  • the only reason to use it is to have the ability to summon rain again (like how Salamence is comparable to Rayquaza)

  • Salac Berry and Timid nature ensure max speed

  • Toxic can poison the foe
  • Hypnosis can lull the foe to sleep
  • Ice Beam is for hitting dragons
  • Surf and Scald are stabs, Surf has more power but Scald can burn

  • Kyogre is a given
  • teammates that can abuse the rain
  • Rapid Spin support is needed for the second set
  • lures and counters for others that can summon other weather effects

  • sending out Groudon, Tyranitar, Hippowdon or Ninetales after it has summoned the rain
  • Taunt and priority destroy the first set
  • entry hazards, hail and sandstorm destroy the second set
[Optional Changes]

  • you could use Perish Song but it is a lot riskier as you have to rely on Wobbuffet to allow it to work
  • Encore is usable
[Dream World]

  • Politoed's Dream World has been released
I don't expect this to get approval and I know that Endeavour sets are awful now.
 
If you are thinking about using Politoed in Ubers, just don't. There are WAY too many Pokemon that are more worth your while in the Ubers tier. Trust me on this one; if you want permanent rain, then Kyogre is more than enough to provide that, if you know what you're doing. If you really want to use a gimmick endeavour set, you are probably better off using a lv. 1 Smeargle under Trick Room. At least Smeargle can use Spore, Destiny Bond, or whatever you can dream up.

Ubers has so many threats to deal with that every team slot is of crucial importance. Using Politoed is truly a waste of a moveslot. You will get set up on like it's no one's business, and that is a real problem when facing Extremekiller Arceus, Psycho Killer Mewtwo, Bulk Up Dialga, and a number of other threats.
