Drain! That'll give you two free turns in a row. Fire off a Yawn, then a Future Sight to end the round.

EDIT: Forgot my own rules. Sorry! Lumber, I want you to SHEER FORCE Rock Slide one last time, then just stand and watch Salmon do the rest while you relax.

Welcome back to the dojo!

Grass Skirt starts off actively with a Giga Drain directed at Salmon, who coolly follows up with a Disable. Using almost all of its remaining energy, Lumber uses SHEER FORCE Rock Slide, hitting Grass Skirt, but also leaving Lumber on the brink of fainting due to lack of energy.

Embirch targets a Fire Blast at Lumber, who just sits down while its partner Yawns at Grass Skirt. Next, as Grass Skirt fails to use its attack, and totters off to sleep, Salmon uses Future Sight, sending an attack into the future.

What will happen now?

Okay guys, it's asleep for two turns, so that should give us time to set up a strategic plan! (Yes, you too Timburr!)

Salmon, start off the round using Calm Mind! Then, use Ice Beam and lastly Surf! Remember, your Future Sight should be going off at the end of this round as well!

Lumber, you're low on energy, but you certainly aren't useless! On the first turn, make your way over to Salmon and stand directly next to it. When Grass Skirt wakes up and attempts to attack, get in the way of any attack! You'll be sacrificing yourself, but you should give us time to win the match! Also, if you're alive before Surf is used, position yourself right in front of Salmon and fling yourself into the surf, aiming to collide with Grass Skirt as you faint!

So:
Salmon: Calm Mind -> Ice Beam -> Surf
Lumber: Walk to Salmon -> Protect Salmon -> Protect Salmon/Ride That Surf!

Alright Grass Skirt, we can do this!

Since you're sleeping, just sleep I guess. When you wake up, Shoot a Leech Seed over Lumberr at Salmon. Riding that wave should take enough energy to kill him.

While Grass Skirt is snoozing away to glory and Lumber is sitting around doing nothing in particular for a couple of actions, Salmon uses Calm Mind and follows up with an Ice Beam, weakening Grass Skirt. On the final action, Grass Skirt wakes up and shoots a Leech Seed at Salmon, who drains all the water in the pools for a Surf, meaning that attack can no longer be used.
