I'm gonna challenge Dogfish44 again.

"Back again I see? Well, after lady fortuna's wrath in the last match, I suppose I can understand... let's see if you can survive this bout!"

Restricted Moves: Max 5 Chills Per Pokemon ; Max 2 Recovery Moves per Pokemon ; Restricted moves as per Arena
Arena: Bolt Beach

Abilities: ALL
Substitute Orders: 2
Arena: Bolt Beach
A 120 * 100 * 100 Room, Bolt Beach is an artificial haven. Above the arena is a glass dome, where spectators watch, whilst trainers have podiums to issue commands from elevated podiums at opposite ends of the arena. Bolt Beach is mainly a bright yellow sand, and a dark yellow water. There are a few palm trees, although they give off a slight green glow.

Features:

- Electricity in the sand means that electric types all learn Charge, and the effect lasts for 9 actions.
- The sand reduces the BP of Seismic attacks by 1, and lower's dig's priority on tunnelling down to -0.5.
- Attacks which require natural sunlight cannot work.
- Attacks which cannot work in an artificial environment do work, but paralyse the user 5% of the time as if hit by Thunder Wave, since the "Nature" is electric.
- Nature Power is treated as Shock Wave.
- There is a constant rainfall in the arena, which cannot be changed.
- Mud Sport is washed away at the end of each round.

And we return to Bolt Beach as Elevator_Music prepares to once again square off against the incumbent Electric Gym Leader Dogfish44. Dogfish is both the most challenged Gym Leader and also the one with the best W/L record, handily winning most of his matches. Squaring off against him we have Elevator_Music, returning to challenge the Gym Leader for the second time, hax taking away his chances in their previous encounter.

With the introductions out of the way, let's see the opposing lineups!

Elevator_Music returns with a vastly different approach from his previous encounter, opting for neutral type matchups against the gym leaders. Each Pokemon he has brought is notably dangerous however, and will certainly give Dogfish pause. Necturna may be the Pokemon to watch here, as it has the inherent advantage over Dogfish44's Krillowatt, in addition to resisting most of his team's STAB options.

Dogfish44's team needs no introduction at this point and returns, trusty as ever. Watch for Eelektross and Emolga to potentially see time in this matchup, their Flying attacks being useful against EMs team.

The battlers are ready, the teams are set and it is time to begin! We turn now to the ceremonial coin toss at center beach!

Heads=Dogfish
Tails=EM

And so the Gym Leader will kick off our match and defend his turf. How will this match play out? Stay tuned!

We kick off this match under the rainy skies of Bolt Beach, the ironic beach with constant rainfall. This rainfall is sure to be of importance, giving Dogfish a significant advantage over many an opponent. The match opens up with Dogfish releasing the trusty Nimbus. This Cyclohm has been a constant presence in Dogfish's Gym Battles and is certainly one of his most effective Pokemon. The challenger, Elevator Music counters by releasing the mutated computer virus, Porygon-Z, who wastes no time in going on the offense, shooting a powerful icy beam at the opposing Dragon. In contrast, Cyclohm takes a more strategic approach, setting up a barrier of light which will screen part of the power of special attacks away from him. Understanding Light Screens potential utility, P-Z Mimics Cyclohm's actions, gaining the abiltiy to use Light Screen for the duration of its time on the field. However, its time appears to be short lived as Cyclohm takes advantage of the respite to whip P-Z with its tail, striking it with enough force to trigger P-Zs Pokeball mechanism. Before it can be recalled P-Z fires off a second Ice Beam, though this one is weakened by the Light Screen, while Cyclohm leaves a Thunder and some paralysis as its parting gift as Porygon-Z leaves the field.

With the field empty Revenankh suddenly explodes into the battle, drawn out by the previous attack. This battle continues!

After a round in which the challengers Porygon gained a slight edge on the Leaders Cyclohm, both Pokemon withdrew their active Pokemon, sending out Revenankh and Eelektross respectively, equipped with Expert Belts to continue the fight. Thinking strategically, the Eel Bounced in the air to avoid damage fromt eh mummy's attack. However, the mummy made a few quick calculations and channeled some of its energy into creating a decoy which barely withstood the damage from the resulting Bounce. Distracted by the tattered doll, Eelektross spent its next action destroying it with some fancy Acrobatics allowing the Revenankh a free shot with its Hammer Arm! The Eel bounced up one more time, but Revenakh pulled its ace card and Smacked the Eel down, dealing damage and causing the Eel to take crash damage as well. The challenger has gained an HP advantage on two mons now, can he keep up the offensive pressure?

After the setback of last round with the frosty Emolga Dgofish brings out his Eelektross once more to finish the job. But Porygon-Z has a crafty plan to survive another round and wear down the Eel, quickly going to sleep and Resting off its status ailments, simultaneously offsetting some of the damage taken from Eelekektross' successive Brick Breaks. Eelektross and Porygon-Z are on their last legs, but Porygon-Z has its speed back and is in place to hit Eelektross hard before going down, as Elevator Music looks to have taken control of this match.
