Arena: ASB Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about 4.5m wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is 24m wide, 33m long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than 18m). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

Togekiss [Togekissu] (F)
Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)
Type: Normal/Flying
Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:
Hustle: (Can be Enabled) This Pokemon puts immense force and speed in its physical attacks, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by three (3), but the haste used lowers their accuracy to 80% of normal.
Serene Grace: (Innate) This Pokemon has a blessing which doubles the success chance of its attack's secondary effects. (eg paralysis from Thunderbolt)
Super Luck (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon's natural skill increases its critical hit levels one stage above other Pokemon, making its normal moves inflict critical hits 12.5% of the time and its high critical hit moves inflict critical hits 25% of the time.

Nature: Timid (+15% Spe, +12% Acc, -1 Atk)
Type: Bug/Poison
Bug: Bug STAB; more mobility in dense brush or forest conditions. Gains one extra attack on multi-hit moves, with a cap of five (5).

Abilities:
Shield Dust: (Innate) This Pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that prevents opponents secondary effects from taking place (e.g. burn from Flamethrower). It does not block direct status moves (such as Thunder Wave.)
Tinted Lens: (Innate) When this Pokemon uses an attack that is normally not very effective, that attack is calculated at the next highest resistance modifier. (e.g. 4x resistance is calculated at 2x, 2x resistance becomes neutral).
Wonder Skin (DW): (Innate) The Pokemon's skin has an agent that heavily resists attempts to change its composition. It changes the accuracy of all non-damaging attacks to 50% before applying any other modifiers.

And so it begins another exiting battle in the ASB Arena, the arena that has seen the best and the worst, and everything crazy in between, though now we're just looking at a calm training match between these two veterans, not that this means this will be boring battle considering everything that could happen so let's start!

Elevator Music starts with it's always reliable Togekiss(u), one of the most famous mons in ASB because of the sheer amounts of battles it has been in and for being one of a select few to have beaten the Battle Hall succesfully, certainly a mon to beware. On the opposite side of the field we have a Giant monster, Hard Man the Steelix, raising 3 stories tall and covering the sun with it's intimidating size, though a quick glance to Emma's corner reveals how he's not afraid an only looks at the huge treath with a smug smile.

Togekissu starts the battle releases a bright red-orange stream of fire from its mouth directly against the iron snake, heating it's tale to a bright orange and causing some pretty good damage to it, though Hard Man seems to be living up to his name as he's capable to endure the pain and even retaliate by elevating a rock alluvium against the oposing bird. Togekissu manages to avoid damage but the scattered rocks will make it harder for her to
manoeuvre on the field.

Steelix takes the initiative and seeing he's trapped in between the rocks he goes for a full body assault, smashing his own body unto the little flying mon for some heavy damage though it seems he has cured itself completely as his tail still shines bright red making Hard scream like a soft caterpie as Togekissu fans the flames of hell that is his throat with the wind from his mighty wings. Hard Man manages to complete his attack launching him against the fences and making him go back to it's trainer yet the price is heavy as he ends the round heavily damaged and with an annoying burn reducing the effectivity of it's own attacks against whatever Elle has in store.

Elevator music looks at it's pokeball and releases... a Venomoth. Interesting decision but looking at that movepool I think it's obvious he know what he's doing so let's see what's to come...
