Monohm.png

I send out Hydrus the Monohm with the ability Static.

I'll send out Brian my Porygon and he'll have Download

Go ahead and start off with a thunder wave to try and cripple Hydrus before she can do too much to us. Follow up with tri attack and finish with psybeam

Two can play at that game. Before Brain gets you thunderwave back, if Brain's thunderwave hits Heal Bell it off and stir up a storm with Rain Dance. If the thunderwave doesn't hit for some reason Rain Dance then Thunder.

Thunderwave -> Hell Bell(if paralysed)/Rain Dance -> Rain Dance/Thunder

Thunder Wave - Heal Bell/Rain Dance - Rain Dance/Thunder

---------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, and welcome to the exciting Creature Watching channel! Flora's here today to discuss and view one of the most amazing creatures in the world: Krabby over at the sunny beach!

... Unfortunately, there appears to be an extinction of Krabby life forms at this pitiful beach. However... hey look! There are two trainers over at the sands, staring each other down with... determination. This looks mighty interesting to view instead! Cameraman, pan here quick!

The male figure with shining golden armor, who calls himself GoldenKnight, sends out a disfigured polygonal duck called Brian, which appears to be quite distant, but mostly bold! But... bam! Looks like the feminine figure, who appears to be named Wyverii, just sent out a puffy, cuddly Monohm called Hydrus, which sure is modest! Excellent!

Before anything happens, the two mons have a complete stare down. Perhaps Hydrus was trying to intimidate Porygon with her face, but Brian got a completely different result. Maybe Brian just increased its brain power and strategy by Downloading cheats off the internet? Regardless, Hydrus seems ready and starts off with a sharp jolt of electric that suddenly makes Brian tremble upon impact. Is Brian scared of the wave of thunder? No, as we can see Brian retaliate with what appears to be the same Thunder Wave at the cloudy dragon. Bzzzz! Looks like both contenders will be starting this match crippled with paralysis! Or will they?

Hydrus shows no fear and rings a lovely healing bell, curing herself of the annoying paralysis before being hit by a watchful Tri Attack from Brain. This beam blasts Hydrus off her feet and causes her to roll over the sand. Oof! Hydrus certainly didn't expect such an attack!

Despite the deadly assault that Brian made, Hydrus gets up and cheerfully dances a spiritual Rain Dance upon the earth. Looks like it's going to be quite muddy in this area, but it doesn't seem to bother Brian much at all as it fires off a fast Psybeam at Hydrus. Ouch! Hydrus takes the beam and continues to be up. Toughen up miss!

Rain will continue for 4 more rounds (if I have the interpretation of "round" right). No hax has happened. Wyverii's next to hopefully make up for the damage here!

Okay Porygon hurts like hell so it's time to go all out on the offensive. Thunder, Thunder, Thunder! Don't stop until either you or the digital fiend goes down. If Brian attempts any evasive maneovers somehow Surf first to remove obstructions and dip Porygon into even more water and ensure the thunders will hit!

Thunder/Surf(if evasive measures are taken) -> Thunder -> Thunder

Go ahead and start up with agility to dig yourself low enough into the sand that thunder won't be a shit to us, the good news is that we're slower so she'll have focused on Thunder by then. Follow up with Tri Attack, or dig if you were paralyzed. Finish things off with another psybeam.

Also, shouldn't I be at like 20% paralysis? I'm just wondering since the thunder wave was at the beginning of the round.

Thunder/Surf - Thunder - Thunder

---------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, we're back for another exciting round of Wyv vs GK! Let's see what they got.

Before Brian attempted to move a single inch, Hydrus summons a crackling Thunder from the skies, striking it dead on. In fear of being electrocuted yet again, Brian adapts to its reflexes and uses Agility through the sand, "beak" first. Smart thinking, as being covered in the sand's "Ground-type" material will surely lessen the damage (think Mud Sport)! Brian's still slower in terms of Speed though.

