[DRAGON] ff7hero challenges Texas Cloverleaf

Rules:
Format: 3v3 Singles (Leader brings 6)
DQ Time: 3 Days
Switch: OK
Items: OK
Abilities: ALL
Substitutions: 3 per Pokemon
Chills/Recovers: 5/2 per Pokemon
Mega Pokemon: 1
Turn Order: Coin Flip
Arena: The First Lair

Here in the caldera of a long dead volcano the highest caste of Pokemon commune in the way that they know best, they speak a language that is universal to all dragons and all beings, the language of claws and power, of blood and pain, here the dragons fight.

The spoils of victory line the walls of the caves where the natives live, and in the center itself the ground is packed tight and cracked from pressure; for since the dawn of dragons there has never ceased to be a fight. They fight not for power, not for status, they fight because it runs in their marrow. These majestic beings fight because to conquer and subject is in their nature.

This is where the dragons originated. All species of dragons were born in this very place. Here they gathered together and tested their power against each other. This created a pressure of the very essence and soul of dragons that diffuses in the air. Dragons not used to this environment are overwhelmed by the assault of draconic power and as a result cannot harness their own innate abilities until they have adjusted. (Challenger Dragon Pokemon do not receive STAB benefits for 3a of battle time)

Recently, the Dragon Sords convened and granted an outsider special exception among their ranks. Charizard, the Dragon that never was, has been reborn as kith and kin through commune with humans. The Dragon Lords have permitted them into the pack on the condition that they only enter into the lair already in their draconic state. (Charizard may be brought by the Gym Leader and is always Mega evolved, holding Charizardite-X)

The dragons were born to rule and abhor all that would hold them back. This desire fuels the dragon's spirit, the spirit that infuses every substance near the lair. As a result, the tools of the dragons to defeat their natural adversaries are strengthened by the collective desire of all dragons to maintain their rightful place as Lords of all Pokemon. (+2 BAP to Fire-, Poison-, and Steel-type moves)

Hotfix: Rivalry's debuff against opposite gender Pokemon does not occur.
Team Texas Cloverleaf:
Watch out for Mega-Charizard X and Garchomp, because they both have SE STAB against ff7hero's pokemon.

In this gym match, ff7hero has traveled all the way out to the Dragon's Lair to challenge the Dragon Gym Leader, Texas Cloverleaf. Texas Cloverleaf sends out a Garchomp. Smart choice, since its Ground-type moves are SE against all of ff7hero's pokemon. ff7hero sends out his Aggron, and promptly mega-evolves it.

The Garchomp then causes a massive Earthquake, more powerful than most it can normally do, shaking the entire battlefield and probably harming the ground on which they fight. However, it doesn't deal a huge amount of damage thanks to Aggron's insane physical defense. Aggron retaliates with a massive Roar that scared away the Garchomp.

Garchomp can't move, though, as it is still recovering from its very draining earthquake the prior action. Aggron sets up some Stealth Rock traps, to deal damage to unsuspecting foes as they enter the battle.

Aggron turns its fist to Ice and releases a Punch, dealing considerable damage. Garchomp then unleashes a huge blast of Power from the Earth, with a huge (and incredibly draining) release of energy. However, it hits as hard as the Aggron's Ice Punch thanks to Aggron's great defenses.

"Nicely done Kaji, try to recover some health. Be prepared to wake up though. Be thankful Sheer Force has been left off as well."

Rest~Sleep Talk (Roar, Dragon Tail, Heavy Slam, Ice Punch)~Sleep Talk (Roar, Dragon Tail, Heavy Slam, Ice Punch)
If Taunt is ordered any action use Taunt A1 and push back
If you are awake A2 or A3, use Dragon Tail followed by Rest

Action 1:
Order: Aggron, Druddigon

Aggron used Rest
Aggron rested itself
-15 Energy
Aggron energy: 60

Druddigon used Heat Wave + Heat Wave combo
Hit(5144): Yes
Damage: (10*2.25+4.5-6)-2-1+3+2)(3/2)=34.5
Aggron is KOed
Druddigon is hurt by Life Orb recoil
Druddigon health: 86
-27 Energy
Druddigon energy: 73
Aggron's roar scared out Garchomp, and Druddigon was sent in to replace it by RNG. Aggron then Rested itself to restore HP. However, as Aggron was resting, it got hit by a massive Wave of Heat that knocked it out.

Now Texas Cloverleaf has the pokemon advantage, and early in the match. He also removed Aggron, ff7hero's only pokemon that can effectively stall.

ff7hero sent out a new pokemon to replace his fallen Aggron, a Lucario.

While the Druddigon is recovering from its combo, the Lucario sets up a Substitute to block attacks.

Lucario then attacks with a Dual-hitting Chop, for a good amount of damage. Druddigon then covers its fist with Fire and throws a Punch at the Lucario's substitute, and destroys it.

Lucario then cloaks its fist in Ice, and throws a Punch at Druddigon. Druddigon, in return brings for a powerful Earthquake and deals considerable damage, both to Lucario and whatever artificial structures may or may not exist nearby.

"Mulan, it seems as if you've been giving Druddigon the boost from Sheer Force as far back as that Heat Wave Combo. More importantly, I don't see where the Life Orb boost or damage has been accounted for. I think that's everything. Will order once this is resolved."

On the Heat Wave + Heat Wave combo, the +3 is Life Orb, and the +2 is the arena effects. Sheer Force was never on. I fixed forgetting the recoil and forgetting it in the prior round, though.

214o1lt.jpg

"Oh right, Arena effect. Thanks Mulan. Cherry Blossom, return. Alienware will get my second Expert Belt and take over. Counter Seitch?"

214o1lt.jpg

"Sorry guys. I don't think we were prepared for this... Do your best!"

Ice Punch~Psychic~Ice Punch
If Druddigon is underground, Earthquake
[Two Subs] If a damaging Ground or Fire type combo is used, Agility (Evasive)

Heat Wave ~ Earthquake ~ Sucker Punch+Sucker Punch

Fyi your agility sub would not dodge earthquake and heat wave combos because spread moves

Metagross health: 1.75

Charizard-X energy: 96

Metagross is hurt by Fire Spin
Metagross is KOed
Metagross tries to brace itself to Endure the attacks that Charizard launches at it. However, Charizard sees it coming and releases a Spinning vortex of Fire, trapping Metagross and KOing it though the Endure.

Now ff7hero has just a Lucario to go up against a Mega Charizard X and a Garchomp. This seems like it will be a hard uphill battle for ff7hero if he even has any chance at all of winning.
