I always lead with this pokemon as sometimes i come up against leads who aren't that tough or pose no threat to gyarados and i can taunt them and dragon dance. I like the coverage here too as he can do decent damage to loads of pokemon.

My least favourite pokemon on this team so if I ever come up against a pokemon who will use a sleep move i switch to this guy as he never does anything. He does counter some important pokemon however.

pretty weak offensively, but great in defence. One of my favourite pokemon on this team by far. I have my doubts on reflect, but has been useful before.

I may replace explosion for a different move but not much makes sense as pursuit is already on heracross, and bullet punch is kinda stupid on an agiligross.

I opted for scarf as i needed some instant speed. The idea of two exploding pokemon seems weird to me, but dragon pulse and dark pulse won't be that useful. I was thinking about using overheat or flamethrower instead.

I'd rather have more power on heracross than heatran so i doubt that'll change as it has worked well for me. it is the standard set, and is great. close combat does decent damage to most things due to the choice band.