Where Brian go? Hydrus looks left, right, left, right, and there's no signs but a small black hole at where Brian was. There's just no way that she can summon another Thunder at a nonexistent target! Suddenly, a explosion of sand rises from behind Hydrus - it's Brain! Immediately, Brian launches a filthy Tri Attack at the cloud dragon, hitting spot on, and knocking her across the wet sand, almost to the waters. Ouch!

Hydrus is determined to at least get one more hit in and launches a dreadful, laughing Thunder at Brian. Apparently the rain has been washing away at Brian's covered sand, almost completely enough that the collision surely had to hurt. Brian staggers a little, but is able to pick up its momentum and blast a peculiar Psybeam at Hydrus. Hydrus sure is hating this as she shrugs with disgust at Brian's assault!

Thunder > 12 + 3 + (4-3 x 1.5) = 16.5 = 17

Rain will continue for 3 more rounds. Yet again, RNG says no hax shall occur.

(I also thought of doing Surf first, but since I thought Monohm was going to move first even if Porygon were to Agility due to Speed advantage and paralyze, it looked more logical to Thunder first.)

edit: I think GK's next. ;D Wyv will get to counter afterward though. Sorry about not being clear on that Wyv!

Unless GK is fine with twisting it a little bit? Otherwise, GK can post as if the post below didn't exist.

Eh well, Wyv can go post again taking consideration of GK's post.

ok since we can't evade anymore let's try to let the lightning strike!

Brian, go ahead and use agility again, but this time far enough on land to create a lightning rod that won't be struck down by land, if Wyv's plan ends up one to destroy said rod, go ahead and do the sand digging again. After that Fire two straight tri attacks

Ah Goddamnit, now I'm doing it. Well it's only fair I guess since I can actually see deleted posts and GK made the same mistake last round. My stratagy doesn't change much.

We have to be steadfast. It's clear that Porygon will down us quickly so we need to get off as much damage as quickly as possible. Fire off another Thunder and lets not make the same mistake here with our stratagy, if Porygon is using the sand to evade the thunders Surf instead, otherwise continue to pile all your energy and effort into more Thunders.

---------------------------------------------------------

We're up to one of the main climaxes of the battle! What will be the deciding factor in this round?

As a result from its success from last round, Brian seeks to abuse its Agility, but for another purpose this time. Hydrus knows this and attempts a flashy Thunder right off the bat at Brian's face. The end result was an electrified Brian, but Brian gets ready to avoid future lightning strikes and quickly skids through the sand with the goal of creating a lightning rod. The new Franklin?

Hydrus sighs in relief; she knows your games already, little Brian! She jumps upon the waves and commends a splashing Surf at Brian, with extra torrential power from the rain. Sploosh! Brian may be a mechanical duck, but it sure looks like it suffered quite a bit of pain there! Ah, but right when Brian wants to retaliate back in anger, it shivers in full paralysis! Bzzzz!

Little Hydrus knows that it's time to step up her momentum right now; there's no time to waste such a golden opportunity. She raises another wave of rain boosted Surf at unfortunate Brian. Splash! Brian washes over the waves like a dull toy, albeit still functional. In revenge, Brian fires off one of the mightiest Tri Attacks it has ever made, blasting Hydrus off her feet and even paralyzing her!

Will Brain get its payback or will it fall to Hydrus's might? Stay tune for more next time!

Okay, actually first this time, hurr. Also wowee I didn't expect that damage output from surf either.

Right then, lets hope for a quick KO despite our para. It saved our skin earlier but any more attacks will down us quickly. Surf to ensure you finish Brain off then if you're allowed to setup after a KO Rain Dance to renew that lovely rain for the next contender.

This looks to be the last round for one of our brave battlers. To which mon's funeral shall we be viewing today? Let's find out!

It's down to the wire, as both Pokemon know it. Thanks to the multiple flexing in its... spacey area from the earlier Agility, Brian quickly advances a bit, locks target on Hydrus, and fires off a vicious Tri Attack at the poor dragon. Hydrus is blasted across the wet sand, causing her to roll and roll until she suddenly halts right on her back. Was that the finishing critical hit? Alas, it is not (a critical), as Hydrus rolls right back on top and summons a nightmarish Surf upon the beach. She definitely isn't looking upright with the effort herself when the surf is carrying her broken body upon Brian's location, causing her to collide with it upon impact! Her (close to) last stand... did she do it?

Once the waters subsided back to the ocean, it is clear that one mon has been defeated. There lies Brian, X_X on the beach, with water rushing down its body. Hydrus is flipped right on top of Brian, tired and weary, but nevertheless attempting to prepare for GK's next Pokemon with the remainder of her strength.

It's time to say farewell to Brian, but surely Hydrus herself can't continue on? Stay tuned for next time on this amazing battle at the rainy beach!

Welcome to the next round of Wyv vs GK! Yes, this will be an uneventful round, but it has to be done, doesn't it?

Hydrus is suffering from paralysis disorder, and as a result, cannot put her pace into motion. Niles, smirking at his fellow, or shall we shall, rival, emits a violent pulse of dragon cries at the exhausted Hydrus, blasting her across the sand and finally right into the ocean. Ploop! A brand new round, and a brand new pair of contenders. Let's see what they got!

Itching to get started, Niles fires off a swift Thunderbolt at the oh so helpless King of Piplups, electrifying him into extreme pain. Things are already looking bad for King, but he shakes the attack off, steps up, and fires off an accurate Ice Beam at Niles. Brrrr! Niles definitely disliked the taste of Winter sprayed upon his face, but no matter... he knows he's still on top of his game.

Next, Niles forcefully Growls at the innocent King. Shuddering from the growl, King crawls upon the ground, but as he's crawling, he whoops up an impressive body of rising water from the ocean, rides it, and swiftly Surfs upon Niles. Oof, but Niles isn't finished yet!

Niles takes his advantage up the next step and sprays off yet another Thunderbolt at King, who just cannot dodge the swift attack. Shocked, but very angry at the type disadvantage, King desperately fires off a vicious Ice Beam at Niles's way, freezing his clouds into a whole new frozen continent. Alas, Shield Dust prevents any cheating from occuring and Niles shakes off the ice particles from his hide with ease. Niles smiles in his advantage and eagerly awaits to carry out his next commands. King, you better pray for a miracle!

i guess i'll take it :p

Things look bad, especially with that slack off order in the works. Well then lets go all out offensive, counter his bolt with an Ice Beam, then at least negate his slacking with another Ice Beam (that thing can sleep through anything!), finally use all that pent up anger and frustration from being zapped so much into a Flail!

---------------------------------------------------------

Here comes out latest round. What will the end result be of a super shocked penguin and a mad dragon?

Fiercely, Niles charges up a Thunderbolt and violently electrifies poor King, head to toe. Huff! Puff! King goes on his "knees", but he doesn't seem ready to fall yet! Wanting to end his shocking torments as soon as possible, King fires off a beam of ice at Niles in hopes of victory. It crashes upon Niles's face with a valiant amount of pressure while also freezing the bottom frontier area of Niles. Ah, but Niles only winks and smiles after taking such a painful attack! Just what is he planning?

After the assault, Niles decides to take it easy and Slack Off on the beach. "Who cares if King fires off another Ice Beam? I'll just relax on the ice." is probably just what Niles has in mind when King takes this time to pile up a mouthful of ice. Angrily, King blasts away at the chilling Niles with another Ice Beam. Niles closes his eyes and absorbs the attack with determination of surviving. He knows what to do next.

Upon opening his eyes, Niles absorbs whatever electrical particles are around and creates one of his most awesome Thunderbolts ever, somehow melting the ice he was relaxing on; he then releases the incredible shocking blast at little King, who just blankly blinks at the incoming danger. ZAP! King is definitely not looking too hot here. Still, King regains consciousness and tries something... new. With his quick, happy feet, King rushes over at Niles and starts Flailing all over the cloudy dragon with intense madness. Niles lowers itself in self-defense, but he's still standing strong.

By then, it is clear what the result of next round will be. What an amazing battle it has been, but the future is inevitable.
